About this house rental

The owners are regular visitors and love this place! The home has an open living area. Features include gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling and breakfast bar, and a dining room table big enough for 6. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one has a queen-size bed and king-size in the other, two full bathrooms, and laundry. It sleeps 4 comfortably. A 1/2 bath is located downstairs. The home is furnished with the necessary cooking and eating supplies - Keurig and coffee pot, microwave, and all the pots and pans and plates you will need. There is a single-car garage available for use of gear, and a covered deck in the back that is plenty big and private enough to enjoy the provided gas BBQ when you grill. There are paved trails to the beach right out the doors (either front or back), along with many paved walking trails within Shoreline Village and neighboring Nestucca Ridge - you can take the kids or dog for a walk all over the neighborhood. Walk to Pelican Brewery, pick up pizza, rent surf gear, or each morning walk to Stimulus Espresso for baked goods and coffee. Use of clubhouse with fitness room, big screen TV and pool table.

Build summer beach memories, enjoy winter storm watching, or just snuggle up by the fireplace with a book. You will love this getaway!

We stayed here during our annual family reunion weekend at Cape Kiwanda. It was super close by to where the rest of the family camp. We loved the house and the private backyard. Very peaceful!

Comfortable space with pretty much everything you might need provided. Bring your food or other specific amenities, not many nearby places and no food delivery yet, but there are a few good local chains. If you can walk to the beach, there is a large dune with stairs on one side only. No good way to get equipment there, bring a few athletic friends or it will be tough. Otherwise it's very nice! The king size bed is a little bouncy, FYI, if you're a light sleeper or your partner is bigger you might want to plan ahead if possible. Lots of broken rest from getting jiggled around from every movement all night. (We're a little spoiled because we have a Tempur Pedic at home!) Overall great place!

This house is a dream. The decor is wonderful. The space, cleanliness, and items to use is terrific. The walk to the beach is lovely, direct access. The hosts replied to our messages immediately and graciously. I plan to book here again.

Property was as advertised. Quick walk to back and to the Pelican Pub. Great base of operations if you are exploring that area of the coast.

Clean, well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds & living space. The walking paths in HOA/around property were nice & convenient. Access to the beach was a bit farther/more confusing than it showed on the map in the listing, but it was fine. The HOA does not have recycling services, which I do not like. I hate throwing aluminum into trash/landfill. Overall though the property was great.

We had a great time overall. The house is very close to the beach and walkable to some restaurants and bars. The house is also close to the street so you can hear road noise, it’s also a duplex but we were lucky and had quiet neighbors.

Great cozy place. We'll set up kitchen. Very responsive hosts! Highly recommend it. There was a slight problem with one room not being prepped and the host immediately responded and refunded our cleaning deposit.

We went to PC for a wedding/weekend and the place was in the perfect spot, just a quick walk to the dunes overlooking the beach, secluded and quiet within the little community of homes, just the right size for us and super comfortable. We would stay again for sure but next time for longer.

Beautiful place to stay. Very warm and comfortable. Everything inside was clean and neat. Plenty of utensils, pots and pans etc... Nice back yard. Quick response from owner when I forgot the door code. If there is a drawback it is the fact that it is in a HOA and there is no on street parking. We solved it by having guests park on Cape Kiwanda Drive and enter through the back gate. I would definitely stay at this property again.

This is our second time to spend several weeks at this beach house. Two bedrooms with two full baths and one half bath makes it perfect for friends to visit. The location is excellent. The house is clean and the beds are good. It’s a 5 minute walk to beach and you walk through a quiet neighborhood. Owners were extremely helpful and answered all questions in a matter of minutes. Grill has been updated which we loved as we grilled fresh fish (we recommend West Fish Co.) every night. Trees have been trimmed recently and a new roof. It’s obvious that the owners take care of the property. The Wi-Fi is very good, the kitchen is stocked with just about everything you need to cook any type of meal. Don’t want to cook, you are a 8 minute walk from Pelican Pub. We will be back as we love Pacific City and the beach house.

We enjoyed the property. It was as represented and fully equipped. The location is excellent for convenience and safety. The furnishings are excellent and the beds comfortable. The property owners were convivial and easily contacted when questions arose. This is a very nice, modern beach house.

We had a great time at this spacious, clean, well maintained duplex townhouse unit in Shorepine Village. Communication with the owners was easy & replies to questIons prompt. Location is an easy walk to the beach & restaurants/shops at Cape Kiwanda & a short drive/10 minute bike ride to the town of Pacific City. Unit had everything we needed to cook meals & was exceptionally well stocked with spices & ingredients. Bbq worked well & had a full tank of propane. There’s only room for one vehicle in the driveway and no street parking allowed in the complex so additional cars have to park about a block away in a lot - which wasn’t an issue for us. That being said, it was nice to be able to store our bikes in the garage. All in all a great place in a super location - we’ll be back!

Great location, walking distance to the beach. The house has all the basic necessities and was basically clean. Beds were comfortable. There were some pots/pans and utensils that had grease residue and had to be cleaned before use. Carpets on stairs and upstairs need to be cleaned. Welcome book needs better instructions to be able to use TV's with multiple remotes, gas fireplace etc. The owners were quick to respond to our questions.

I loved the location. Nice peaceful trail to the beach and easy walk to Pelican Brewery. That said, the biggest reason why I cannot recommend this place is they have two security cameras which view directly into guests private space. The front Camera points through the front door windows and the rear camera points through the living-room/dining-room windows. We had to keep the living-room blinds closed to get some level of privacy which was so disappointing given how beautiful the outside is. We didn't use the dining room because there were no blinds. The feeling of always being watched really takes away from the enjoyment of such a beautiful place. I can understand security cameras but these should always point away from interior windows and the cameras should be disclosed before booking. The house could really use a little TLC. The BBQ is mostly rusted out and only half of it is still functional. The kitchen is very disorganized and really hard to find things. There were no towels in the bathroom but eventually found them in hallway closet. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable and as mentioned earlier, the house is in a great location. If they can redirect the security cameras and give the place a little TLC I think it's a 5 start spot.

We enjoyed our visit. We had no problem getting into the house using the lock box. All the appliances worked well and there was all the dishes, flatware and pans we needed. The BBQ grill is not in good shape at all. Grill is very rusty. The carpet on the steps is filthy and the rug in the powder room is coming apart. There was a trash can for the house next door but no can for our house. We ended up bringing the trash home.

We had a nice time getting away, and this house had all the things we needed. It was cozy and close to the beach. There were nice touches that made us feel welcome, and helped us know what to do and where to go. The fireplace was great to sit with a cup of coffee after a walk on the beach. Shanon was helpful and communicated well.

The house was amazing and was very welcoming. The location of the house was perfect. The area was quiet and just a little walk to the beach. The area has a lot of walking paths and it was fun to explore the different paths. One of the paths led to the boardwalk, which took you to the beach. We are looking at purchasing a home and would love to be in the area of where this house was. Both me and my husband did not want to leave because it was so peaceful and welcoming. I highly recommend this house if you are staying in Pacific City, Oregon.

Nice duplex, quiet and short walks to the beach. Easy access to business district. Great food down the road at the Mexican restaurant. When back that way will certainly try to book again.

Despite the somewhat foggy weather, our stay at Shorepine Village was great. Our hosts home was well appointed and perfectly situated. Close enough to the beach with a short walk on the boardwalk to the dunes and then a quick stroll to Pelican Brewery. It was fun watching the dory boats come in on shore at high speed--very cool. Definitely will come back.
