Ein empfehlenswerter Kurzaufenhalt

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch wenn es zunächst ein Problem gab. Die Nähe zum Nord-Ostsee-Kanal war toll. Das Frühstück war - auch wegen der fleißigen Mitarbeiterin - exzellent.

Should’ve been great but just didn’t live up to expectations

Right on the cycle path with cycle storage on offer. A very comfortable room. The evening meal was delicious.

Dinner service was atrocious and we waited 80 minutes to get our food. The restaurant was reasonably full but everything seemed to be disrupted by a local party event going on in the function room. The kitchen just didn’t cope. Breakfast was a ‘bun fight’. 13 tables and too many people at 8 am. Then they ran out of tea bags! (black tea type, as in breakfast tea). Wifi was hopeless throughout the hotel. To be fair I got a small discount when I complained about dinner but I’d rather have eaten on time.

Werde gerne wiederkommmen, sobald ich wieder in Rendsburg bin, Lieblingshotel dort gefunden!

Tolle Lage direkt am Kanal, auch vom Balkon und Restaurant konnte man den Kanal beobachten. Guter und ausreichend großer Parkplatz. Gutes Restaurant. Tolle Idee zur Nachhaltigkeit (bei Verzicht auf die Reinigung, konnte man sich an der Minibar bedienen). Kosmetik von L´Occitane im Bad.

Die Desserts im Restaurant waren nicht so gut, wie sie klangen. Kein Wasserkocher und somit kein Tee / Kaffee auf dem Zimmer, lediglich in der Lobby.

Een goed verzorgd en onderhouden hotel op uitstekende locatie.

De ligging naast het kanaal zorgt voor mooi kijkvertier. Goede fietsen te huur, vriendelijk personeel.

Ontbijt mag iets meer uitgebreid.

Fabulous location for a ship enthusiast and luxury standard of accommodation.

Location close to pedestrian tunnel and room with view of shipping on canal was important to me. It was great to hire a bicycle from the hotel. Very ample facilities in the suite. Good breakfast and a superb dinner.

More that I would usually spend. The luxurious suite was intended for 2 so rather an expensive luxury for one.

restaurant was not available to go into when arrived, probably means it was good quality but meant I had to find somewhere local after traveling, the bar was only open certain days too.

Clean Hotel without “soul”

Pictures on booking.com are far from reality. It is a hotel without any soul, cold atmosphere. Shower cabin a bit small. Unnecessary ugly rug under and around the bed.

Pretty good, staff are always freindly. Nicole on reception is particularly helpful and freindly.

I always stay here when they have availability.

The bar is still not open after covid lockdown, and it used to be the only place to watch football. They do not have sports channels in the room.

Good experience!

The rooms are big and very clean. The hotel staff was friendly and there were Corona measures in place. In addition, the hotel restaurant is very nice! Overall was a good experience.

Not too much to complain about...maybe just the price is too high for the value, but this might be because there is no serious competition in Rendsburg. Another thing I did not like was the fact I could not book a room with balcony. There are only a few available and the price is aprox. 30-40% higher.

Nog enough personnel could not have dinner. First saying fully booked restaurant and that I had to book in advance. Bar was also closed. Later on they admitted not enough personnel. Fish was not tasty, and not listening to requests like for instance a question like asking for pommes instead of potatoes. I have been here many times but this was below usual standard.

Not as hoped for

Nice and clean - and fine breakfast

We had book a room with a view to the river - and we could see river, so in principle correct, but the view was mostly the rooftops of the hotel. In the reception they said “you have ordered economic room” - however when I booked it was called “comfort double room” on Booking.com. In the evening we asked for a cup of coffee at the restaurant around 21.45 - the nice girl said maybe with a kind smile. She had to ask the chef - he just looked at her with no answer - just looked kind of angry - and we asked whether that was a “no” and she said yes that was a “no”. It was a very unpleasant experience - such a nice waitress. A kind “no” from the chef would have been perfectly okay - but he made us feel very “unwanted”. So not so pleasant experience .

Executiveroom with balcony and channelview

The room is big enough with two comfortable chairs and a big comfy bed. View over NOK is nice and with the boats passing by, really enjoying. The Staff is welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is best in town. But honestly, the rest of the restaurants are not worth a detour. The hotel is furnished and decorated in a modern and almost nordic chic way. Nice! I really think we will return to this hotel.

Superb

Check in was fast and easy. Room was quiet and clean. Parking was easy and the restaurant attached was convenient. Beds are European firm and pillows are European soft. Gas station nearby was also convenient since this place is somewhat away from the highway.

Water pressure was just okay. No toiletry kit, which seems unusual for a 4-star rated hotel.

Excellent staff, hotel and stay.

Room was perfect. Staff were excellent. Enjoyable experience and would definitely stay here again.

Wifi could have been better as it struggled to reach my room. Ended up using my phone hot spot.
