We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cabin by Hood Canal! The place has so much character, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed, and the deck provided the perfect spot to relax and watch the tides come and go.
Randy is a fantastic host who communicated with us promptly and clearly. He even offered us the use of his kayak, though we didn't get to use it because the water was a bit too choppy. We will definitely be coming back!
Highly recommended!

We spent Thanksgiving weekend in the house. I couldn’t believe how close the water came to the decking. House was well furnished and kitchen well stocked. We brought all the food but there is a Qfc and safeway in Belfair. Great spot to get away from it all.

This is a great little place that is right on the water. The views are amazing and you couldn’t ask for better access to enjoying the sound. Having access to the SUPs and kayaks was also a nice added touch. Great communication with the owner as well. All in all, a great stay!

Perfect Family Getaway
We had a lovely vacation at Tide's End. The property was perfect for our family with elementary-aged kids. We all had a blast in the water and enjoyed almost every daylight moment on the deck. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the house was very clean. And the outdoor shower is amazing!
I appreciated the owner's detailed welcome instructions and thoughtful texts. We felt very welcomed and prepared for everything.
There is not much I would change about our trip. We brought a few of our own games and puzzles, which I recommend bringing for a rainy day. My only advice for travelers: Bring band aids! Everyone in our family had an encounter with a sharp oyster shell -- a very PNW souvenir.

Waterfront and Charm
It was very interesting and fun to watch the tide come in and go out. We used both paddle boards and kayaks and appreciated that life vests were available too. Our grandkids got a kick out of the many little crabs scurrying around the water’s edge and the handful of beautiful starfish enjoying the warm sun. We found it very clean and tidy, we liked the fun nautical décor, and comfy furniture. It has a well-stocked kitchen with a large pantry that came in handy. The beds are comfy with nice sheets and our grandkids enjoyed the bunk beds. There’s plenty of towels including lots of beach towels. The patio deck offers beautiful views and has great furniture to relax and enjoy each other, it’s completely safe and enclosed for small children and our little dog. We used the lower patio to BBQ and enjoyed gathering around the nice seating in the evening with a glass of wine. There is plenty of hiking and sightseeing nearby. Randy is a responsive, wonderful host.

Beautiful ❤️
Had the whole family together for a week. Especially meaningful as likely our last vacation as a family since my husband was diagnosed with dementia. We lived on the deck and in the water. Nothing beats that deck. We had a great time.

We were two families sharing this house and it was fantastic, wonderful spaces inside and out
Wonderful home on Hood Canal, we kayaked and paddled everyday and enjoyed the gorgeous sunny deck and inside living rooms as well. The outdoor shower is just fantastic! Great for two families with a shared bunk room for the kids and the owner was super responsive and helpful .

Beautiful October
Great location, the patio is what sells this place. Great selection in kitchen of pans & pots, nice plates for cooking in. Full closet of towels for indoors & outdoors. Clean sheets/bedding & comfortable beds and sleeping arrangements. A couple of suggestions that would make it better/cozier for the fall/winter months when you can't spend all the time on the patio. Throw blankets on the couches. Games/puzzles for indoor activities. Cleaning could have been more thorough and kitchen needs organizing and maybe getting rid of some the older things & replacing with new. Also would suggest some information on the local area- restaurants, hikes, family friendly, kid friendly, adult only, etc. Instructions for remote (volume on TV would not cooperate) would go from MUTE to very loud.

Cute house!
This property is right on the water! Great view and easy access to the water. The beds were very comfortable and the house was nicely stocked with all that you needed. We loved the deck! It is completely enclosed for dogs or small children. The bbq area is wonderful! But what we all loved the most was the outdoor shower! Wow! I would definitely recommend this place!

Idyllic!
Lovely property with all the amenities and lots of water toys available to try out. Weather was great and spent most of our time on the deck or in the water. Randy’s information very easy to follow. Highly recommended and will definitely consider destination for a return visit! Thanks!

Perfectly relaxing
Without doubt, the best vacation rental I’ve ever made! Well appointed, the best views, centrally located for sightseeing excursions and the clams and oysters are the best! Underpriced in my opinion.

Perfect place for us to gather our family for Thanksgiving.
Tide's End Beach House was a great home for the 7 of us to spend Thanksgiving. The house itself was literally a step away from the water's edge, which provided beautiful views from outside on the deck as well as from inside the house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were super comfy too. Randy was a wonderful host and very attentive to any questions we had about the property and surrounding area. We would love to return again!

