The perfect location meets a fabulous view in a comfortable, clean historic motor lodge.

The views from the balcony are stunning! The room is very comfortable! We appreciated that this was a vintage motor lodge; love that history about the property!

Fabulous stay, just as expected.

Location. The hotel is right in the heart of the town, walking distance to many restaurants. For clarity this is pretty much a motel, albeit a very nice one. I like having the capsule coffee machine, Kuerig I think it's called. Comfie bed, nice shower, and a balcony overlooking the town and hills beyond. Great to sit outside and watch the world go by. Excellent friendly check-in, and explanation of parking should the hotel spaces be full. Best of all, you're in Sedona. This wasn't my visit visit to the Matterhorn, and hopefully it won't be my last. Don't be put off by the 8 rating, I'm a harsh marker.

The price, but that's Sedona prices, it's typically an expensive place.

Excellent Stay

Staff was very welcoming and available to help with anything. They have a water bottle filling station and offered snack bars to take on hikes. Easy parking. Location with view was beautiful.

Der Poolbereich liess sich am Morgen nur mit dem Reception Schlüssel öffnen.

Die Unterkunft war neu renoviert und lag zentral in Sedona. Es war sauber, das Personal überaus freundlich. Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, kleiner Balkon mit Bergblick, alles wie beschrieben. Sehr ruhig. Gerne wieder.👍👍

We had a wonderful stay in sedona and will be back. If this home is available we would stay again.

We stayed in the villa,which was a beautiful home in a quiet location. The home was imacculate.It had beautiful views and was walking distance to uptown.

The water pressure in shower could have been a bit stronger. It would have been nice to have a few items in kitchen like,creamers,sugar and some spices. Maybe coffee, tea and water.

We’d definitely stay there again.

Room had great Mountain View and opened to the outside, no elevators and long hallways. Very clean and modern. Location perfect.

Fantastic location in the centre of the action!

Fantastic location in the town of Sedona, close to the shops and restaurants, with beautiful views from the balcony towards the red rocks. Tasteful decor and a lovely rainfall shower, a treat after some of the typical American showers we'd encountered! Staff very friendly and helpful, we had difficulty finding a place to park on arrival (the hotel have some spots of their own at the front of the hotel, as well as a number in the public car park across from the hotel) and the man at the reception desk (the manager?) allowed us to park directly in front of the hotel entrance (not really a space!). He was also very helpful with suggestions on places to eat. The grab and go breakfast was fine for us, we grabbed some fruit - bananas, apples - plus yoghurts and breakfast bars and ate them on the balcony with tea/coffee before we left We were able to leave our car parked at the hotel whilst we did the Pink Jeep tour in the morning which was handy. Overall would definitely recommend

Convenient location, kind staff, comfortable rooms

Great views, very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast was small but covered the bases. Rooms were comfortable and clean!

Lobby didn’t open until 8 so we were unable to grab coffee until then.

Very good aside from other guests with no consideration

The room , the staff and the location were all very good.And the pool and hot tub first class. Very well looked after.

The noisy neighbour who had a tv blasting at 5 am.

A really lovely stay

The recently refurbished rooms are delightful. Comfortable and well appointed. The view is incredible We were going to check out before the grab-and-go breakfast started, so Eddie bagged up various breakfast items for us to take away the night before.

Overall, this property is terrific and will recommend the Matterhorn to others.

Breakfast was adequate ….the 8-10 two hour window was an issue. Coffee was good and nice to have a fruit option.

Prima hotel op handige locatie met fantastisch uitzicht

Fantastische locatie midden in Sedona met uitzicht op de bergen. Vriendelijk personeel. Bij de receptie kun je 's ochtends koffie, water (ook voor je waterfles), fruit, yoghurt, granola en snacks pakken.

Als je midden in het stadje logeert, hoor je natuurlijk wel eens wat geluid. Zo ook hier.

Loved this place in Sedona

The view from the room. The balcony. The size of the room. Well refurbished. Location at end of strip ideal. We will definitely stay hear again.

No breakfast. Sedona is very pricey and having to venture out for breakfast wasnt ideal but not a deal breaker since we loved this boutique hotel.

Very comfortable room in a great location

The mattress, pillow and sheets were all super comfy and soft. The rainshower was hot and excellent. Location was perfect in uptown with free parking out back. Even the view was wonderful. And the people were all very friendly and helpful.

Motor Inn Revival

Warm and personable welcome by employees. Modern yet retro-inspired room in a cool updated building with history. Excellent view while sitting on the balcony. The shower. Odd to say, but it was a great shower.

Super trivial, but the lower patio is ugly to look at from above and made big, bland patches in my photos that were hard to edit out while still keeping the cool, old motor inn sign in the frame. And that I could only afford one night there. But I'll be back some day.

Sedona is a must see & traffic can be bad so being able to walk to restaurants & stores was a plus.

We had a mountain view which was amazing. Almost too sunny in the morning to sit on the balcony but the evening was perfect.

The bed was on a platform that kept on sliding.

We were pleasantly suprised with the beauty, comfort and size of our room.

The location was so perfect! It was central, easy to get around the town. The view was exceptional!!!!! Waking up every morning to the mountains was to die for! The room was just the right size for two. The balcony was great to sit outside and watch the world go by. The jacuzzi and pool were so romantic and clean. Towels were there and we managed several times to have it all to ourselves. The use of Beekman products was a pleasant suprise. We will definitely stay at the Matterhorn again...

This may sound petty, but the only complaint I have is that the tissue paper was a cheap brand. If you could step that up to the real Kleenex brand--
