Perfectly located, comfortable with all mod-cons that are needed

Perfect location within Albert, central to Town centre (for Bars & Restaurants) and the Supermarkets. The property is well located to access the WW1 Somme Battlefield sites. The Property is well equipped with all that is needed for a comfortable stay (including an internet TV). The upstairs toilet is very useful as there is a downstairs bathroom. Jose is a wonderful host. Useful to have a washing machine in the property

There is little that could be done to make this property better! An uplighter downstairs to soften the light in the evening. The stairs were slightly steeper than I was used to BUT Jose showed me the additional work he is doing to add an additional downstairs bedroom

Lovely accommodation in the heart of the Somme.

Jose was a friendly and helpful host. Property was in great condition and with excellent facilities too. It was also very clean.

A great base for visiting the Somme battefields, close to the centre of Albert.

A great little house. Immaculately clean and very well equipped. Jose was an incredibly attentive and generous host.

Jose was a great host, always on hand if you needed him.

Location was ideal allowing for short walk in to Albert and the host was attentive greeting us with a beer and a jar of pate.

A perfect base for exporing Albert and the WW1 battlefields.

The personal attention paid to us by José was outstanding. All messages in adfvance of our stay were replied to very promptly and efficiently, and he was waiting for us at the stated arrival time. He was welcoming and very helpful, with his signature pâté as a welcome gift. José is rightly very proud of his property, which is a perfect base for those visiting the WW1 battlefields.

It was all one could expect and wish from a 9.9 rated property. In the opinion of myself/ wife and son we are happy to give it a 10 rating.

Excellent apartment, The apartment is big good enough and clean. Facilities are amazing. The apartment owner was so kind and hospitality was good enough. The apartment has wifi and car parking which are more important. Looking forward to stay there again. Thanks for all.

If you want to visit Albert and the WW I musea and sights, this is your best option, very quiet area and really close to

It was a delight staying here. The house ( much bigger then a appartement) is spatious and has an excellent shower and kitchen. the beds are very comfortabel. the host is very friendly and has a gift or two for every visitor.

only a minor tip, the lights in the living area are very bright, switch it to a lower wattage, that would make it more cosy.

Very welcoming host, the pate and futgs were a lovely surprise, accommodation is spotless has everything you need and a perfect location for battlefield touring

Excellent location and quiet. Jose was very nice, he met us with fruit and Pate, he showed us around the house. Clean and tidy. Plenty of parking.

The property looks brand new (albeit that the first visitor stayed there in 2018!). It was modern, clean and had everything that I/we wished. It is in a residential area so it was quiet. It is well located with there places that I wanted to be under a mile away. Off road parking for at least 3 cars!

Small things, can there be a hook on the bathroom/toilet door (to hang dressing gowns on). A mirror in the bedrooms to enable the ladies to dry their hair.

A pleasant stay, Jose was an excellent host.

Breakfast not included. The Apartment was about a ten minute walk from the centre of Albert which has several pleasant and affordable restaurants as well as the famous WW1 museum.

Excellent - would definitely recommend to friends / family and would make a return visit.

The apartment was very close to the town centre but was also in a quieter residential area which was excellent. Plenty of space and anything we needed was accommodated for by the owner.

Albert's beautiful apartment

Everything. So homely and beautiful host's who will do anything for you. The apartment is well equipped and the hot shower was the best ever. Home made pate and fresh eggs from the chickens. The cat who I called Roger was friendly and loved our left overs. Would recommend to anyone .

Fabulous stay with the best hosts

We were met at the station and taken to the cottage. Marie and Jose were the most wonderful hosts. We enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens, fresh produce from the garden and always very eager to assist.

Nothing about the property but you should be aware it is a good walk to down if you do not have a vehicle.
