For the location and the staff, it was a great place to stay!

staff , location and free offering of beach chairs and umbrella. Hotel is right on beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Superb

Staff were excellent. Massimo spoke great English and the girls doing breakfast, cleaning etc were super friendly and did a fantastic job with the laundry at super prices.

A relaxing stay by the beach

The location by the beach, the relaxing atmosphere in the garden.

The bathroom could be upgraded, especially the shower.

A most agreeable site with great potential.

The hotel location was superb with sea view, private garden and adjacent beach. The personnel were friendly and helpful. Nearby restaurants included the Sunset Beach Club, which was truly outstanding.

The room was in urgent need of repair. The shower was corroded with missing parts, and difficult to operate. There were no inserts in the wash basin drains, which required care in not losing personal items. The refrigerator and the hair dryer were inoperable. The safe was sitting on a shelf with broken attachments. Breakfast was very basic and unappetising.

Superb

When you enter this grand old villa it's like stepping back in time. The proximity to the beach is a huge bonus. The bed was very comfortable and the hospitality was very warm and welcoming.

The only (small) negative is that the wifi didn't really work in the room.

Dissapointing

There was mould at the back of the side table , white spores. I was not feeling well after the third day cough, sore throat . Could not understand why , i am a nurse by the way. It was no until the last day we went to charge up our phone at a plug socket behind the chest of draws my husband noticed this. Such a shame as we had been here before and thoroughly enjoyed it. There needs to be a bit of updating on the rooms to bring them up to liveable standards.

Nice place to stay

Very close to the beach. The building is formerly a private villa. Only 10 rooms. Very nicely appointed with an Old World flair. Private parking.

The breakfast did not include eggs.

With some sprucing up villa Giada could be a jewel! Great location right on a gorgeous beach.

Breakfast was nothing special, just the basics.

Given we booked the last night that they were open before closing for the season , the b&b was operating at a bare minimum. Everything looked tired, the place needs to be spruced up. Our room had no window to open , just the bathroom. We would have to have left the door open, no screen, who knows what crawls in in the middle of the night. Small bed, and a closed in room lead to a claustrophobic feeling. Didn’t get much sleep and we were happy to be quickly on our way in the morning.

Your new favorite beachside spot!

Villa Giada is a small paradise on Earth! We stayed here last year on our honeymoon and had to come back this year as well. The garden is beautiful and provides a much-appreciated cool break from the heat of the beach, which is literally at your doorstep. The breakfast is also delightful, with a great selection of both sweet and savory treats plus good Italian coffee. Oh and you get amazing views of the Stromboli at sunset from the balconies on the upper floor.

The wifi connection is a little choppy in some areas of the property, but if you’ve come to relax and unplug (ad you should) it should not be a big deal.

Perfect beach location,in a laid back Villa

The Villa is directly on to the beach via a nice green garden.The owner very helpful we arrived early and it was no problem,gave us breakfast until our room was ready.His recommendation of the next door restaurant,Lido Tropicana was spot on our best meal in Italy so far waited upon by Enzo.

Great experience in Tropea

Great location, it is 50 meters from the beach and sea and a 10-15 minutes walk from the center of Tropea. We stayed in the separate apartment, which is great if you want additional privacy as well, it has a kitchen and standard fridge, good if you travel with kids. Host and staff very helpful and friendly. Water was fantastic, beach is a mix of sand and stones, same in the sea, the sea is quite deep after the first 20-30 meters.

Perhaps some small renovations needed, however it is all part of the experience :)

Water sprinklers would go off many times at night and would make so much noise they’d wake you up every night.

The stay was just perfect!

The setting was perfect- right on the beach. The staff and accommodations were wonderful. Great breakfast was served by the staff.

Superb

This was a great place to stay. Located at bottom of cliff with the beach just out the back gate. Lovely setting. Room was spacious with very high ceilings and large double doors to patio overlooking garden. Breakfast was served on back patio and was very good with a large selection of items.

Superb

The property is literally on the beach which is fantastic . The breakfast is really yummy . We loved our stay here peaceful and relaxing . Recommend it for a relaxing beach holiday and short walk into town with a step climb ❤️
