You have exclusive use of the large downstairs APARTMENT STYLE residence which is independent from upstairs, is private and includes your own self-contained cooking facilities and under cover outdoor alfresco area, equipped with BBQ.

This luxury apartment style accommodation caters perfectly for those wanting a relaxing weekend or an extended holiday. Enjoy walking along the pristine beach of the Sunset Coast, perfect for swimming, surfing, snorkelling and boating. We are 1.5kms from Hillarys Boat Harbour, which offers restaurants, cafes and bars, family entertainment such as The Great Escape, AQWA, the Naturaliste Marine Discovery Centre and Rottnest Fast Ferries. Five star pub "The Breakwater".

Our license does not permit us to host functions (parties/celebrations etc).

• Public (bus) transport just 100 metres away. Perth city 20 minutes drive (outside of
commuter traffic).

The Beach Retreat, is an excellent property. It is very clean and well appointed. The location is excellent. We felt very comfortable staying and would happily stay there again. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodation.

This is a great place to stay for a weekend or a week, close to the Hillary's boat harbour. Plenty of room with a basic kitchen and relaxing outdoor area. Generous queen size beds rooms. Up-to-date appliances and full laundry. Recommended.

The rooms and bathroom were large and comfortable. The separate outdoor area was lovely and the close proximity to the beach was a bonus and only a 25 minute walk to Hillarys Boat Harbour.

The property is easy to locate just off West coast drive. On approach to the property it looked clean,stylish and well presented. On entry to your stay you are greeted by one of the best Host you could want to meet, Howard will take you through everything and show the in's and out's of their Luxury holiday stay. Whilst the owner lives upstairs ,( I find this a positive should anything go wrong), You are completely seperated and privately hid from them and allowing to function as a family would on holiday. The property is close to all amenities for shopping centres to Chemists to butchers, Doctors and also Hillaries Boat harbour. Should by some small chance you have an issue the owners response is swift and problem solved in a moment and your privacy and holiday time back to normal. There is a huge undercover area from the back door outwards and you are so protected from the elements, this area would allow a great outdoor winter escape which makes this holiday stay facility an all weather all year Holiday property. This was our first experience and loved it and we will be back for more short stays, as we are from wheatbelt WA, it makes it easy to go to Perth stay here do your business and then home or we will use to come and spend time with our our kids that are at Uni . This property comes with our highest of recommendations as does the Host.

We stayed for five weeks and had such a good time we hope to return at the end of the year. Howard and Jen are so friendly and helpful going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay, even providing us with an umbrella for the beach. The bedrooms and bathroom are huge, as is the outside space offering both sun and shade. The accommodation is well equipped with loads of bedding and towels and whilst the kitchen facilities are limited we still managed to eat in most nights.The freezer and washing machine were invaluable for a long stay. The house is in a great location, an easy walk to a fantastic, safe beach and close to public transport with buses to Stirling and Warwick stations calling at Karrinyup shopping mall on the way. Highly recommended.

We had a very relaxing stay while @ the property. Great location with the beach & cafe only a short walk. The propert was very clean and had everything we needed (although limited cooking arrangements... which weren't a problem for us as we made use of the bbq). Howard was a great host..very welcoming & helpful.

We chose the location as it was close to major roads to transit for work; the beach and Keys were a bonus. The house was well set out and large enough to accomodate both of us with separate rooms and spacious living and outdoor areas. The host was very friendly and informative. We will definitely return if an opportunity arises.

Gorgeous beach themed spacious 2 bedroom apartment on the bottom level of the main house. Tranquil garden area out the back and ocean view from the steps out the front. Howard the owner is super nice and accomadating. We felt very comfortably and at home . We will definitely stay again.

Howard welcomed us very warmly to his property and my daughter really enjoyed meeting the cats! His property is lovely and the bedrooms were very spacious. We had everything we needed and I was impressed with the amount of towels, linen and blankets that were available as very often you get the bare minimum. However, I wasn’t aware that one bedroom is quite separate from the others, being off the entrance foyer and had my children been younger, it would have proven quite tricky. Also, I was woken both mornings quite early, as every noise from upstairs travelled downstairs to the foyer and my bedroom. Perhaps some consideration for lessening this issue would be valuable, perhaps having a door that could be closed when guests were using that bedroom (not an issue in the rest of the unit). Aside from that, we had a really enjoyable time. The home is very close to the beaches and Sorrento Quay, which is where we wanted to go. Thank you Howard for looking after us well!

Requiring accommodation while we vacated our property for a week we needed a pet friendly stay. This was perfect even if our slightly stressed dog found the scent of two cats resident upstairs a little exciting and overwhelming. Howard and Jenny were super friendly and welcoming and it was clear they took huge pride in ensuring our comfort and needs were attended to.

Was over from Queensland on business, but wanted to meet up with an old school friend who lives south of Perth. This was the perfect place to stay for our 2 night catch up! Very clean, comfortable, and close to the beautiful coast, and not far from the City. Our hosts, Howard and Jen were lovely and welcoming too. Howard's place exceeded expectations, it was spacious, warm and inviting, clean and well equipped for our short 2 night Easter break. Close to Hillarys and Karrinyup for shopping it was perfect for our stay and we will hopefully be back again. Howard and Jenny were wonderful hosts and so kind in sending back a forgotten item immediately. Thank you for hosting us and our dog.
