Perfect gem in Anglesey

It's in a perfect spot to explore Anglesey. Short drive to Beaumaris, Transport Museum etc, etc.. We were in Anglesey for other reasons and made the most of our stay whilst there. Everything was comfortable, clean, you had everything you needed and more. Shops not far away for bits and pieces. Just perfect. What this gem has over hotels, is privacy, quiet, relaxation, jacuzzi (our boys loved it, best thing ever!!!!!!❤️), also it's just beautiful. Thank you to Sally. She is lovely. Don't bother with hotels, stay here. It's so worth it. If we ever come to Anglesey again, this is where we are staying again.

The location is very convenient for our family holiday. It is only a short drive to the attractions. The house is very clean. If you usually live in hotels during travel, it is actually cleaner.

The WiFi is not enough to stream Netflix or YouTube. But finally the kids can stay away from them for a few days.

Brilliant place to stay for a chilled out holiday

Self catering so no food. Lovely big lounge and well equipped kitchen area, only 2 of us in accommodation for 6 so lots of room. Clean, lots of extras to make life comfortable. Hot tub was brilliant, on a good terrace which was a sun trap. Comfortable bed, huge telly.

Possibly a bit far out of town, but we did walk it, and pavements all the way. View from the decking was a bit of a mess, field being dug up, but we just looked in the opposite direction!

Absolutely Brilliant stay !!

Whole experience of the Lodge was amazing, Good communication before arrival, easy directions, and a very warm welcoming. The lodge was spotlessly clean, very very comfortable, there is everything you need, kitchen facilities were great, really fresh soft lining and towels. Beds are super comfy, we never slept so well !! also recycling bins for use etc, which was great, as I am very environment friendly. You can control your own temperature, which is good. Loads of information about local area, including lots of walks for all levels of fitness. The location was absolutely perfect, 2 minutes drive or a 20 / 30 minutes walk to local village which had a few bars, restaurants, Tescos, a great Indian takeway, plus Finneys chippy. If you want a peaceful comfortable break this is definitely what you will receive. Thank you to all the great weekend !!

A Lovely modern, clean and private lodge in the Welsh island of Anglesey.

it was very modern, clean, private and well presented. one of the better quality cabin I have been to. Although it is quite rural there are many villages and things to do around the lodge. if you can dive there are things less than 10 minutes away to access shops and pubs etc. The owners are lovely and leave you be, once you have everything you need on arrival & they are very informative before you arrive to the cabin.

There’s not a lot to say about the dislike’s. The master bed was very firm and it wasn’t to our preference but it felt like a good quality mattress. secondly you could smell drains while outside and in the main bathroom. we understood that this wasn’t to be helped but it wasn’t a pleasant smell, my partner figured it was the soil stack (toilet waste pipe) behind the lodge. it was easy to forget about the smell and it didn’t bother us too much.

A relaxing countryside getaway, perfect for a couple or group.

Sally met me at check-in and gave us a tour of the lodge, and got us familiar with all parts concerning what we'd need for our stay. The facilities were perfect, especially liked the en suite shower in the main bedroom. The hot tub was ready for when we arrived too, so we didn't need to wait until using it. Sally made it known that she was always on hand to help with anything we needed, and also to provide advice or recommendations if struggling to look for somewhere to go or something to do.

There were a few times we struggled with a wifi connection. However I do understand this can just be to do with the location and not the facilities or the host. Sally sent instructions on how to find the lodge, however we were arriving when it was dark which made us struggle to find it initially as the narrow country road aren't lit by streetlight. Once we rung Sally she was able to guide us to the lodge without an issues.

Lovely hosts and nice lodge just needs tweaking.

Location was fabulous. hosts were great, very friendly. Loved the ensuite facility, but needed a good clean, just dusting. Very specious lodge, The hosts gave us extra towels which was fabulous. Hot tub was amazing.

The property could do with a good spring clean. More instructions how to use the washer/dryer which we could not get to grips with. Owner tried to help. The dishwasher and cooker were the same, more instructions needed. Toiletries in bathrooms would have been nice. Also the internet could have been better intermediate. The smart tv would not reach to the bedrooms, so tv's pixelated, The internet cut out even when own data. Maybe new extender needed. Netflix would not work in them. Needs new sofas.

A very cosy, comfortable get away.

Everything was perfect, loved the placed. Amazing shower, nice bath, decent cooking facilites, comfy bed. Jucuzzi was a nice touch as well. Everything you need for a nice get away. Only half hour drive from any kinda supermarket which was handy. Amazing views with Snowdon not too far away. Worth every penny.

Beautiful surroundings

the location was beautiful and the chickens roaming around were so cute, the lodge was really spacious and comfortable and it had everything you could need, and our host was really kind when we met her as well.

the hot tub wasn't on properly one day (but that was sorted out straight away) and a lot of the cups and plates had dirt on them when we arrived

Such a lovely lodge, very clean and equipped with absolutely everything you need, your not over looked by anyone so plenty of privacy, the beds are so comfy too, we had such a wonderful time, highly recommended

Lovely accommodation, ruined by hostile host.

Location was great, nice field around the lodge for sunset watching / little evening stroll. tesco express and beach short drive away from lodge. Lodge itself had most things needed, ie pots/ pans/ utensils/ plates for cooking (need to bring own sugar/tea/coffee). bedrooms nice and clean with towels provided. Pleasant shower with good power and temperature.

Bathrooms lacked hand wash Host has been hostile, patronising and rude. Started the moment we had called to give her a heads up on arrival time. Abruptly barged in on us, whilst in the hot tub, not introducing herself, threatening to kick us out, telling us to go to bed (as if we were children), calling us "girls" in a patronising manner and telling us "this is not that kind of place" - when it was just myself and my friends in the hot tub, with music and talking/laughing. Not for people who like to laugh / enjoy hot tub after 11pm with moderate level of music in the background. We were forced to turn music off and leave the hot tub. No signs / instructions saying what time hot tub can or cannot be used. Very much on edge, constantly considering to keep music levels down. Really ruined the whole experience.

Great stay at a lovely lodge!

The lodge was lovely. Decorated nicely, great facilities. The host was lovely and it wasn't too far from the coast.

Little things would have been nice. Like tea, coffee and shower gel. This would have made the stay exceptional. If you are staying, i'd advise taking these items as you have to buy them and end up with 75 unneeded teabags. The hot tub was also cold towards the end of our stay, which wasn't ideal. But the host did mention repairs so hopefully it will be sorted soon.