Spectacular experience
The location is perfect! It has beautiful sunrises and sunsets right on the water. Every day, we spent hours on the beach front deck with our morning coffees and afternoon cocktails. This spacious cottage was very clean and well kept. It had everything we needed as if it were our own home. The owner, Randy, must have put a lot of time and care into this place. We will come back here again!

It is sometimes difficult to please six adults ranging in age from 38 to 92. But this property did!
Our experience was outstanding! From the water to the water toys, from the spacious rooms to the well-stocked kitchen, this stay came as close to perfection as any we’ve had!

Ideal Hood Canal destination
We were hoping to have a week of hanging out in the sunshine and playing in the water and the Tide’s End more than exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we found it to be a very clean and well maintained home. The floorplan is open and spacious with plenty of room for our family of four to spread out and begin to enjoy the beauty of the Hood Canal. As in the pictures, with its easy access to the canal and the incredible views it affords of the surrounding area it affords the deck really is the highlight. It's a great place to start and end the day under the perfectly placed umbrella. The sitting area with new Weber bbq and firepit is great for grilling and evening relaxation . We especially loved the quality and convenience of the outdoor shower, to the point the indoor baths got very little use. Inside, the amenities are mostly first rate. Most of the furnishings are new and contemporary. The beds are big and comfortable as is the family room furniture for watching the very fine big screen TV. My son would have been perfectly content spending his days sitting in the extremely comfortable mid-century-styled leather chair and ottoman. The kitchen is well stocked and there’s also a large pantry for storing groceries. Some of the appliances are a little older, but all are fully functional and we had absolutely no complaints about their performance.
The owner is extremely helpful and responsive and he went out of his way to make sure there were a couple kayaks and stand up paddle boards available for us to use, without which would have made for a completely different, and far less enjoyable, vacation. If you’re looking to spend some time in the sun and water and are fortunate enough to visit when the weather and the water is warm, the Tide’s End is a perfect choice to get away from it all along the serene waters of the Hood Canal (you will be surprised how calm the water is and relatively few boats are in the area...much of the time we felt like we had the whole canal to ourselves, shared only by the occasional seal popping its head above the water).

Beautiful and relaxing vacation home.
If you are looking for a “getting away from it all” place where you can enjoy a glass of wine and a gorgeous view from the deck literally feet from the water, this is it!..
The house is very cozy, clean and nicely decorated with a Pottery Barn kind of decor. The beds are very comfortable with really good quality bedsheets and comforters. My 2 teenage sons immediately took advantage of the 2 kayaks that came with the house (oh! And there are two paddle boards also) and went on the water while my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine on the beautiful deck while watching the boys having fun on the water.. we got to see a bald eagle fly by us several times and even a baby otter being chased by two seagulls ( otter escaped).. Right behind the front door you can find some binoculars hanging which is a nice touch ( that kind of attention to details speaks volume about how much the owner want you to enjoy your stay) and we definitely put those binoculars to good use as there’s a lot of wild life around... One thing that I had noticed was how quiet it was.. always good when you want to enjoy your surroundings..
The kitchen had everything I needed to cook and was functional (the boys really liked the waffle maker, so much so I ended up buying the same one for our house!)The owner had obviously taken time to write a detailed description regarding the house which was very helpful to us when it came time to either use the TV or to unplugged the security cameras, parking etc...We had a great time but unfortunately not long enough for my taste, I could have sat on that deck, go out on the paddle board or just enjoy my coffee outside a few more days for sure... Randy was very friendly as we got to meet him when he was dropping off a brand new kayak (life jackets are included too) and to make sure we had everything we needed shortly after our arrival...
I would highly recommend this hidden jewel of a house and hope to go back there again soon..

A Great Hood Canal Experience
We were pleasantly surprised as we opened the door to this Hood Canal gem. It was clean, welcoming and well decorated. For those who cook, everthing you need is there including a waffle iron. There are two A/C units that kept us comfortable on a 90° day. This owner clearly cares about taking care of his guest by the care put into this home. What a great place to experience the beauty of the canal. We will be back!

BREATHTAKING VIEW!!!
The owners of Tides End Beach House are the greatest!!
This home has friendly neighbors, is quiet, peaceful and the view from the deck is absolutely breathtaking!! The interior cameras everywhere raise numerous and obvious concerns legal and otherwise however rest assured you are able to disconnect the system easily and the owners will work with you should you want to utilize the system when away from the home.
Two things I would note is that this is an older trailer home and not a stick built home. You are truly paying for the view and the space.
If you rent this home, we recommend parking across the street in the dedicated parking area as there is a dangerous blind spot coming out of the inner gate parking.
