Recommended for short-medium stays in Chania

Very well positioned, cleaned room with all necessary facilities (hairdryer, courtesy kit, tissue, kettle with teas,...). Staff at front desk was very nice. Parking available. Breakfast was super!!

A fantastic stay at Porto Veneziano

Very kind and helpful staff, specially Yiota and Katerina. Small but very comfortable and cosy room (bed and bathroom were great). Restaurant in the hotel, very good. The location, in the port, near old town and everything by walk(restaurants, shops,...)

Difficult to park.

Hôtel très bien placé pour rester à La Canee

L'emplacement, au bord du port, le personnel très aimable, le parking et le petit déjeuner.

Les chambres manquaient un peu d'espace. Il manque un peu de verdure.

Lovely comfortable hotel, great breakfast and great staff.

Breakfast was very good. Lovely views of the sea . The staff were very helpful. Car park around the back of the hotel . Limited spaces.

The hotel was right at the end of the harbour so quite a long walk to the old town over a cobbled street, so for people who have problems walking it may be an issue. Market day on a Saturday which makes it very busy to reach the hotel.

Very good hotel

We had wonderful 3nights in Porto Veneziano hotel. Rooms were very clean (bit small but was not a problem), service was exellent, location superb but breakfast was the best part! Will definetly come again! Deservers more stars than 3!

Our stay was extremely comfortable and pleasant, as were all the staff! We really loved the hotel.

The location was phenomenal; the free breakfast was superb; and the staff was extremely kind and helpful.

No complaints!! But the only expectation that didn’t come to fruition was our balcony view- We thought it would be a frontal view of the water but it was facing an alley way. We had to stick our heads over the edge to see the water.

I believe that there is better accommodation in the old town but overall it’s a nice hotel

the location is great and the place is clean and nicely decorated

the size of the room reminded me the easy hotel in Amsterdam! They are very small! The breakfast area is also very small!

Nice marina view.

Nice semi-obstructed view of the marina from 312. Good breakfast and room service.

I wish I had been in room tiers 04 through 09 with more direct views of the marina.

Maria and Helen were very helpful during booking, also very welcoming. The central location of the hotel and the parking lot are a big plus. The aristocratic style of the hotel was pleasant. It was extremely clean. The view from the balcony rooms was superb. The room was large enough and ergonomic. The most obvious sign that they care about their customers was the black out curtains on the windows. Good design. I am impressed. They have a wide variety of options for breakfast and they serve it privately. (I didn't find the pastries very tasty.) Overall experience was very good. I hope to come again. Thanks ..

Pretty much everything - very friendly team that succeeds in creating a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, The rooms are nice with a breathtaking view of the Venetian Port. Not too big to be honest, but spacious enough to feel at ease. The á la carte breakfast is excellent, the best hotel breakfast I have had so far in Greece. Everything is prepared fresh - a welcome upgrade to any buffet breakfast. The location is hard to beat: in the city center, directly at the port, but 10 minutes away from the busy (and sometimes noisy) pubs and bars. The hotel restaurant is also a good option for dinner

A really comfortable and friendly hotel in Old Chania Port.

We have stayed at this lovely hotel several times. It enjoys a prime location right on the harbourfront in old Chania with particularly fine sunset views and loads of nearby tavernas. The staff are just so charming and helpful. The gorgeous breakfasts taken outdoors each morning are a real treat.

Perfect hotel, perfect location!

It took me a long time to pick a hotel in Chania, and I'm the kind of person who second guesses every decision I make. But this was perfect! Don't hesitate to book this hotel. It was beautifully clean, and has every facility you could want. The bathrooms were gorgeous, the beds were comfortable. I paid a little more for the sea view, and that was an awesome decision. The view of the harbor is breathtaking, and the sunsets are out of this world. We enjoyed every breakfast we had during our trip, but the breakfasts at this hotel were spectacular. It was a full-service breakfast, with anything your heart desired, and my 22-year-old son never looked happier! The wait staff were honestly the nicest, most helpful we encountered anywhere. Obviously the setting was stunning too. Sitting on the terrace, looking at the harbor lighthouse really couldn't be any better. We were there in October, but clearly this is the quieter end of the strip. We found it peaceful but right in the heart of things, an easy walk to everything in town. The hotel staff went out of their way to help us with everything. They helped us rent a car, book, a trip, and managed to find us a room for an extra night which saved us a lot of hassle. They were just so helpful. If I were to take off half a star it would be because the room was tiny. It didn't matter to us at all, but if you need space, you might want a different room. On the last night we didn't have the sea view, which was fine, but my advice is to get a sea view! Stay here!

Excellent service in a wonderful location

The room, although quite small, was nicely furnished and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent with a good walk-in shower. The balcony gave a fantastic view over the harbour. The breakfast menu gave a good range of choice and was served by the harbour side. All the staff were very friendly and professional.
