Une grande déception. Privilégier plutôt le BW Jules Verne à Biarritz.

L’ascenseur fonctionnait bien.

Malgré le fait que j’avais reçu trois e-mails de l’hôtel, me rappelant de ne pas oublier mon maillot de bain et mon bonnet pour profiter du spa, en arrivant, nous avons appris que le spa était fermé. Le personnel de l’accueil nous avait déconseillé d’utiliser Booking.com,car, et je cite, « Booking, c’est l’ennemi ! On leur paie 20% de commission déjà, et vous payerez moins cher en passant directement par Accor ». J’ai exprimé mon mécontentement, ayant choisi cet hôtel expressément pour son spa, mais pas de geste de la part du personnel d’accueil.

Great hotel great location food not great

The hotel was in a great position free car park layout was great you could walk to two beaches and 7 mins drive to the center of Biarritz the reception staff were great bar and restaurant not so

The bar you had to find a member of staff every time you wanted a drink the breakfast was ok but not as good as the pictures shown we went to the restaurant the first night the staff did not know what they were doing the food and choices were not good one of the main meals was not what we ordered but the staff kept away from us so my wife eat it we went to pay and complained and the answer was they knew it was wrong but it’s all the same price! So we didn’t eat there again went to the beach restaurant better food better service better choices

Great stay and we will definitely continue to come back.

We have stayed here before. Hotel has been renovated and renamed. Lobby and hotel look much better. Rooms have freshend up. And extra bed for our soon was provided even when saying it wasn’t necessary. Thank you for the extra mille. Superb breakfast, all products very fresh with many choice. Sauna, hamman and swimming pool from Thalmar is one of the reasons we have been booking this hotel for the last few years on our way from the north to the south. Great stay and we will be continue to come back.

A good place to stay if you want to be away from the crowds of Biarritz. Restaurant is a hidden gem.

First class reception. Free parking. Close to a beach. I had read mediocre reviews about the restaurant but totally unfounded - we had an excellent meal, sitting outside on a terrace overlooking the sea - far more relaxing than the centre of Biarritz.

Quite a long walk into Biarritz.

The hotel is over-rated. This hotel is associated with a beauty spa with swimming and fitness. If you don't use the facilities, you are paying extra €25 per person per night anyway (that's the entry fee for the swimming pool and fitness). The hotel said it's a "gift" from the hotel, but i feel being ripped off. If you come Biarritz for beach life and not use those facilities, you won't happy to be charged with this price. The swimming pool is 10 minutes walking from the hotel. If you imagine to sit by the pool and enjoy nice drink by the pool, you will be very disappointed. There is no refrigerator in the room (only when you request for it) , and no balcony. Price 230€ per room is too much. I think the reasonable price is 130€ considering it's 20 minutes walking distance to the center. I do see some senior visitirs. Maybe they are happy about the indoor swimming pool. I will not recommend any of my friends to stay in this hotel, sorry....

Pleasant

The hotel had parking which was essential.

We did online check in and then had to check in again. The bar shuts at 6 and the restaurant had very little choice so we couldn’t eat dinner. The walls were not sound proof so we heard everyone around us. Parking was limited, there was not enough room in the car park. The lights didn’t work in our room. The bathroom was very small and looked as though it hadn’t been given a proper clean in a while.

Position, view. The stuff is actually very polite.

The room was very small for 2 persons, it looked like it is just the part of a bigger appartement. There were one more door in the room, locked, that are actually a door to the next room, and they have a big gap between the floor and door itself. You could exactly hear every sound that comes from the people in the next room. Not pleasant feeling at all.
