Trotzdem ein schöner kurzer Urlaub.

Sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr schön zusammengestellt.

Leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen und direkt an der Straße. Es war sehr laut bei gekipptem Fenster.

Die Umgebung und die Angebote durch die Gästekarte

Frühstück zu wenig 3 Scheiben Wurst, 2 Scheiben Käse für 2 Personen und je 2 Brötchen. Kein Buffet wegen Platzmangel. Zimmer wurde in den 10 Tagen nicht gereinigt nur Betten gemacht und bei Bedarf Handtücher gewechselt. Bedienung erzählte fast jeden Morgen, dass sie ausgebeutet und in Leibeigenschaft dort dient.

Eine wunderschöne Gegend

Eine wunderschöne Gegend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir fühlten uns supergut aufgehoben. Wir haben täglich Abendbrot gegessen und den Tag ausklingen lassen. Auch das Zimmer hatte für uns völlig gereicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bis auf die geschilderten Problem alles gut. Würden wiederkommen.

Freundlichkeit des Personals. Ist auf eine Glutenunverträglichkeit eingegangen. Jedoch war das Essen dann wohl doch nicht glutenfrei. Es wurden extra glutenfreie Brötchen gereicht. Jedoch dürfen diese dann nicht in einem Korb mit "normalen" Brötchen liegen.

Urlaub mit den kleinsten

Das Personal sowie alle Servicekräfte waren sehr aufmerksam und nett. Ich war gemeinsam mit einer guten Freundin und meinen 3 Monate alten Baby für einen Kurzurlaub in Ramsau und würde jederzeit wieder her kommen. Vom Gasthof aus ist es super leicht mit Kinderwagen oder Trage einige Ausflugsziele zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Freundliches, sauberes Haus. Nette und freundliche Bedienungen bei gutem Essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr versiert. Man versteht sein Handwerk beim Oberwirt. Danke für diesen schönen Aufenthalt. Wir waren bestens versorgt und voll zufrieden.

The place for vacation is fantastic. Also, we had a very late check-in and they agreed to wait for us - it was nice.

there was only one outlet for charging in the bathroom. This makes it difficult to charge all phones and watches in the evening.

Exceptional

We loved that the room was really big, light and spacious. The table and chairs were very useful for organising our belongings and there was loads of wardrobe space and hooks for jackets and bags. The views of the valley and Watzmann were incredible. It was also great to have a really big cold fridge downstairs for guest use. Wish everywhere had this to keep water and packed lunches for hikes cold. We planned our Alpine Route journey in a hurry and hadn't even realised that the famous picturesque St Sebastian Church was next door to the accommodation. We also loved the spa garden, saline inhalation shed and Kneipp water treading pool nearby. The food at the restaurant was so good- would highly recommend the Majes with potato salad it was huge and very tasty. The breakfast was also great, delicious meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, rolls, butter, jam and you could help yourself to tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers which I love having with breakfast. Would definitely come back to stay here on our next visit to the Alps.

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good and dinner in hotel restaurant was excellent. Staff local knowledge most helpful.

Would have preferred to be in main hotel rather than annex.

It is convenient to get to the hotel by public transport, it is located right next to the bus stop. The road to Lake Hintersee takes about 40-50 minutes through a delightful forest. The room is not very new but comfortable. There is hot water and towels. The staff is very friendly, helped us and told us what to see in the area. Breakfast would be fresh and tasty, served separately for each room. Wifi worked fine

The kitchen is only open during certain hours in the morning and evening. Every evening we returned from walks later than 19:00 and there was already nothing to eat. We had to look for working restaurants in the area

Book here and you will not be disappointed!

The location is perfect. You don't need to stay in Berchtesgaden as this Guesthouse is only a 10-15 min. scenic bus ride away. Ramsau is much more quiet and relaxing for sure. There are many hiking trails (inc. famous Zauberwald) located within footsteps. We stayed in the upper building. It was very clean, spacious and had free safe parking directly in front. Park your car and use the travel card which you receive during your stay. It allows you to take the buses all around the Berchtesgaden area. There is a bus stop directly in front of the main Guest house. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant beer garden within the main building was fantastic. The most impressive thing about this place are the staff and head waiter. They made you feel like you were staying at your long lost Uncle's Guesthouse. There was an additional 10 euro town tax added at the end of our 2 day stay. Well worth it due to the Bus card. Thank you for a great stay. See you again!

A desk and comfy chairs would make the room perfect. Otherwise..A perfect place to enjoy the area.

Pleasant stay

The location was very beautiful. Very friendly staff.

There is no lift to the upper floors. Very less number of power sockets available inside the double rooms. No card payment available.

Wonderful place to stay on vacation, very friendly staff and large rooms. A short drive to the Salt mine, Eagle's Nest, Koenich See, etc. Wonderful scenery, hiking paths and eating establishments. Would like to come back again sometime.

Best place to stay with nature !!

The location of the hotel

Sometimes they park the car that others can't park it. Every morning for the breakfast should go to the hotel . There was only one charging point in the room.

Guesthouse in great location and friendly staff!

- Staff is great, really friendly and polite. - Location is great! - Bath was super after long hikes! - Spacious room

- Minor detail but we missed a kettle in a room. Would be nice to have a cup of coffee or tea in the room as the restaurant is in the seperate building - Pilow and sheets were not really comfortable - Interior of the room quite old - Could be better variety of the breakfast

Located in the main street, but not noisy as the traffic is modest, big clean room, although the furniture and interior look outdated. They have a restaurant on the premises, it closes early - which seems typical in this area. Parking space available. Good location to visit the area.

Very nice staff and sweet little hotel in a gorgeous town!

Cleanliness, dinner, breakfast was pretty good, staff was very kind, close to everything we wanted to do and came with guest card for discounts around the area.

No shower (tub with a removable shower head); hot (could use a ceiling fan or standing fan…maybe bring one if staying in summer).

Loved our stay - highly recommended!

All of the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful from breakfast through to dinner! The location in Ramsau is beautiful, handy for walks starting right from the door and much quieter than staying in Berchtesgaden itself, which we preferred. Parking is just across the road from the hotel and we were given a guest card which gave us free bus rides and money off parking in all the car parks we used (from 7 EUR for one day down to 2.50/3.50 EUR). The decor in the room is old-fashioned (but that fits in with the building style) but very spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very tasty and efficient. The restaurant kitchen closes at 7:30pm in the evening which caught us out at first but once we knew, we could plan for it. The food is home-cooked German food in good portions. Overall we were very happy with our stay - very good value and highly recommended - would definitely stay here again!

The restaurant kitchen closes at 7:30pm and there are not many other dining options in the village so be prepared to order on time if you are usually late diners.
