Lucca lovely, lots of bars and restaurants. Would not recommend this accommodation.

Very central location though situated on a busy road with no ability to park up and unload luggage. No signage for the b&b to see when driving. Tiny plaque on the door.

Very rude host (tall bald man) when I queried it was a "deluxe suite" but had no sitting area, no mini bar in room and no fridge! Although all were listed on the details. He said sitting area was communal (across the hall and though the permanently locked reception area. Likewise outside terrace. Fridge he said was broken (with a shrug). A fridge was very important to us as we were on a long road trip. Bathroom tiny. Monstrosity ceiling light not in keeping with the building. I queried a discount for our two nights. He threw a 20 euro note, said ciao and slammed the door! We never saw him again for the rest of our stay. Charming man. Every hotel/b&b we have stayed in as had same facilities though not over stated as a deluxe suite.

Ottima struttura a pochi passi dal centro di Lucca. Da provare

Ho apprezzato la posizione ottima, comoda e subito nel centro della città. La vista sull'ingresso del centro ottima. Comodo il parcheggio a 10 minuti a piedi dalla struttura. L'edificio storico rende l'atmosfera di un palazzo storico toscano: molto bello!

Abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà nell'utilizzo di una delle chiavi, dovuta probabilmente all'età del palazzo (o della porta di accesso alla stanza). Avrei preferito trovare in bagno un sapone per le mani, oltre alle monodosi di bagnoschiuma. La doccia non si chiudeva bene, quindi abbiamo dovuto farla in fretta, per cercare di non allagare il bagno.

Una piacevole esperienza

Bellissima casa, appartamenti comodi e spaziosi all'interno di una palazzina d'epoca nel centro storico di Lucca, adiacente alle mura (comodo anche per entrare in auto per scaricare i bagagli). Arredata con gusto e con mobili d'epoca, piena di libri negli spazi comuni, caminetto, salotto, grande terrazzo.

Mi è piaciuto tutto, giusto come miglioria, se possibile, organizzerei anche la colazione negli spazi comuni, comunque sono a disposizione cialde per il caffè e il thè

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in sehr guter Lage mit guter Ausstattung - ich komme wieder

Die Lage ist hervorragend, um Lucca kennenzulernen. Die Familiensuite ist sehr praktisch und ein Zimmer ist schön hell. Es hat große Fenster auf zwei Seiten, dieses Zimmer ist geräumig. Das andere Zimmer ist Durchgangszimmer auf dem Weg zum Hauptzimmer. Es stehen Bademäntel zur Verfügung. Frühstück wird nicht angeboten, aber man kann problemlos in vielen naheliegenden Bars ein Frühstück einnehmen, mit frischen, herzhaft belegten Foccaccia und Süßstückchen. Oder man kann das Frühstück einkaufen und auf der Gemeinschaftsterrasse einnehmen. Diese ist mit Terassenmöbeln ausgestattet und ruhig mit Aussicht auf einen Park. Der wunderschön eingerichtete Wohnzimmerbereich zur gemeinsamen Nutzung war eine sehr schöne Überraschung.

Die Familiensuite liegt zur Straßenseite. Es gibt nicht viel Autoverkehr, da die Stadt verkehrsberuhigt ist, aber die Straße ist sehr belebt mit Fußgängern, Vespas, Radfahrern. Wer also absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier nicht ganz richtig. Wer aber eine landestypische belebte Atmosphäre schätzt, ist hier genau richtig.

Apartment very close to the city center. Safe free parking about 300m from property, but you can stay your car for a few minutes in front of the building to leave bagagges . Confortable room. Very good choice for staying in Lucca.

Lovely property within “mura urbane”, but probably better in warmer weather.

Great location, good-sized rooms with large common area. Only 1 min walk to Lucca city walls, restaurants.

No breakfast available although Booking.com website said there was. When asked where breakfast was, manager pointed outside and indicated we had to go to a bar. Not so great when we had friends with us with two toddlers. Also, older building that was cold, drafty. We had to ask manager several times to turn on/turn up heat. Eventually we got things straightened out. Lastly we were very disappointed that smell of cigarette smoking pervasive in common areas.

A beautiful property in an excellent location right next to Porta San Gervasio and Villa Bottini in the centro storico of Lucca. The reception area and rooms are well furnished and have an opulent feel. One of our rooms had a view of Porta San Gervasio. The ZTL starts just past the hotel so you can safely drive right to the front door (from Porta Elisa) to drop off your baggage without a permit. There's a large terrace as part of the common area overlooking the grounds of the Villa Bottini. We hope to return in the summer to enjoy that terrace!

The only fault I could find with the hotel was that the WiFi signal was very weak in the rooms. It only worked in the common area.

Large, clean and cosy room with beautiful view on San Gervasio Tower. The whole appartement is beautiful. I had good contact with the owner, was helpful. I would return there if I can.

Should be more soap in the bathroom, water is getting hot slowly under shower.

Would highly recommend this place!

What a great place to stay!! Pireo was very kind and accommodating and the room was clean, comfortable and a great location. Breakfast was great. We loved our stay, wish we would have stayed in Lucca longer.

the location was easy to find the building is really beautiful the patio was comfortable wifi was good in the whole place coffee maker and kettle in the room nice towels and bathrobes

I arranged a time to meet the owner but he didn’t show. after waiting for hours I finally reached someone to let me in Rented a 2 bedroom suite with my mom so we would have privacy but the bathroom was set up so you needed to walk through the other person’s bedroom. Both rooms had bathrooms but he wouldn’t unlock the other unless we paid an extra 60 euro Ad offers breakfast buffet but it wasn’t available

Memorable (highlight) stay over for all the best reasons!

Great welcome, bicycle storage, beautiful historical building sympathetically and stylishly modernised - spacious rooms, fantastic location, huge roof top terrace, hot drinks in room with fridge & safe available, secure, helpful in securing us a ( great!) restaurant reservation in amphitheater within an hour of our arrival on Saturday night! Brilliant place to stay 😊 Apologies we didn’t write in visitors book! we were too busy having a lovely time!

We stayed 2 nights - could have done with more than 4 coffee pods for 3

The host was very friendly and helpful. At our arrival he provided a map and pointed out the must visit spots of the town, as well as other useful recommendations. The room and bathroom were clean, spacious and decorated with style. After the checkout, we could leave our luggage in the apartment for a few hours. Unfortunately due to the weather we could not have breakfast on the terrace, but the leaving room is beautiful with admirable furniture and paintings.

Our host, Pietro was wonderful. The room was in a great location, had a lovely deck and was clean, spacious and well cooled (had A/C!!!)
