Perfect for relaxing at Capri

Super nice room! Super nice villa! I chose the one with terrace, can have drinks and lie down to enjoy the sea view. Beautiful decorations, room is really big, the villa is so sweet. They provide vast of information on eating and having fun at this island. Bathtub is really good.

Hard to find the villa. I navigated by Google maps but could not find it. Then met a friendly local that helped me. The staff was not there when I arrived. Phoned them to come, service lady didn't speak English, little bit hard to communicate. Breakfast served late, and very simple.

A wonderful 3 day stay

An excellent Villa with a large terrace with a sea of the sea with ample room to dine and relax outside. the room was clean and comfortable especially the bed. The most amazing part of our stay was being served a sumptuous breakfast on our terrace.

The only reason I didn't rate this property a 10 was because of their arcane and unyielding payment process that forced me to pay with a NEXI payment system that our credit cards rejected. Ultimately, we had to cancel , rebook and pay immediately on Booking.com,

Great location, with exceptional staff!

The staff are exceptional at the hotel. Our original ferry cancelled our return trip due to weather. The hotel front desk quickly rebooked our trip and made sure our plans did not change.

The perfect location with an amazing breakfast experience!

The location of the Villa Calypso is just perfect, right in the heart of Capri with amazing views out to sea yet still calm and quiet. The room was massive and neatly furnished complete with a fridge and kettle. The toiletries were of a high standard, as was cleanliness. The best part, which was just amazing, was breakfast being delivered on a trolley and laid out on the terrace for us to enjoy. A truly unique experience.

My stay was wonderful. It was very peaceful and relaxing.

Although the property was a bit older than the usual hotels that I frequent, I found it very charming and much more spacious than newer properties. I appreciated the robe, slippers, toiletries, shower caps etc. All the amenities were on par with much more expensive places. The balcony was wonderful.

1. I did not have access to my emails for several days before my arrival so I was a bit confused when there was no way to enter the property. The doors were locked. There was no one in the lobby to give me any direction. I did not know that I was supposed to register at the other hotel. Luckily a guest came out and let me into the lobby. While we were speaking, a woman employee came into the lobby and allowed me to register and gave me a key to my room. It all worked out. 2. I wish that I could have had breakfast earlier than 8:30am because I had to leave early on my checkout day and didn't have time to have breakfast. Something to go would have been nice to take for the road. 3. I wasn't sure if the property had air conditioning. I didn't need it for my stay as the weather was cool enough.

The air conditioning was broken the first night, and even once it was fixed it didn’t cool the room. Also, there was black mold all over the ceiling if the bathroom

Rafaella was amazing! It was truly amazing to have her "continental breakfast" on our patio every morning with a few of the ocean. The location was really great as well, close enough to get where we wanted to go but it was very quiet at night.

Amazing views, beautiful rooms, great breakfast and super service.

The views from the balcony were unbelievable. The rooms were beautiful and beds super comfy and we slept very well. Raphealla and all the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was great and lots to choose from and the brownies were the best I’ve ever had! Enjoying the breakfast on the balcony was a memory in itself. I would highly recommend Villa Calypso to anyone as it was a perfect place to stay and very close to everything.

the view from the balcony / bedroom was amazing. it was reasonably close walking distance to Capri square. breakfast was served to your balcony from a lovely lady on a trolley in the morning time.

they did not offer any service to take your bags or offer a lift from the port and did not notify us of the climb up to Capri town from the port. it was a very intense climb. I am a very fit person and my shirt was drenched in sweat by the time we arrived. even if no service offered, we were not warned of the severe climb and we had luggage. The mini bar in the room had a sign saying no storage of drinks was in the room but you are welcome to phone a number left in the sign for room service… I rang for 2 bottles of beer to enjoy in our balcony and was refused, on my second phone call for the service I repeated the signs writing 3 times before eventually they gave in ( against there will ) if the sign had not been there I don’t think I’d have rang or persisted but why would you offer a service and then refuse the service.

One night is not enough

Great location, close to the Piazzetta but at the same time in a quiet street and with view to the sea. Nice breakfast either in room or your terrace. On top of that, Rafella is very kind and helpful and makes you feel really at home. Only "regret" is that I stayed only one night; 2 or 3 would have been better, both to explore more of the island (several interesting hiking paths) and enjoyed more time on the terrace ;-)
