About this cabin rental

Quaint Rustic One of A Kind Waterfront Cabin on the shores of Twin Lakes Idaho. If you have never been to this part of the country you are in for a treat!

Located on the secluded, tree-lined side of Twin Lakes, Idaho, this home is in a quiet neighborhood but is also close to town and close to a Really Awesome Golf Course. That means you will be able to sleep peacefully without the noises of city living, but still be within a quick trip to restaurants or grocery store.

This cozy little cabin comfortably sleeps four people, though up to 6 guests may stay here. The large living area has plenty of space for everyone to sit and busy themselves with different activities, whether they prefer to watch Netflex, a DVD or VHS movie, play a provided board game, or just sit and enjoy the view. Please note that WiFi is available in this home.

The full kitchen has all the appliances and tools you may need to cook up a meal for everyone, and it even has a waffle iron in case you want something special for breakfast.

Two bedrooms have queen-size beds, one bedroom has two twin beds. Outside, a large, grassy yard gently slopes downward toward 95 feet of sandy shore of the lake and your private dock. This area is great for boating, swimming, kayaking and fishing for Salmon, Trout and Bass either in a boat or right off the dock and is so beautiful that you may prefer to sit on the deck (complete with patio furniture and a gas grill) and watch the wind ripple gently over the surface of the lake.

This home would be a perfect place to spend some time relaxing with your loved ones while enjoying the lake. Twin Lakes is exactly that, has two lakes to explore. An upper lake and a lower an upper and lower lake. Northern Idaho has many amazing outdoor activity options, such as hiking and biking trails, golfing, and a variety of lakes, plus Coeur d'Alene is only 20 miles south, so you may want to take a quick day trip into a larger town for even more choices. Silverwood Theme Park is only 15 minutes away, which is 100 acres of family fun, boasting the worlds longest wooden roller coasters and a giant water park! The park transforms itself into "Scareywood Haunted theme park" during the month of October for a spooky fun Halloween experience.

With a one-of-a-kind layout and plenty of space for everyone to spread out, this lakefront home is an amazing place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Kayaks and Canoe provided for your enjoyment!

Beautiful cabin that felt more like a home than a rental. Owners thought of everything with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. They did a beautiful job of preserving an old cabin with its charm but adding modern comforts. The back and kayaks were wonderful and we spent a lot of time sitting in the chairs on the dock.

Very quiet and beautiful. The VRBO app wasn’t working well so text messages worked much better. No fault of the property owner, just the actual VRBO app.

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. Fully stocked with everything we needed, clean, comfortable. Beautiful location and lake. Spent days on/in the lake and a fun day at Silverwood. We would def recommend and hope to be back!

We really enjoyed our visit. The cabin is rustic but very comfortable and clean. The one bathroom only was hard at times BUT we spent lots of time enjoying the outdoors and local water park. The location, private dock, water toys and fully loaded kitchen made up for it. I can't say enough about the location. It was so easy to get to everything we wanted to do. The hosts are also super helpful and very nice. FYI. All bedrooms have doors and even with a walk through bedroom we had very comfortable sleeping arrangements. We will be back next summer!

This is wonderful location, comfy beds, great kitchen. The deck has great views! However, the cabin floors were uneven, rough and slanted. Our child cut her foot on the rough cement in front of the fireplace. The steps leading down into the kitchen were, again, uneven and poorly marked.Fortunately no one cut their foot on the 15 or more rusty nails we picked up off the beach. The water pressure in the shower was so low it was impossible to rinse one's hair. The water in the washer was hot even though the dial said cold/cold. I contacted the owner about the water issues early in our stay. I heard from them three days after I checked out. My advice--go to TwinLakes! But book another spot.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, but it was definitely more rustic than we expected. The good: the dock, provided kayaks and the lake view are superb. The house is well stocked with basics! We spent as much time as possible outside and on the dock. The kids swam and swam and swam, the parents enjoyed the dock chairs. We were told by the owners a few days before arrival that water pressure was a known issue. It was nearly impossible to shower with the trickle of water coming from the shower. Not the owners fault, but made the stay less comfortable for sure. I didn’t know (or perhaps didn’t read details) that one of the bedrooms is a walkthrough room which made using the bathroom at night challenging, as you are trying not to wake the people in the walkthrough room up. Again, not the owners fault but I guess I didn’t pay close enough attention. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and feel completely refreshed!

We had a great time, the cabin was fun and had great charm. The location was excellent and the lake was great for swimmingly, and kayaking with provided boats. A nice way to unwind at the end of summer.
