We really had a great time and were lucky to have found such a wonderful place to stay!

Hilltop was in a great location, so we could walk to almost everything we wanted to do in Newport. The staff was very friendly/communicative and the room was beautiful as well as very clean. We were out and about a lot, so we didn't really see anyone around the inn while we were there, which felt like we were able to stay in this big beautiful home by ourselves. It looked like there were about four rooms total for guests, and our room (the Murray room) was set up very well tucked away to the side with gorgeous decor as well as a very spacious bathroom. The dining areas, living room, and game room were cozy and had a lot to offer guests even though we didn't have a lot of time to spend downstairs. We heard other guests from time to time from our room, but it was only near the door/hallway. We wished we could have spent more time getting to know the staff and other guests there, but we just had too much to explore around town! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!

Being November when we visited, it was chilly in our room now and then, but the lovely fireplace warmed us up!

Came here for a family wedding and everything we needed was at Hilltop Inn. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere from start to finish. Breakfast was lovely and the 2 ladies were very helpful telling us where to visit. I would recommend this Hotel to everyone thanks.

Our room was so lovely and comfortable. The location is great and we walked to restaurants and activities. Michelle was very welcoming and accommodating and made us a nice breakfast. Jacuzzi tub and fireplace were welcome amenities.

Disappointing accomodations for the price

Carpet worn and dirty, most of the blinds were broken, tiny grimy bathroom, mediocre breakfast. on the last morning of the stay the only option was to eat breakfast in our room, but we had only had a single desk to place the food where my wife ate and so I consumed my cold cereal while standing up.

The Hilltop Inn is a sumptuous dream, close to everything, and aesthetically unparalleled.

I love the Hilltop Inn because the host, Liz McDonnell, is a lovely person. She helps me feel at home. It’s also a beautiful Inn; by far my favorite in Newport.

There’s nothing I don’t like about the Hilltop Inn. It’s both a peaceful and elegant accommodation.

Excellent

We are long time visitors to Newport. So glad to have found our new favorite B and B. Everything was just perfect. Looking forward to coming back with the whole family.

Cant beat quality and class.

Staff were great. Breakfast in the AM was high quality. Loved the balcony in the kay room and the close proximity to everything.
