cruel and unusual audiotory punishment. stay away

there was water in the shower? the bed was horisontal.

there is no soundproofing whatsoever. the neigbours played karaoke until 4am, and it sounded like they were in my bedroom the whole night. you can hear everything that goes on in the hotel, all the time. i have spent more than 6 years travelling the world, and rarely have I been so dismayed and unhappy with a place as I was when I got woken around 6am by loud noice outside my door. my Apple Watch recorded 70 decibel inside my room at 2am. Also I realize that the receptionist charged me more at check in than the price of the booking was..

You get what you pay for

Easy booking, just 15 minutes away from the airport, late check-in/check-out, cheap price

"Walls of Paper" - you can hear every little noise from everywhere, especially the TV of the receptionist, the area around is not very nice, rooms are as easy as possible

Pleasant

Staff were helpful, did our washing for free and drove us to the collectivo station. Didn't speak any english so a lot was lost in translation.

There is really no need to spend a night in Tumbes, not a lot to do there. In hindsight i would have spent a night a little further away and got a bus to the airport

Walking distance to town, plaza, ampltheater, restaurants. A bus terminal was 1 block east of the hotel.
