Matera is a unique place and this accommodation was the cherry on top

The others have already written everything, free parking in a quiet street in front of the entrance, friendly host, extremely pleasant and attractive arrangement of the two-story accommodation under the stone vault, very spacious, looks even better than in the pictures. Overall, the accommodation is a great alternative to cave accommodation in walking distance to the old city. If the price suits you, you cannot go wrong by choosing this accommodation.

Walking distance from the old town is 20 minutes, which seems much more after walking around the city all day. One day we spared our daughter (and ourselves :) ) and went to town with the car. During the day you can occasionally hear and feel vibration of the train.

Mooi en stijlvol ingericht huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Een aanrader

Prachtig ingericht huis, mooie uitstraling en gedetailleerd ingericht. Vriendelijke en behulpzame ontvangst. De gastheer deed er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Er lag van alles voor ons klaar in de koelkast.

In tegenstelling wat er op booking.com is vermeld is er geen buitenzitje. Het heeft ons niet gestoord, maar mag dan niet benoemd worden als faciliteit. De ondergrondse trein hoor je goed tussen 06.00 uur en 23.00 uur. Daartussen is het rustig en slaap je prima.

A very good value!!

Parking was very convenient. Spacious apartment. Everything was very clean. Antonio was super accommodating with the help of google translate! The bed was very comfortable.

While the bed was great the sheets weren’t! The fitted sheet would not stay tucked in and the plastic mattress cover was also a slippery, crackly nuisance.

Lovely host who was very accomodating and great with providing maps for the area. Exceptionally clean place that is very well looked after! Two bathrooms, very modern, well stocked, kitchen and air conditioners / heatpumps that were very effective. Highly recommend!

Location is about a 20 / 30 mins walk into the central part of town. Was not a problem for us as it is a straightforward walk down the main road.

Very comfortable and convenient

It is a big space with all that you might need! 2 floors with 2 bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Antonio was extremely friendly and he finds a way to communicate in English.

It is not in the historical centre but it takes only 15/20 min walking

The property is so spacious and spotless!Antonio was very helpful despite not speaking any English...he made full use of a translating app and we managed just fine.
