Centrally located and spacious, a little noisy

Our room was nice and big, giving us lots of room to unpack our things. The bathroom had a lot of space as well for toiletries and the shower was good. There were extra pillows and the bed was huge - very comfy. As a thoughtful service the hotel also has towels specifically for visits to hot springs in the room so you don't need to worry about that. The location is excellent, in the middle of the city so you can easily get to great restaurants in the area on foot.

It was a little unclear up front where we could park. The listing said there was free parking in the area, but it's along the side of the road, where there is limited space and part of the time you do have to pay. The staff did help on this front though, there are two all-day free parking lots nearby, which was about a 5-10 minute walk but felt much safer than parking along the narrow street. And while the location was great and centrally located, nearby the best restaurants, the flip side of that coin was that it was quite noisy. Our room was facing the road on the first floor and the windows let in quite a bit of noise of passing cars and (in the middle of the night) rowdy tourists. This did wake us up in the middle of the night each night.

Clean room with nice view, comfy bed, nice pillow, great stuff.

We pre-ordered a separeted beds but there was only king size. We tried to showered at 10pm and 7am but water was... well somethning between cold and warm. Towels would be definetely softer It was harderst towels I ever get in hotel :-).

You guys made my stay in PDL very comfortable!!

Location, size of the room and the outdoor garden.

If I would have to put anything here, it would be that the towels are air dried and therefor very hard. And parking is a bit difficult and only free between 7PM and 8AM

Watch out, no parking

I thought the room was clean at least, before I found coackroach in the bathroom

THERE IS NO PARKING. We looked for an hotel with parking because we rented a car and in its description they say "public parking available" but it's a lie! The hotel is almost in the pedestrian area so that all parking is ft to charge but even if you're willing to pay his luck finding a free spot! The tenant speaks only portuguese but he was able to ask us for passports the moment we arrived, while we were literally climbing up the stairs with our baggage (after 15 minutes by foot from where we could park...) In our room there was no hook for the shower head so that taking a shower was really uncomfortable. The curtains inside the room moved to wind... with both windows and shutters closed. Meaning that the wind filters through gaps making a noise that prevented us from falling asleep. Finally, the last morning we find a coackroach the bathroom. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

the rooms are nice, bright and clean.

The road is quite loud if you are sensitive. The light from the hallway illuminated one of the rooms we stayed in at night which was quite disturbing

Great spot in a central location

Great place for our couple of days stay in Porta Delgada. It was spotlessly clean, had AC and we were impressed with the cunning washing lines for guest use. They made a triple room for our family, and kindly let us leave the luggage there after checkout on our last day while we made the most of our time in the town.

Beautiful rooms in the heart of Ponta Delgada

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Ponta Delgada. The rooms are already great, but they improve all the time. Something we found out when we had extra electric sockets appear in the room by surprise. The hosts are also very friendly and can give you any tips you ask for. We especially loved all the restaurant tips we got.

The best location in Ponta Delgada!

The best location! The house is beautiful, if you like boutique hotels, this is the perfect one. Great communication with the owner.

If you don't want to climb stairs or have any physical problems, this is not the right place to stay. Also, they don't offer breakfast; if you need something, there is no front desk with permanent staff.

Perfect location and great cleanliness

Hostel perfectly located right in the centre of Ponta Delgada. No problem with early check-in. Perfectly clean. Kitchen available and a nice patio for breakfast or evening drink. Pleasant conversation with Carlos.

The room was arranged for our 5 beds in a rather emergency mode. No problem for 1 night, longer stay would be a bit awkward.

our three-person room was spacious and comfortable. the shared patio is lovely area to sit and relax. the location is central, close to many bars and restaurants. the staff is very helpful and communicative.

Exceptional

We had a very warm welcome, even though we arrived late. The room was perfect for our family (it's often hard to find a room for a family of 5!) The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect.

Our room was at the front of the building and there was some noise from the street but that is to be expected with such a central location.
