Garden View is ideally situated, between Dartmoor National Park and the English Riviera, near Newton Abbot with its easy access to main line railway and motorway networks.
The property is a mid 18th Century Apple Barn that was converted to living accommodation in the 1960’s.
The apartment has retained some of its original stone features making it cool in summer and cosy in winter, with an electric log burner in the lounge and gas central heating in each room.
The apartment is on ground level and has been refurbished to a high standard and includes all the facilities to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The apartment is spacious and clean and had everything we needed during our stay. It overlooks a very pretty and well maintained garden and is situated in a very quaint village. The apartment is within walking distance of local amenities (shops, bus stops and restaurants) and is well situated to visit Torquay, Paignton and Brixham by car. We received a nice welcome from the owners alongside some tasty scones and jam. The apartment is in a very peaceful location and we enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

The property was everything you would want. Well set up for guests. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Located in a central position making it ideal to visit places in all directions. Overall a most enjoyable holiday.

A beautiful property in a stunning location, spotlessly clean, and everything is provided for you, just need your toiletries (there are some supplies too) and food. Gill and Michael went above and beyond our expectations, highly recommended to family and friends, looking forward to our next visit.

Extremely well equipped and maintained property. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. From welcoming cream tea to a bottle of bubbly on Christmas Day. Delightful place with narrow hilly roads but easy access onto the main link roads

There is really nothing to fault with this place. When I arrived I was greeted by name, the place was spotless and warm and ready for me to move in for my stay. The owners were simply wonderful and just let me get on with it, but were handy on site if I needed them. I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone who needs a place to stay to explore what the wonderful county of Devon has to offer.

We've just got home after a great stay. We had a very busy week and the apartment was perfectly placed for us to get to all the places we needed to get to easily. A welcome pack including a cream tea was such a lovely extra touch. The friendly owners and their beautiful cat made for a great stay. Thank you

Lovely welcome pack with tea/coffee, cereal, milk, bread, butter and biscuits. Spotless throughout. Beautiful location which I imagine is even more beautiful when it's not pouring with rain! Lovely welcome from owners would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

Great apartment, very nice people. Everything you need plus a few extra unexpected treats such as cream tea and chocolates for Easter. I would say one thing and that is, the pictures do not do this apartment justice, it's much better than the pictures show. We will return.

Very nice apartment everything you need and more, owners left welcome pack of essentials and Devon clotted cream, jam ands scones very nice. We're so glad we discovered Garden View Apartment. We needed somewhere convenient when visiting an elderly relative in South Devon, and this is just the place: we had no hesitation in coming back here. So spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed to look after ourselves for a few days. The hosts' attention to detail is exemplary, so we felt we were having a holiday, not just on a visit of duty. Who needs hotels!

Wonderfully warm welcome, cream tea on arrival we stayed at Christmas and lounge was decorated with tree was a lovely thought. Very high standard of cleaning, everything you could possibly need for a stay away and more. Fine detention to detail very highly recommended will return again

The property was really lovely we could not ask for anymore. We have all intentions of coming again. Jill & Mike were lovely hosts we had a lovely vase of flowers AND a cream tea to welcome us to the flat. The flat had everything we could ask for and more.

The whole of this apartment has been finished to a high standard and there is ample room for two people. It was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The owners provided us with a cream tea on arrival and there were also some tea bags, coffee and sugar sachets, a carton of long-life milk, washing up liquid and sponge, and a full soap dispenser in the kitchen and bathroom. The owners themselves were very hospitable without being intrusive - a perfect combination.
