Huge expectations but very disappointing

The location was great for Victoria Falls visits. It was super close to Shoprite. And when we got there the desk clerk helped me order food because my phone wouldn't connect to wifi. The night clerk was very friendly

The mosquitos were so bad that we didn't stay 2 nights as planned. The mosquito nets were so small my daughter and I didn't fit under them...becoming a meal for all to come. My husband didn't fit on the bed so he was tore up. You would think if they knew people were coming they would've sprayed and prepared the room.

No electricity, lots of mosquitoes, and very disappointing breakfast.

The lodge has a good location close to the main street in the town. It is easy to find.

Lots of mosquitoes in the room. The dining area and continental breakfast is extremely disappointing. Food is bad. Service is OK, the people are friendly but a bit slow and often forget what you asked them.

Best lodge in Livingstone with lovely staff and a fantastic location!

Amazing staff that are always there to help you with anything! From organising activities, to getting taxi's or ordering food, they are always there to for you (even if there's a big spider in your room, Emmanuel is always there to chase all unwanted small visitors out!) I could not thank them enough for everything they did for us and how well they helped us settle. The rooms are spacious, with comfy beds, clean bathrooms and AC. The cleaners often offered to clean our room and change the bedding too. Our room also had a small fridge which was very good for keeping cool drinks and fruit. The lodge has mosquito nets on every window so we avoided getting bitten and no flies around either. All communal areas of the lodge were cleaned daily by staff. The lodge's location is perfect, a 15 or 20 minute drive from most of the activities and very close to Victoria Falls, just a short walk from the nearest bars and shopping centre. The place was very quiet and peaceful at all times, we really enjoyed sitting outside by the fountain, watching the fish and dragonflies, and resting after our activities. We both felt very welcome and the lodge was so nice that we extended our stay till the end of our holiday! The perfect place for a couple, an individual or a family. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a quiet lodge with welcoming staff, lovely surroundings and a good location.

Pleasent stay cleanliness could be better

The staff on the desk are kind and helpful at recommending places. Location wise the hotel is central, shops and restaurants all around. Breakfast is included. Air con in rooms. Cute thatched roof. Cheaper than alot of options around so if you want a cheaper stay then it is pleasant.

There were lots of mosquitoes when we visited in May and the windows were not great for keeping them out. My room smelt like smoke not sure if it was the bedding or mosquito net. The towels they first gave was stained and older but they did change for a nice fluffy towel. We couldn't make the first night of our stay i called and let them know and they said they wouldn't charge us but on checkout they charged us all nights because we had to change on booking.com but they didn't tell me that when i called or when i checked in.
