Sehr komfortabel ausgestattet mit Zugang zu einem zauberhaften Garten

Die Lage der komfortabel ausgestatteten und sehr sauberen Unterkunft ist perfekt um Kauai zu entdecken. Man kann wunderbar in dem zauberhaften Garten entspannen und Carol ist eine äußerst sympathische und herzliche Gastgeberin.

Great base to discover Kauai

Very nice and peaceful garden, beautiful room, availability of a portable parasol, chairs and a cooler to go to the beach, towels were also very soft, Kapaa is quiet central on the island so allost everything was reachable within the hour

Exceptional

Everything was just great. The room was very pretty and very clean, the bathroom was huge! The garden just beautiful, so many beautiful plants, we even got a tour ☺️ The best thing about our stay (but of course everything was just perfect) were the hosts, Carol & Les. They were the sweetest hosts ever! Bringing us fruits, asking if everything is alright, very mindful and very welcoming!! We would recommend the secret garden room 100% for everyone! The situation was also great to explore the island, because it’s in the middle. Thank you for this beautiful, welcoming stay!

The Secret Garden Room is appropriately named and it’s glorious!

My husband and I found it to be a refreshing, beautiful, retreat as well as a certified wildlife habitat. The room accommodations were very comfortable for a 6-night stay and complete beyond our expectations. Carol and Les are very gracious hosts.

Magical place to stay! I recommend it!

The hosts are so kind and hospitable! You can see that everything is done with love, every detail! The room is spacious, clean, beautiful! Equipped with everything you need .. it's better than an apartment! and the garden is crazy, a sanctuary of peace. It was great, without a doubt one of the best stays of my life. If I could give more than 10 stars I would give them! Thanks for everything

This was absolutely gorgeous and magical.

Everything was well explained and simple. The communication with the hosts was excellent. They had great recommendations in terms of what to do/see around there. We had a wonderful stay thanks to them.

The only aspect of our stay that could have gone better has nothing to do with the hosts or the place, as it related to the fact that neither of us has a driving license so it was hard to get places. We did find a way around it that worked very well though: we rented electric bikes and had a great time going around the island with them.

Very enjoyable.

It was a beautiful location. I enjoyed watching the birds from the patio. We enjoyed the fruit from the trees on the property.

There was no inside seating. This made it rather difficult when it was raining. However, there was an additional building outside that had two nice chairs in it where one could sit and read.

The secret is out & it’s a great one!

Very accommodating hosts, they provided us with all the essentials- coffee, some fruit including fresh cut pineapple, cookies and lots of great advice on where to go & what to see. Liked location, very quiet, but yet very centrally located to the town of Kapaa. The koi pond & garden area is absolutely breathtaking & so relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back to Kauai & we know where we’re staying!

The birds in the foliage are a bit noisy, but so worth seeing & hearing.

Stunning stay!

We had a lovely stay here. The hosts were very welcoming, there was fruit waiting for us and on Thanksgiving we were even given desserts :-) The room is spacious and you can store your luggage out of sight. It is well-equiped and tastefully furnished. The shower was great, especially after walking the Kalalau trail it was really enjoyable. The garden is beautiful, makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the rainforest. We’d be back anytime if we ever make it to Kauai again. Much better choice than the run down hotels that charge insane prices.

A taste of paradise

Sitting on the deck of your room you have a private botanical paradise. Starting with a Koi pond evolving into a beautiful Zen Garden filled with botanical wonders.

The property is in a small middle class housing development, however once on the property you forget the neighborhood and have been transported to your own private park.

Best couple experience: nature, calmness and comfort

Starting with the obvious here, Carol and Les’ garden is breathtaking! It presented us with the perfect setting to start our day and have breakfast by the koi pond. Secondly, our hosts were extremely caring and welcoming. From the welcome basket and cleanliness to small details such as the high-end toiletries, their attention to every single detail elevated our experience! Staying there was one of the highlights of being in Kauai, which is not an easy thing to achieve since it’s such a gorgeous place!

Les and Carol created a peaceful and serene space. We never tired looking upon the japanese gardens surrounding the rental property. The space was small, but had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Both of them went out of their way to make to make our stay on Kauai memorable.

Superb

The hosts were amazing and really got a good feel of the Hawaiian culture. The room was off a beautiful garden area and a nice place to retreat too. Enjoyed the Koi pond, the artful landscape and interesting books. Experienced a multitude of new fruit & treats recieved in a gift basket.

Since we had to cut our stay short, we will definitely come back to this wonderful island.

The hosts, Carol and Les, were wonderful. We couldn't find a cab or Uber to take us to the car rental facility (by the way, don't even think of not having a car in Kauai). They took the time to drive us there. They gave us a tour of the garden which is beautiful, made us aware of the local places to visits and eat and were generally very friendly and pleasant. You could not ask for better hosts.

Carol and Les were exceptional hosts! We had a great time in the Secret Garden room. They even helped us getting a car,

The garden is gorgeous!! We had breakfast in different spaces of the garden and we were discovering new details every day. They provided fruits, snacks and coffee!! The even prepared a pineapple for us. They have books, we enjoyed the ones about movies filmed in Kauai. The Secret Garden room is located in a residential area, so you will only listen to nature sounds.

The property is located up the hill, so you will need a car to get there and to get around to buy food. But having a car is a MUST in every Hawaiian island (except Oahu), so you will need it anyways.
