Beautiful suite right on the beach with parking spot

Stayed in Villa 9 in late January, the groundfloor suite next to the pool. Each unit has its own parking spot right next to the building. Loved the location - right across from the beach & walkable to Carlsbad, sunset visible from the suite. Walked to coffee shops for breakfast. Felt safe getting back alone at 3am, the streets were empty, just a few cars hanging out at the beach parking lot but no camper vans and no weird energy or noise. Huge fridge & lovely kitchenette. Security cameras overlooking pool & suite entrance.

- Kuerig pod coffee maker only, would be nice to offer a french press or drip device & filters - Hairdryer is a really small travel size one, kinda dried my hair out, recommend bringing a serum to protect the hair if you want to use it - Safe in the closet was out of order

Worth it!

Wonderful location and a very cute property! Parking was a nice bonus and the common areas were very clean and enjoyable.

Didn't realize the property didn't have a/c, wasn't a big deal due to it being winter but it was still a bit on the warm side.

Great location HORRIBLE STAFF and CUSTOMER SERVICE

Location was amazing (That's IT)

First, we couldn't get a hold of them for a solid week before check-in, then when we arrived we were told they would provide us with a packing play but no one was working. The front desk on a Tuesday and no pack and play was put into our room so we had to go out and purchase one, which put a damper in our day. Clear water damage and appear to be mold clean up in the bathroom on the ceiling, cracked glass closet door. Then our second day there they had a electrician schedule to fix a and I quote "sparking outlet for the microwave" why would you rent a unit with a potential fire hazard to a family with three small children? and they knew about it! We had to leave our unit and disrupting our children's nap time. Keep in mind this is an infant and a young toddler while they fix the outlet after I told them they had to wait until we left. When talking to the property manager they told me that they were considering this an emergency situation to which I replied. Then why did you rent us the unit if you knew about it. They then said it wasn't a big deal and the guy was out fast enough. Very poor communication and very poor customer service. If you pay attention to the negative comments on this place, you will see a lot of the same. Poor communication and not good customer service. Of course the location is fantastic but I would never stay here again unless it was run by a different property company. All of this said and done. They said that they would reimburse us for one day and the pack and play that would come out to $250. When it was all said and done. They reimbursed us $200 and then ignored all my messages. They refused to pay for the full amount.

Great location

Cosy place with a nice atmosphere. Kitchen included everything needed. Superb location right by the beach. Good bed.

Safe was broken, the bathroom door had no handle inside. In general this apartment could use a fresh layer of paint and having some basic maintenance done. The cleaning staff left the gate open constantly.

Great vacation location by the water, a lot of space, could see also dolphins from the balcony

Great location by the ocean. We had a big balcony and wonderful view on the ocean and sunset, we saw the dolphins and surfers also from the balcony. We had 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen with all necessary equipment. Carlsbad city is walking distance. Very good Carlsbad Premium Outlets in close driving distance. Parking place for the car. Laundry washing and drying possibility on the property. Good location between San Diego and Los Angeles. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed at Villa 8!

Nothing to complain. In case something, then that our stay was too short.

All about the location

Excellent facilities and superb location. Plenty of space.

Let down by some small things, like a broken safe and a very shaky, noisy bed. Also only 4 hangers in an enormous wardrobe!

It is now our new to go place in Carlsbad.

It was close to everything. Well maintained and in front of the beach.

I wish you offered more coffee pods. There was zero sugar or creamer for the coffee. That sucked.

View of the Ocean - porch; 2 bedrooms and 2 baths; equipped well (maybe add a pot - had pans); living space upstairs; bedrooms size good; friendly staff; would rent again; we didn't use the pool - but nice there was one for families to enjoy; felt safe - nice wall around the complex, a coded gate to enter, and grateful for the overhang for our parked car.

1) - the upstairs toilet - didn't refill in the tank - not flushable - and it made a loud humming noise - we tried to call and report it - it was Sunday when we checked in - no answer on the emergency #, and no one in office until Tuesday - reported it to a housecleaner on Monday. Got a hold of someone in the office (Jenna) on Tuesday - repaired by Tuesday mid-afternoon. thanks! 2) - the low chairs on the patio - believe it would have been a better view with bar height table and chairs 3) - might be nice to have a lounge chair on the patio 4) - The wire chairs at the dining table. old and uncomfortable.

Great location and value for amenities. Balcony view was tremendous and proximity to beach and eateries was unbeatable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will stay here again.

Toilets were kind of small and bed was not super comfortable.

Disappointing. Expected more for this price.

The location was great. Wifi strength was sufficient.

Location was about the only thing going for this property. The furnishings were run down uncomfortable and not accommodating for the five of us even though this was rated for six occupants, and the decor low was poor quality and a mishmash of random things. The oven had a horrible odor when it heated up so we decided to only use it once, the TVs were very small by today’s standard, the limited supply of TP was even poor quality. There were broken floor/stair tiles, rusty metal (railings, stove, light switches, etc), cheap laminate floors in living/sleeping areas with thin rugs, etc. The master mattress was also super worn with two permanent pronounced body depressions. The paper towel holder was serrated and sharp and ended up cutting two in our party. In all, the place was dingy and needs a top to bottom refinish to address the warped cabinets, outdated everything, and worn down paint and trim.

I loved the location it was close to everything.

Love the location it was right on the beach. It was close to everything. Only a ten minute drive to the flower fields as well.

My villa was really small but it was the studio villa. I would choose a different one next time. But, I would stay here again

The location could not be better, particularly for the price. The accommodations were every bit as good as I anticipated based on ratings.

Minor things, like the sinks both leaked from the faucets and I didn't use the bathroom sink at all because it left a lake on the floor. Key a little tricky in the door but it always worked eventually!

I'd come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom unit that had a great balcony with view. Front office staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is across the street, restaurants, bars, shops are easily walkable.

They were renovating the top-floor penthouse and I think letting guests know about it would have been helpful. No napping with all the noise, that's for sure!

Good place and close to everything but if your looking for quiet I wouldn’t recommend

the location to the beach and walking distance to the village is great. lots of good neighborhood restaurants within walking distance

it is really noisy the laundry was outside our windows. The staff was refinishing furniture with power sanders early in the morning. It sounded like the people above us had a dog that they were playing fetch with in the middle of the night. you could hear the ball bounce and the dog running after it. This wasn’t the properties fault just really inconsiderate people

The location was amazing! Easy access to the beach and beautiful views. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the apartment was rather run down. TV in two rooms did not work. Kitchen sink did not run off. Bathrooms were old, especially the toilets. Lots of chipped tile, scuffed furniture, and not super clean.

It was very clean, the location was great, and the beds were extremely comfy.

The main shower would not drain, needed more kitchen items like fry pan and some bakeware, and though the decor was very nice, the basics like cupboards and shower stalls could use updated.

My family and I had a great time! The view was beautiful. The Villa was clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed, it felt just like home. The beach was right next door we loved sitting on the balcony listing to the waves and watching the sun set. Kelly was so helpful checking us out. We will definitely will be returning.
