Everything was great. We have a good time there and also decided to stay longer. Hotel was good, Central, very Clean, staff very very friendly and welcoming. You are very Close to rhez heart of Genova City and train Station Brignole. Grazie. See you soon

Superb

The hotel is very central, the train station, harbour and the city center are all within walking distance, which was amazing. The rooms are very spacious and clean which made our stay very comfortable. The communication with the hosts was very good and they were really friendly, they even send us a forgotten item all the way to Germany, which we're really grateful for. All in all we can totally recommend this place if you're looking for something cheap, comfortable and central!

Too noisy, it’s rather a busy hostel than a small hotel.

Great location

Noise. We had to ask the host to speak with the other guests in the next room as they were singing to music at midnight. The next night we were listening to a baby’s cry, then to Thomas, the train for an hour. Same happened at around 6am.

Excellent place, few minutes away from train station. Reception was very nice and welcoming. Place is clean, comfortable.

The neighbours were loud, we could hear people from other floors singing/talking even after midnight.

The staff at Hotel Barone could not have been more helpful! They were incredibly accommodating with early checkins, bus station help, and baggage storage after checking out. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely stay :)

Incredible Staff, very helpful, we could even take a shower at some common showers hours after check-out. Very fast internet for home-office.

We had to leave the key at the reception for cleaning. Feels like they didn't have second keys

Great location but kind of weird

Location is good, beds were ok, warm water in the showers

Everyone had to leave their keys to the lobby when they left the building which made us feel really uncomfortable. We felt like we were being watched over. When we arrived we were told that we have to get back to the hotel before midnight because the front door of the building closes at midnight. There was no mention about this in the site of the hotel. We were able to negotiate about the terms and they gave us the keys to the front door and we were also able to keep the key to our room to our selves. There was a safe in the room but it did not work.

This place has location, location, location. It's a one star hotel maybe but clean sheets, hot water.

Even though the staff is nice, this place is not worth the price tag.

Staff was very nice, and the location was excellent. Being next to the Brignole train station was very helpful during our stay. Also, the shower water was warm.

The wifi was very weak in our room, it would disconnect randomly, and was very slow at best. It occasionally stank of cigarette smoke in the room. The lights were very dim and cold. One night, it stank of sewer smell, and stayed that way until we told staff in the morning. That night, the shower in our room was also clogged. The atmosphere at the hotel was unsettling; there were stains on the blinds in the common bathroom, and the other guests were shady… Lastly, there was a used razor in our shower when we got to the room.

Nice Hotel with good location.

The room was very clean. Two beds apart and a shower in the room. Very private. We have to share the toilet, but we knew. The location was perfect. The centre was 20 minutes walk. Very nice!

It was very difficult to talk with the staff. The staff didn't understand us in English. The didn't know a lot of words, like covid test or check in etc. From a hotel in Genova you expect they can talk English.

Great location, kind staff, super-clean room with shower, luggage storage support

I couldn't close the window perfectly and mosquito entered to the room, but probably I just didn't know the right way to close it Overall I am satisfied with my stay
