Great!

Everything we needed for a short stay, clean rooms, welcoming hosts and a reasonably short walk into the city centre. They even had a washing machine that we were allowed to use. Would definitely recommend!

Good location and clean

The facilities are well taken care of and clean. Location is good: close to the main station and about 15 to 20 minutes walking distance to the old city. Supermarkets are also close by.

Sound proofing was not great. Had a private room (for better sleep) but because it was located next to the main entrance and because of a lack of sound proofing I woke up several times from people coming in the evening, leaving in the early morning, or talking in the hallway. A little bit of a wet smell coming from the wall. The kitchen in the common area was not well equipped for proper cooking. The common area (which was basically the kitchen) was also not really made for socializing as it only had a table with four chairs and there was a dorm room right next to it. Then again this accommodation is not advertised as a hostel so this is only a minor point :)

Excellent value for your money and responsive, helpful owners.

The owners were available to answer some questions I had and help me find a resolution. Check-in was easy and check out the same. The bunks and lockers were as advertised and there is one full bathroom as well as one half-bath/just toilet and sink, for the downstairs 8-bunk area.

Anything I might add here doesn't seem fair, as I believe it was well within the value I paid for and no huge issues came about.

- Haken an der Wand z. B. für nasse Handtücher wären toll - getrennte Räume bei WC und Bad im EG wären angenehmer

Pulizia perfetta anche riguardo i bagni in comune, disponibilità di asciugamani e letti abbastanza comodi. Posizione centrale a 20 minuti a piedi dal centro, 5/10 minuti dai servizi. Possibilità di posteggiare la macchina nel loro cortile

Cozy place, perfect for both shorter and longer trips to Ljubljana

The room was spacious and nicely furnished, the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the possibility to use the cozy common area to eat our meals (there are plates and cutlery available, fridge, electric kettle and microwave) or read on the sofa. As we were working remotely during our stay, we also appreciated the reliable wifi connection. In addition, the owners of the accommodation are very nice and helpful. Overall we had a great time and we'll be back soon!

As the bathroom is shared, its cleanliness depends on the other guests (and their standard of hygiene). The staff cleaned everything properly daily so it wasn't really an issue.

Perfect stay.

Very cosy and clean place in the city center. You will find a fully equipped kitchen and a locker. Towels were provided as well. The owner is a very kind person. I could drop my bag there before check-in.

Quiet neighbourhood, friendly hosts.

Price was OK, if not amazing. Hosts were very welcoming and easy to communicate with when I had to tell them I would be arriving late due to late train from Zagreb. Accommodation is in a quiet neighbourhood.

Some other guests were very noisy quite early one morning, but not much that the hosts could have done about this. Room was a little cramped but this was because a good-sized double-bed dominated the room.

Cozy stay in Ljubljana

Small and cozy place to stay- ideal if you're looking for a quieter place to chill out- but it's easy to meet other travellers too. I was ill so extended my stay here, and the hosts were very understanding. It is within walking distance of the bus and train station and the city centre.

Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Washing machine available for use.

Bit cramped having 8 in one small room and only one shower. Kitchen needs more to make it useful. Only one (blunt) knife. Location is a bit out of the town, but only a 20 min walk.

I quite enjoyed my stay at Lina Rooms, it was in a relatively good location, maybe a 15 minute walk to the main area. The beds were quite comfortable, lockers provided as well as a washing machine. The room was also very well air conditioned, which we really appreciated. Check in and check out were very easy and the staff running the accommodation were efficient and nice. If you're looking for a quieter hostel with a relaxed vibe (and more affordable), this is a good option.

As hostels come, we quite liked it and didn't have any major issues with it.
