Mooie verzorgde en kindvriendelijke camping

De camping was alles goed in orde en geregeld, Konde iedere dag broodbestellen en er was een restaurant waar eten ook goed was, kinderen hebben zich goed geamuzeerd, mooi zwembad en mooi verblijf. Ook dat je Nederlands kon spreken was fijn, er verbleven veel Belgen en Nederlanders.

De omgeving was mooi maar de wegen waren zeer kronkelig en daardoor duurde de rit naar de camping lang vanaf de autosnelweg. Het weer was ook zeer wisselvallig begin Juli tijdens ons verblijf

Excelente pero cuidado con la “limpieza”

Lo que más me gustó fueron las instalaciones, un lugar precioso con todo lo necesario para pasarlo genial, la piscina climatizada todo el año y la tienda donde nos quedamos con todo lo necesario para la estadía. Es un lugar perfecto para ir con la familia o con niños y disfrutar de unos días tranquilos. Además se encuentra muy cerca de la mayoría de pueblos mágicos y castillos de la zona, estás en el pueblo y puedes comprar todo tipo de alimentos o repostar gasolina, la zona donde alojaron está rodeada de un riachuelo que bordea gran parte del camping.

Cuando llegamos, nos cobraron un suplemento de 53 €, “ en concepto de limpieza y tasas turísticas ”, Al parecer, te envían un correo con esta información, pero cuando lo lees en ningún lugar, aparece el coste de la limpieza, la señorita de Recepción me dijo que leyese el correo con tranquilidad, ( ya que enfrente de ella intenté buscar la información que me decía y no aparece),pero nunca encontramos esa información con claridad, sino que en el correo de confirmación te envían un enlace donde en uno de los apartados aparece, que la limpieza es opcional, a no ser que vayas con Mascota la debes pagar si o sí. Mi queja realmente no es pagar una limpieza, sino que nos informe con claridad de la misma, si ponen claramente que es opcional y el coste en un lugar que se pueda ver, no tengo ningún problema, pero después de conducir más de siete horas desde España al camping, lo que menos te apetece es discutir… así que finalmente decidimos no reclamar, ya que si no te informan de esto, evidentemente nosotros no llevábamos los materiales necesarios, para realizar una correcta limpieza del alojamiento. También debo decir que durante más de 10 días viajando por Francia, en ningún otro camping o alojamiento, me llegaron a cobrar tantísimo dinero por una limpieza… Si quitamos este incidente por todo lo demás perfecto.

Still been set up for summer, shop quite empty, had a coffee made which really was a cup of froth , Trades in doing various jobs,felt quite shortchanged.

Nice but with flaws

Swimming pool was great! Cottage was clean.

Activities were cancelled and if there was any it was only 15 minutes. You have to reserve the day before for the restaurant. So we couldn't eat on arrival...

A must if you’re looking for a clean, well run camping site within a gorgeous part of France.

We were looking for a quality camping/mobile vacation at a reasonable price and that is exactly what we found. My review is also more than favourable because we our stay coincided with no one else being around and it was wonderfully quiet with full use of the pools and slides at our leisure. We stayed in one of the mobile homes, which had ample room to act as a base for a family of four. Each of the extra rooms had 2 singles and our master was big enough to lay on the bed comfortably but not to walk around. The shower was big enough for both girls to be in there comfortably after playing in the pool. We spent most of the days out visiting the local French areas within 15, 30 and 45mins away and there is A LOT to see and experience. Chateaus, gardens, the Dordogne river and a ton of exquisite dining places. The on-site staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, the pool area was very nice and chilled. There was one heated and partially covered pool which most gravitate towards, then they plunge into the 2 other fun pools which are colder, but refreshing. The restaurant food was more than ok but we only ate there once because there are so many other places to eat offsite.

Next time we will aim for a bigger home. The space was more than adequate as a base but a tiny bit more space for a bigger person would’ve been better. My kids were absolutely fine with the amount of space. Would’ve been nice to have Wi-Fi on multiple devices without paying extra, however, for the facilities provided at such a reasonable price, I can’t complain and my mobile data was more than fine for steaming.

The chalet was clean and the staff very pleasant.

The facilities were fantastic, the kids loved the pool area and we enjoyed the quiet time it allowed us.
