Staff was friendly
Upgraded my room, but was told it was about an hour away from being clean. 3 1/2 hours later we got to check in total fail. Went to the beach and And asked the tenant for some towels and he pointed at an umbrella 60 yards away and said they’re over there if you want to go get one? Really wasn’t that his job. All the chairs were pulled by the main pool at 4:30 and they started hosing the place down when you really wanted to sit and enjoy the Jacuzzi and the view. Total fail. Even though I don’t drink I will admit the staff did leave a bottle of champagne with a value of $14 and a $150 credit against my bill as an apology but considering a five day stay was 14,000 in the room I was in it just wasn’t enough.

Very relaxing , And a very beautiful view from the main balcony ..
Our floor in the room looked like it had some dried up substance in a red color we would have though that housekeeping would have said something to maintenance .. we thought it was blood at first ..

It was such a beautiful property! The open-air lobby was so nice. We actually fell asleep on one of the couches waiting for our room (We got there early). The smells at this property just put you on island time immediately. We had a wonderful time at the luau. We decided to do it the day we arrived because we were already so comfortable! There was direct access to the beach, the food was amazing, and the staff was so helpful! We had all these plans to explore, but we were so comfortable at the resort that we didn't do quite as much as we had planned. We actually had a red-eye to catch on the last day, and we could only get a 12:00 PM Check out. The staff offered to keep our luggage for us, let us hang out at the resort, and let us know about the shower room on site so that we could have a shower before our flight. I would stay here every time!
Nothing! It was all great!

Cleanliness and quietness of the rooms, restaurants, and pool options
Public access to the property and the pools

Location
Cleanliness, lack of service at the pools, lack of house cleaning,

Pools, beach and breakfast all very nice. Staff was excellent!
The rooms were quite small and same with the bathroom. We had read this in similar reviews before we left. We did not spend much time in the room but for two people and luggage for a week they were on the small side.
4.2
great facilities, beautiful location, great staff.
prices are definitely high!

The pools were great, the services at the pool were excellent and the staff at the pools were really great! The room cleaning was excellent and the ability to use the grounds was exceptional. Valet was also very good. Loved the free drink with purchase of cabana.
The beach staff were unfriendly and not helpful. The costs are just starting to get too high - we have visited 5-6 times and there should be a better loyalty program for return guests. The Ohana Suite at the end of our trip is usually excellent but it was extremely dirty and felt unclean. The hotel should have also given us a heads up and about the mineral sunscreen and had more options for sale. We were allergic to the sun screen provided.

Beautiful beach and waterfall pools. Awesome sunset view. Good restaurants.
It was busy when we arrived and they made us wait over an hour for our room at check-in and no one greeted us with leis.

beautiful

The property is beautiful. There were shops close by we could walk to and a nice walking path along the water. Friendly staff. Market was good and the beach restaurant. Free shuttle takes you to near-by shopping and restaurants.
The room had an odd set up. It needs a wall between the bathroom and bedroom as the light wakes everyone up if someone gets up to shower earlier (there are blinds). They need more pool chairs! They have a bunch of chairs under canopies they charge extra for but these were frequently empty but everyone is fighting for a regular chair (literally).

It’s a beautiful resort, the pool area is great. We went in off peak season so was able to get a spot to sit by the pool each time. They have resort activities like yoga or paddle boarding (for free)! The food on-site is of great quality too. Staff are super attentive and helpful. Fairly convenient to get around and they have a complimentary car service for drops offs near by.
The rooms are small for what you pay and doesn’t match the quality of the rest of the resort.

only location.
- Very old rooms. Highly.
- Extremely uncomfortable rooms (I had an ocean view).
- Beige tiles, like dirt on the floor, are extremely difficult mentally in the room.
- The shower cabin is so terribly located that it looks like it will shock nearby sockets. It is very difficult to adjust hot and cold water, and therefore it is uncomfortable to wash.
- Splashes everywhere, in no case do not use a hair dryer, it's dangerous! I
- also got wildly poisoned after dinner at the restaurant of the Morimoto Maui hotel. Disgusting service in this restaurant, extremely unfriendly bartender girl.
- I rented a SUP board at the hotel and paid immediately on the beach, but as a result, when I checked out, they charged me again this amount for the sun board, and if I hadn’t checked, it turns out they would have cheated me by taking an additional amount.

Everything about the resort was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the facilities are great and the views are out fo this world. There are several pools to accommodate different groups and the hotel restaurant is amazing.

Pools were good.
Nobody told us that there would be no slippers, no razors, etc. We had to ask for those. Also, bedlinens are not changed until we ask. We had to call for it, again.
Toothbrushes, pastes, and soaps are not refilled until we ask, either. Nobody told us how to order room dining, so we had to ask about it after looking for the menu for 10-20 minutes. You can find it on channel 18...The view from the room is not bad but is not worth paying. I would rather visit other hotels next time...

The arrival is really phenomenal, with flowers and a beautiful walkway. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff very friendly and professional and the restaurants are great. The price was exorbitant though.
Very expensive (hotel and restaurants)
4.2
staff at registration did not want to take payment on 2 cards for a week stay. overall, this hotel is very expensive for quality. food options are limited.
4.2
beautiful surroundings, very nice accommodations, and very clean everywhere. I personally liked it very much that they had Peloton bikes and great treads.
Stuff was all over very nice and kind.
Drinks and food were very expensive.

This is the best hotel in Hawaii I have stayed at so far. Not only was the location amazing, with access to a large private beach, pools and expansive poolside decks, we could access all this directly from our room’s balcony. Also had free laundry available, lots of activities like music/luaus at night, hula & ukulele lessons, photography sessions, and just so many perks included. We used the valet parking which was $45 per day, but the staff were so quick and responsive and also gave us lots of advice on where to go. If you don’t have a car, it might be a little hard to access. All the staff were amazing, friendly, and really helpful. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and can’t recommend it enough.
Very small thing, but the access to the lights were next to the front door, which was a little inconvenient at night when we wanted to turn off the lights from the bed.

You guys made our 20th anniversary something that will be very fondly remembered. Everything one there has our sincere appreciation. Thank you so much.
Nothing really. It would be nice to have dual sinks and a bidet. But the good more than made up for these shortcomings.
4.2
the best thing about the hotel is the location and the beach.
Rude staff.
Not all, but most of them, just makes you want to leave the hotel. for the money we spent there we were hoping to get better service, $1800/night and you feel sorry for coming there.
4.2
Location. Pool and beach areas. Staff
Rooms could use comfortable seating.
The mixed drinks were not the best.
4.2
amazing location, gorgeous layout with multiple infinity pools, and separate kids/family pool that didn’t disturb the peace of the resort. The design is modern Hawaiian.
expensive in general but in line with the neighborhood; Four Seasons, Grand Wailea, Fairmont…but newer and more intimate
4.2
Breakfast was good but over priced!!
More reasonable breakfast, the breakfast buffet way over priced.
4.2
We loved our room and its view. The property’s beach area is absolutely gorgeous! The room is comfortable also.
4.2
Lots of pools to choose from, loved Morimoto restaurant, nice to have beach access
Food - I was really disappointed by the menu options, very little healthy options & very expensive for what it was. I thought the staff were ok, not great unfortunately. Given the price for the stay I expected more overall and I wouldn't stay again.
4.2
I didn't swim in the pool as it was too cold, but I went to another pool later in my stay and it was delightful. Breakfast was awesome as was every meal that we had in the restaurants.
Room size, but that was our choice, so I don't think really much could have been better.
