Hotel mit guter Lage am Fjord

Unkompliziertes Checkin. Gute Betten. Schöne Lage am Fjord. Für eine Nacht ok.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Insbesondere das Bad. Ein Fön wäre schön gewesen.

Hotel als Durchreisestation für 1 - 2 Nächte

Lage im Ortszentrum. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür. Frühstücksraum im unteren Geschoß 24 h mit Selbstbedienung einschließlich Kaffee/Tee brühen. Zimmerschlüssel über Schlüssselbox. Kostenloses Pool-Billard (wir hatten einen total verregneten Tag). Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hoteleingang

Total unbesetztes Hotel, außer einer Reinigungskraft. Telefonischer Kontakt zur Rezeption auf englisch möglich, kommt dann gegebenenfalls vorbei.

Det var rent og der var gode senger.

Var ikke klar over at det var selvbetjening. Fikk hjelp av gjest til å finne nøkler. Der var ingen glass på rommet. Hentet i frokostrommet.

Great town, great place

The room was just so nice and comfortable. Even some heat in the bathroom and a little piece of chocolate on the bed. Great place for a great price

Exceptional

The receptionist was very helpful and kind. Breakfast buffet had good variety, also there was a microwave that one can use at any time (we didn't find any restaurant open at the time, so it was great to have option to heat up some food from a supermarket). Very spacious and clean room.

The curtain in our room was a bit short, didn't cover the window fully. But it was enough to make the room sufficiently dark to sleep. Sound isolation could be better.

1970s style hotel, but it does the job. Nice and helpful reception lady. Would come back

Hotel located in the center of the village, 50 m from the lake, walking distance from the Salmon river. Large room, we had view on the lake (with roofs in between us and the lake). Reception was closed (sunday) but I called the telephone number written on the reception's door, the lady answered immediately, the key was available in a safe box, no problem. The day after, reception lady was there, very kind and helpful, she is alone to run the hotel, so quite a busy task, but she was fantastic. Breakfast was varied and good, on a self-service basis. Parking right in front of the hotel, so convenient ! Reasonably priced.

The hotel has a 70s feel, bathroom was old-fashioned (but functional) with shower curtain (like almost everywhere in Norway), so overall, in need of a upgrade, but it definitively has a style... The village is quite small, so limited food and entertainment options, specially on a sunday evening, although mid-august...

Great stay! Exceed the expectations!

The hotel has a great location, the view from the room is spectacular. The room was really huge, very clean and with heated floor in the bathroom. The breakfast was pre-made, but you can find everything you need there: from musli to yogurt etc. Free parking in front of the hotel. The hotel also has a nice common living room with children corner and billiard.

The building looks not so great from outside.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Quite simple hotel but had everything we needed. Nice little self-serve breakfast room which exceeded our expectations. Lots of things to choose from.

Unfortunately, some of the bread provided in the breakfast room was moldy.

Superb

Lovely room, has underfloor heating in the shower. Room overlooking the lake. The dining room is open all the time. Good breakfast. There is a supermarket nearby. Quiet room with double door. And the hostess was lovely! Thank you very much, highly recommend.

Quick stop on a road trip off Norway.

So we stayed at this hotel before the start of the tourist season and a couple of months after Norway opened up from COVID, so hard to know if our experience would be typical. This is a decent hotel in a small town. We arrived after hours (~6:30 PM) and had to call to get checked in, receptionist was there in a few minutes. Breakfast was all pre made in a refrigerated display case and was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Good value.

Bargain, self service hotel

Nice location almost directly on the waterfront. Great, self-service breakfast available, I had breakfast at 06:00 and was able to make an early start on my travels.

Simple and effective short stay.

Nice location in a sleepy little seaside town. Room was very large. Free parking out the front. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast had plenty of options (but no hot food due to covid).

Shower didn't drain properly, as there was a blockage somewhere in the plumbing. When we used the sink, the water came up into the shower. Room was also very cold, so we had to switch on the heater for a while. The room door deadlock didn't work, so we could not properly secure the door overnight.
