A magical stay that we thoroughly enjoyed!

Lovely hotel. Rooms are decorated in a modern style. The hotel itself is a traditional building with stunning views over Bergamo. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and set in the relaxed outdoor area, again with stunning views. Definitely 10/10 and I would like to return!

Veel beter kan niet!

Personeel is enorm behulpzaam, vriendelijk en maakt hier het verschil. Kamers zijn luxe ingericht, netjes, schoon en ruim genoeg. Het eten bij het restaurant is uitstekend. Het hotel heeft een parkeerplaats voor hotelgasten, erg goed geregeld. Het hotel grenst aan het oude centrum, als uitvalsbasis om deze te verkennen is dit dus super.

Dit hotel zou van ons een 10 krijgen wanneer het hotel een wellness en zwembad zou hebben. Verder, wat ons betreft geen verbeterpunten

Der Aufenthalt hat sich gelohnt.

Die Lage ist sehr gut und auch die Parkplätze sind ausreichend, Die Altstadt ist zu Fuss sehr schnell erreichbar und hat eine grosse Auswahl an Restaurants.

Excepcional. Hotel maravilhoso, instalações muito boas, quarto muito confortável e casa de banho muito aconchegante. Toda equipa que faz o Le Funi Hotel é impecável, acolhedores, atenciosos e sempre dispostos a oferecer o melhor serviço. O pequeno almoço é muito bom, repleto de variedades de frutas, iogurte natural delicioso, queijos e presuntos muito saborosos, os pães de fermentação natural são deliciosos. O mel servido é da melhor qualidade. O serviço do pequeno almoço é mesmo impecável, agradecimento especial ao Bledi que gentilmente nos recepcionou com muito carinho. Também não podemos deixar de dizer sobre a localização, uma localização fantástica, mesmo a pouquíssimos passos do centro histórico, ao lado do funiculare. O Estacionamento próprio é algo que faz muita diferença quando viajamos de carro. Quero agradecer a simpatia da recepcionista que agora não sei vos dizer o nome, muito atencioso e educada. Parabéns a toda equipa que sabe fazer do ambiente uma estadia feliz e agradável.

Better than expected, hoped for or imagined.

Le Funi hotel is beautiful. The location is exceptionally placed for accessing Bergamo with a direct bus from the airport. We were delighted with the friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere. The room was wonderfully clean and well made with more than enough space for the two of us.

The only minor point that could be improved is the cleaning staff start between 07:30 and seemed to start under our room every morning waking us. The bells are also fairly loud in the morning but this is to be expected!

Komfortables Hotel am Rande der Altstadt

Sehr komfortables Hotel am Rande der Altstadt. Schöne Zimmer und sehr geräumiges Bad. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Luogo fantastico

Camera ultra moderna e molto accogliente. Posizione ottima, si raggiunge il centro facilmente. Lo staff impeccabile, colazione buona, magnifica terrazza. Letti comodissimi. Bagno grande con ampia doccia.

Solo da segnalare per chi ha problemi di sonno che l'albergo è molto vicino alla funicolare di San Vigilio, quindi si sente il rumore quando passa. Comunque ultima corsa prima della mezzanotte, si dorme tranquillamente.

Great location, delicious breakfast, lovely staff

Great location, a couple of minutes walk to the old town centre. Breakfast was amazing, great choice of sweet and savoury items and the option to order freshly squeezed juice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and let us leave our car in the parking after we'd checked out so we could explore around before coming home. We also had our room upgraded free of charge, a lovely surprise. There is also an outside area which would be great in summer, unfortunately during our stay it was raining 😅

Someone in the room above sounded like the were moving around furniture and banging things around at 6am even though the hotel policy states that quiet time is until 7am. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel, you could find inconsiderate people wherever you go.

100% best place to stay in Bergamo. Location is excellent with beautiful views. Room modern and comfortable- shower was great. Staff were really friendly and keen to help. One particular staff member on reception during our stay who checked us in and gave us detailed information was outstanding.

This hotel is a no go.

The hotel is not far from the old town, a 5-minute walk away. You can reserve a parking lot at the hotel for a fee.

It has never happened to us anywhere that the two rooms reserved for my family were not close to each other as requested. They were at two different ends of the hotel. When we complained about this at reception, they told us they were fully booked and couldn't do anything about it. We asked in advance for quiet rooms facing the courtyard. None of the rooms faced the courtyard, but they did face the street. The road in front of the hotel is not busy, but it is stony and steep, with noisy motorbikes driving here until late at night. The noise from the cable car was known to us in advance through the guest reviews, but we only found out on site that this noise lasts into the night and comes every 15 minutes. The rooms have been renovated and the furnishings are modern. But the windows are old, do not close properly and have only two layers of glass. Therefore, the noise from the surroundings comes into the rooms undisturbed. The breakfast is very very modest and boring. This hotel is not worth the price you have to pay for it.

The view from the terrace is lovely. The lights at night too and the location is quite convenient .

Several things didn’t work in our room. The toilet flush was broken and loosing water, the shower drainer didn’t work and the extra bed mattress was super hard.

Beautiful setting and very relaxing.

Great location. Near to everything in Cite Alta but also quiet. Room was comfortable and spacious. The staff, without exception, were very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Marta who went over and above to help us with some complicated transportation issues and was utterly lovely when I wasn’t very well. Thank you.

Breakfast was a bit limited.

Bergamo delight

Amazing hotel in the lovely Citta Alta Bergamo. Close to the funicular, which is lovely (in some rooms you can just hear it rumble by but not an issue). Rooms lovely with all amenities and some have great views. Breakfast fantastic. Staff excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended!!

There is a short steep hill for the last 50m or so, that may be an issue for some people. Walks off a few of the pizza calories!

An oasis in Bergamo

Peaceful haven after Milan. Warm welcome and lovely rooms with comfortable beds, mini fridge with reasonable priced drinks, kettle and brilliant shower. Breakfast outside in July under the shaded terrace was perfect and a great selection. All staff excellent. Location close to the funicular to the upper town. It is up a short but steep hill. It's only a short walk from the town for restaurants and the bus to/from the airport. Also great views from the hotel!

Not really a bar there now, although you could get drinks from a fridge near reception. But not really a problem as mini bar reasonably priced and areas outside to sit and enjoy.
