Correcto, con desayuno incluido y bien situado

El desayuno es tipo buffet, muy completo y variado. El personal es muy atento, la habitación es modesta pero tiene todo lo necesario (ropa de cama, armario, mesa de trabajo, toallas, baño privado...) está bien en relación oferta-precio aunque debes tener en cuenta que las instalaciones tienen unos años.

El colchón es de muelles, quizá sea incómodo si estás acostumbrado a otro tipo de colchones. Las almohadas son pequeñas (pero son las mismas que en la mayoría de alojamientos de Leuven). Si eres sensible a los ruidos debes tener en cuenta que el hotel está enfrente de la estación de tren y bus, y se escucha movimiento lógicamente. Los sumideros estaban un poco atascados.

voor de prijs die ik betaalde, kon ik geen grote luxe verwachten, maar het had iets meer mogen zijn

Het ontbijt was goed en het personeel was correct/vriendelijk

Er was heel veel lawaai in het hotel op de verdieping waar ik logeerde (slaande deuren). Om 20u15 was er niemand aan het onthaal, het duurde ook even voor er iemand kwam. De kamer was netjes maar heel basic. Op het bed lag enkel een laken. In de kast lag een dekbed dat niet fris rook en dat ik dus niet gebruikt heb.

Good Location for Rock Wecther

The location is perfect for Leuven and Rock Wechter festival. Right beside the train station. Good breakfast.

The shower was annoying. Cannot regulate the hot/cold water, it kept changing. The value for the room was way high (although I understand it's festival time and demand was very high).

Fine building, lovely staff, great breakfast!

La Royale occupies a handsome building straight opposite the station. The interior retains many original features, but has all the modern facilities you'd expect. All the staff (especially Steffi) were lovely and helped us to store our bags safely a few hours before check-in, allowing us to explore the wonderful city unencumbered by luggage. The range and quality of breakfast items was exceptional and set us up perfectly for the day!

Angy about internet, and happy at 1am to get on online

Across the street from the main train station, and good service to the Brussels airport and easy access from Brussels and other locations. This is a budget hotel and room, bed, all were okay for me.

The only issue for me was the internet, that I really needed. When I complained about weak signal, they advised to come down and sit on the steps in the lobby. Well at least I could login there, but in my room 1 floor up, I had no signal, and was very unhappy, Woke up at 1am and the signal in my room was just fine. So it would seem the issue is the typical internet load when everyone is awake.

Good location. Friendly and responsive staff. Clean Cheap stay.

Disappointing Experience: - Breakfast not available at 7AM even though the receptionist had told me breakfast is from 7 till 10 AM - Noone available for check-out on Saturday morning at 8. - Sound insulation weak despite the room facing a very busy square. -Some lights did not work in the sleeping room -Insufficent light in the bedroom

Breakfast was good. Room was simple, but okay. It's directly at the main train station. The windows are good. It was quiet at night.

The first impression of the room was quite underwhelming. But it was fine to sleep there.

Normal for one night, but much place for improvement.

The hotel is located right opposite the station. The room itself is very basic, however Internet was working flawlessly. A good selection for breakfast was provided.

For my surprise, the bathroom was not in the room, but on the other side of the corridor, and it seems like needing some refurbishment. The lighting was inadequate (only 1 out of 3 lamps worked).

Disappointing

Excellent location, nice terasse. Kind and responsive staff at the reception. The bed was convinient. Everyday cleaning.

The room was worn-out, rusty and old, just as the whole enterior. There were gross stains, smudges, etc on the walls, the toilet was leaking, the drainage blocked. The elevator continously stinked as a dead animal. The breakfast was simple, no vegies at all. Despite they cleaned the room every day and the sheets, towels were clean all the time, the dirty marks on the walls and the infrastructure couldn't be removed, they remained gross.

Slightly expensive, but that's common in Leuven. When I get up early, I cannot have breakfast. It will be served from eight o'clock.

Frustrating as we got no sleep nor good breakfast

The bed was fine. The bathroom was fine.

The room has no air con so we had to keep the window open. The noise! It's SO loud outside that we didn't sleep a wink. The breakfast was eggs (didn't touch the rubber looking meat). The eggs were also rubber however. There is a skeleton staff working the place so it feels very empty.

Nicely located old building

Location. Helpful and nice staff. Good included breakfast.

We had to change rooms 2 times because rooms were not cleaned since previous inhabitants left. Nonetheless, staff helped us and gave us a new room everytime I complained. No AC, while it was 30° C.
