Enjoy our stay very much.
Quiet neighborhood.
Bathroom door on main floor would not lock. Refrigerator leaked on the floor.

The place was nice and quiet but there were alittle hiccups(Beds). The place is close to the Unicoi Park and the town.
The place is spacious and close to town.
The beds were uncomfortable. Bed was broken and sinks down when you lay/sit down, other than that kids had fun.

Pleasant
The property was really nice and it was an overall pleasant stay. The house was well stocked with dishes and utensils, towels, garbage bags, sponges and hygiene products. My children loved the pool and ping pong tables.
The property definitely had some flaws. The driveway to get to it is terrible, it's honestly terrifying to go up and the gravel at the bottom needs to be evened out really badly. I drive a large SUV and there was a spot where my car bottomed out because it's so uneven and my tires spun out. The comforter on our bed has a giant dark brown crusty stain on it, and had clearly had not been washed. One of the couches in the basement had a broken leg that had been propped up to make it look like it was intact (I assume this was done by a previous guest and the host just didn't notice so I wasn't too concerned about this) and the house definitely needs to be dusted in the less used areas.

False advertisement of ammenities
The view was beautiful and it was very private.
It was advertised that a pool table was in the game room/basement which is why we chose this location over others. We wanted to play pool and enjoy the quiet while our children played boardgames. No pool table was at the location as shown in the photos and in the description. The house smelled bad and stains were on all the carpets. A big door in the basement was locked which made the location feel very "uncomfortable" as it could have very well been a living space. The description prepared us for a "country driveway" which was pretty standard, the problem is the "hairpin" turn to get out with a tree blocking the turn for a 4 wheel drive truck that is required to exit. We stayed about 10 minutes and left-we ended up at a quality in down the street.

Despite the constructive feedback we enjoyed ourselves, thank you.
Being able to use a key code to enter upon arrival was convenient. We enjoyed having a house to ourselves over a hotel. We enjoyed the space available, with 3.5 bathrooms there was no need to share, the cabin/ house is secluded thus privacy from neighbors is great. We enjoyed the ability to go for runs/walks with our dog. Having a full kitchen to do our own cooking saved money. Having a washer & dryer allowed us to go home with clean clothes. The drive into Helen and surrounding forestry hiking is great. The HOT-tub (the temp is perhaps a bit too high) for sore muscles after hiking was great.
This cannot be changed but the driveway is scary steep so anyone renting needs to be aware. The beds were not comfortable, bed linens were also not comfortable, the pool table needs to be thrown away, a new hot water heater that can accommodate as many guest as the house sleeps or at least in our case four people needs to be installed. The couches are very short and so well used that they’re not comfortable.
