Servizi all’altezza ma struttura da rimodernare.

Colazione ricca di tutto e di più. Piscina grande e accogliente. Letto king size comodissimo.

Struttura datata, necessita di manutenzione, camera non all’altezza. Usura molto visibile, sull’immobile e sugli interni a parte la reception, bar e ristoranti.

Séjour excellent!

Le buffet petit déjeuner est extraordinaire. Et il est rempli jusqu’à la dernière seconde, donc il est possible d’arriver à la fin du créneau horaire et de bénéficier de tous les aliments.

L’accès au spa interdit au moins de 16 ans stt un jour de pluie avec une enfant de 5 ans.

Bisher bestes Hotel in Alghero

Gutes Frühstück mit frischen Früchten. Top Lage mit kurzem Fußweg zur Altstadt. Riesiger Pool. Ausreichend kostenfreier Parkraum. Wir haben schon in vielen sehr guten Hotels in Alghero und Umgebung gewohnt, das Smy Carlos ist mit Abstand das beste. Wir werden wiederkommen und empfehlen das Hotel ausdrücklich. Zimmer-Empfehlung: Meer- und Pool-Blick.

Wir mussten feststellen, dass der Last-Minute-Preis deutlich günstiger als das Buchen lange im Voraus war. Dafür haben wir ein tolles Upgrade erhalten.

Świetny hotel w bardzo dobrej cenie w przepięknym miejscu.

Hotel jest położony w prześlicznym miejscu, widok z okien skierowanych na morze jest wspaniały. Miejscowość Alghero bardzo ciekawa, dużo atrakcji przyrodniczych wokół. obsługa hotelu uprzejma. Śniadania bardzo różnorodne i smaczne. Obsługa w restauracji wyjątkowa.

Dziwne że przy takim pięknym położeniu hotelu restauracja hotelowa gdzie podawane jest śniadanie ma okna skierowane na bardzo nieciekawy dziedziniec z basenem. osoby mieszkające w tym hotelu a nie mające pokoju z widokiem na morze są właściwie pozbawione tego pięknego widoku. Obszar wokół basenu jest odpychający. Wystarczyłoby dosadzić tam trochę zieleni i byłoby dużo lepiej.

Not a 5* hotel - rooms are dated, bed isn’t very comfortable. The first room we were given wasn’t very clean. Spa isn’t complimentary for hotel guests.

This was our fourth time here so that says it all, excellent

The breakfast was superb, the room with walk in wardrobe was a very good size. The location overlooking the sea was very good but the walk into town seemed a little bit long, apart from that, nothing but high praise.

Fabulous hotel in Alghero!

The breakfast was wonderful and location was great! Not sure why is rated lower by other guests but the hotel has a high end feel and we appreciate the staff attentiveness. We loved that parking was available for free.

The carpets on hallways could use a shampoo wash.

Highly recommend this hotel, the staff are so kind and helpful and it's very well located!

A really lovely hotel made even better by all the super staff we met during our stay. We had 11 nights in a beautiful room looking over the sea at the front. The reception area, breakfast room, bar terrace and lunch/evening restauant are top class, as was the spa. There is a very large swimming pool with plenty of basic loungers for everyone and fresh supplies of towels. A nice 15 min walk to the old town and just 20 mins taxi from the airport too.

As mentioned by others, the area around the pool could do with some landscaping, it's just bare grass leading to a worn out wall & fence. Also a small hedge blocks the brilliant view of the sea from the pool deck.

Nice hotel in a handy location

Nice breakfast. Beautiful view overlooking the bay. A 10-15 minute into the old town. Nice pool area and lovely staff.

At the end of a long days sightseeing, that 10-15 walk sometimes felt 5 minutes too long!

The pool is a fantastic size. The views are lovely. The breakfast buffet is huge.

The air conditioning in the room did not work well. The gym was difficult to find (you have to take multiple lifts and walk along lots of corridors, plus through a door which looks like a fire exit).

Walking distance from the historic center, nice wellness zone. Clean.

I might have rated this hotel a little better if it wasn’t 5 stars. Laminate on the floor in the room which was coming off and very noisy when we walked on it. The closet in my room was literally about 12cm deep, couldn’t put anything in it. No bathrobes. Only a small bottle of water in the minibar.Nothing to do at the hotel. But all of that wouldn’t have mattered if it wasn’t for the completely unresponsive staff. We had to try to get their attention to ask for anything. No one offered us coffee at breakfast, despite the hotel being virtually empty. When we wanted to get massages we were told they were completely booked? Again, empty hotel. We then decided to use the spa zone. The price was about 50€ pp for 2 hours. If you want to use a bathrobe you have to pay for then? In a 5 star hotel? We asked for bathrobes and we were told they don’t have them and we need to get them from reception? We went to the reception and they told us to go to our rooms and wait for them to bring them to us? This took about 20min. The bartender at the pool bar refused to acknowledge my presence until I called him (empty bar and pool). I ordered a couple of cocktails and he acted as if I offended his ancestors or something. We wanted to have some more but honestly we were afraid to ask. The worst experience in our whole trip to Sardegna. Avoid.

Superb stay, with amazing staff that couldn’t do enough, very welcoming.

The room and facilities were fantastic, beautiful views and lovely pool area. Lovely selection for breakfast.

Access to the spa was quite expensive for guests. There was just one coffee machine for breakfast, which was not very practical.

Ideal for a long weekend

We had a very clean room with a nice view to the sea. The hotel is only a 10 minutes walk away from the historic downtown. During the breakfasts they offered glutenfree and lactose free options as well.

The spa is not free of charge (which is not a problem as such but we have not seen this information pre booking)

Beautiful views but lacking amenities year round.

Beautiful views of the sea from our balcony. Our massages at the spa were lovely.

We were not told that the hotel would shut off air conditioning for a certain period of the year. Our room had a full sea view which meant the sun was shining on it most of the day making the room quiet hot. Their initial suggestion to cool the room down was to open the window, but we only had a door and no screen. Not only could we hear traffic all night, but there were bugs coming in. My husband finally went down to the front desk at 4 am and insisted they turn on the AC for our room. They did turn it on and kept it on for the next day for us, but I would hope they update this amenity on their site so that future guests know it isn’t available year-round.

great breakfast , really good restaurant super tasty food and accommodating chefs , but it is the excellent staff that really sets this hotel apart and the reason why I look forward to going back again next year
