Ok mais sans plus

L’emplacement.

On a l’impression que de petites économies d’argent se font partout : le lit fait 140cm au lieu de 160cm, la pression d’eau baisse la nuit, le jacuzzi est tiède, le chauffe serviette de la salle de bain ne fonctionne pas, il n’y a pas d’essuies pour le spa,… bref, plein de petites choses pas grave mais qui donnent une impression de laisser aller, voir d’économies maladroites, personnel pas désagréable, mais un peu distant.

De gezellige sfeer van hotel de commerce

Het ontbijt is een absolute opkikker. Alles is vers. Wij keken uit naar de lekkere zalm met vers gebakken brood die je naar believen kon bijvullen. Luxe! Alles was aanwezig. De ligging was enorm gunstig. De start van de wandelingen ligt dicht en het hotel wordt verder omringd door gezellige horeca. Zeer tevreden over het personeel. Zeer vriendelijk, elke dag verse handdoeken en een proper gemaakte kamer (onze wandelschoenen lieten soms ongewenste sporen na). Zeer gezellige sfeer! Enorm leuk terras aan de overkant met verse pizza's en pasta die je doorheen de dag kan bestellen.

De bedden en kussens waren voor ons wat te hard. Ook de prijskwaliteit van het restaurant vonden we te duur, waardoor we afhaken om daar samen als jong koppel te eten. We aten er eens een dessert, na een late lunch. Ik vond 12,5 euro voor een bijna volledig gesmolten ijsje dan toch een tegenvaller.

Zeer goed hotel.

Ik ben al heel vak in hotels geweest, hier was alles goed maar het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. Wat hier allemaal op het buffet stond heb ik nog nooit gezien en het was verrukkelijk.

Douchen moest je in het bad doen, en om te voorkomen dat de douche helmaal nat gespetterd zou worden zou er op zijn minst een douchegordijn tussen moeten hangen. Ook het dakraam ( wij hadden een kamer op de bovenste verdieping) kon men niet op verschillende standen open zetten. In Januari 2025 Worden de kamers gerenoveerd en dit zijn weltrusten waar ze dan wat mee kunnen doen.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in leuk hotel en prachtige omgeving.

Hotel heeft een Heerlijk ontbijt en mooie sauna/Haman om te ontspannen. Hotel is centraal gelegen met schone kamers en goede bedden.

Restaurant kon drukte in de avond niet aan, moesten een uur wachten op onze gereserveerde tafel uiteindelijk ergens anders gaan eten. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en van goede wil maar hebben de organisatie niet op orde.

Gutes Hotel in Kleinstadt mit landschaftlich attraktiver Umgebung.

Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Sehr gutes, aber recht teures Hotelrestaurant. Preiswertes Gartenrestaurant am Fluß.

Es gibt keinen Senf beim Frühstück ;-)

Aangenaam verblijf.

Great location for a stay in Houffalize

Great location in the centre. The breakfast was really good.

Rooms were a bit dated and no indoor bar/lounge area. Unfortunately very noisy guests with screaming and doors slamming which was a shame.

Beautiful stay. They took care of us.

We stayed for a long weekend with the half board package and were very well taken care of. The buffet breakfast was good though if you got there late, tough luck. The dinners were good, though there weren't options to choose from which was unexpected. The town and surrounding forest was so charming and lovely, and besides a spot of bad weather, we had an excellent trip. Absolutely would come again.

Some noise from other rooms, not having even a couple of options to choose from with dinner.

Good stay in Houffalize

Friendly staff, room had a lot of space. You can bring a dog. There is a restaurant in the hotel and you automatically get a table reserved for you. That's good service.

The room looked clean in the beginning, but I accidentally spilled some water and used a towel to clean it up. The towel was brown all over. They should wet clean the floor more often. Not a big issue for me and I don't have a comparison to other hotels where I haven't done this before.

Nice and cosy hotel in a nice location. Super friendly staff. Recommended.

breakfast was excellent, including sparkling wine. Nice selection of breads, coldcuts, etc. Bacon, eggs, granolas, yoghurt, all the stuff you expect in a 4 star hotel breakfast. Dinner was excellent. I had the Grey shrimp croquets that were excellent, and the Italian Steak which was fabulous!! Highly recommended. I took a nice bottle of Montepulciano d' Abruzzo which was excellent value for money.

The bathroom was a little dated and could use a little freshening up. Everything was very clean, it's just that it showed wear and tear, especially in the shower, which is a little unfortunate. The room was correct and clean, but the bathroom was in my opinion not 4* level. I have to admit I took the basic room, but that shouldn't matter, in the sense that it is still a 4* hotel.

Not quite Four Star

Dog friendly, bar and restaurant on site, free parking at the hotel, lift to all floors, excellent breakfast. The room TV had English channels.

Net curtains in room 218 were filthy, the room temperature was low and could not be controlled by guests, and the water in the shower was lukewarm - we reported this to reception but there was no improvement.

Superb

Front desk staff and breakfast staff were wonderful and helpful. Of special note, they arranged an early breakfast for us ahead of our hike. Excellent breakfast each morning. Some of the best fresh breads and granola I've had. Hotel is centrally located with plenty of eating and drinking options near by.

Great location on main route to Bastogne.

Free parking anywhere in the city. Located on a main route. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff

Most of the staff, including the restaurant staff understood very little English, except the lady at check in. She was wonderful! Bathroom needed updating & repair of grouting. No safety bars in very narrow European tub/shower. Could have used softer pillows & duvet; they were too bulky & hard/lumpy.
