Stunning location and property comms 1st class we absolutely loved it a big thank you from the Hardings and the Lamberts

We had a lovely time in Oak Cottage spending my daughter's 21st. Prompt and easy communication from the owner, John to solve couple of things. Having jacuzzi, sauna and fireplaces in your own private time chilling with your family was priceless. We loved the oldest pub in Suffolk, The Four Horseshoes which is only 4 mins drive from the cottage. A beautiful walk after meal toThornham Walks shouldn't be missed! It's just 2 mins drive from the pub! Thanks for your recommendation John! Thanks for looking after us🙏Best wishes

Property manager added some lovely touches when I told him it was our honeymoon. A couple of things went wrong in property but manager was there asap to fix things. Fire place and jacuzzi and sauna were amazing.

We had a little hiccup on arrival as the keys were left in another location, but this was soon rectified with a couple of phone calls and the property manager popped in with a bottle of wine! Thank you. The cottage and outdoor courtyard was beautiful, very relaxing, we loved the hot tub, sauna and outdoor seating area. Inside the beds were very comfy, ample sofa, nice treats left in the kitchen for stay and all in all a lovely four days. We'd definitely come back again for a stay.

Super nice to find this quiet spot to completely relax after our wedding. Loved the hot tub and big sofa.

The property was characterful. Lovely hot tub and jacuzzi. Minor noise (eg dogs barking) from neighbouring properties interfered a little with our stay. Could do with more cereal bowls(!) and be careful if your over 5’ 8” as the low beams will get you every time. 🤕😆

A Break Away
Loved this cottage, it was everything described and more. The property was clean, tidy and cosy and just what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was soft but cosy. Heaven in the middle of nowhere
John and his team set up the cottage beautifully, with lots of lovely romantic touches and gifts. These were icing on a delicious cake, however, as the hot tub and sauna were pure bliss during a cold, snowy weekend. The bed was comfortable enough, if a bit soft for us, and the only toilet being the opposite end of the cottage was a bit frustrating, especially in the middle of the night. The heating worked wonderfully and the cottage stayed cosy all weekend. We didn't cook for ourselves, but pots, pans, oil and salt are all provided so we could have easily.
Thank you for a lovely stay, if we ever want to get away to Suffolk again, we will certainly stay here.

Good Property, full of Character
We had a 4 night stay in this lovely old Cottage. Has everything you need for a self contained getaway. Good Communications with owner as rebooked 2 times due to COVID. Be aware, if you are tall you need to duck to avoid the beams.

Romantic and very beautiful cottage
My partner and I stayed at the cottage for 4 nights. The short break was a part of my 60th birthday celebrations. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, full of character and beautiful features. Just a perfect place for a romantic break where one can relax and enjoy peace and quiet. There was a bottle of Cava in the fridge on our arrival and a small welcoming basket of food which was a lovely touch. There were a few little things that could have been better. There is no parking as such. You have to park on a very narrow and rather busy country lane. There was only one set of the water jets in the jacuzzi that was working to it’s full capacity. The covers for the seats outside were dirty, covered in bird’s droppings. On the first day I tried to get in touch with the agent Rob Smith, called his mobile and left him a message to call me back. He never got in touch so not sure why the name was given to us in the first place. Overall we had a lovely and relaxing break, thank you

Fantastic!
We are so pleased we chose Oak Cottage for our mini moon following our wedding. From the beginning John & Katie responded to all messages promptly and provided so mich information. Check in/check out was extremely easy and they even left us a bottle of bubbles for us to celebrate being newly weds which was a lovely touch. The cottage is beautiful, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The hot tub is amazing, ready to use on arrival and the sauna is fab! The cottage is fully equipped and there is nothing more you need. The area is so lovely and quiet, yet close enough to access shops etc. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and a better way to relax after the wedding. Thank you so much, highly recommend and we can’t wait to return!

Romantic, peaceful and lovely place
The instructions given by the owner were spot on. Sauna and jacuzzi were lovely and well used over the weekend. The downstairs rooms are beautifully spacious and the rooms, exceptionally comfortable. The cottage has all the charm you would expect and the garden is lovely, secluded and comfortable. Everything works as it should and everything you need is supplied. I loved this place. It was very romantic and I would happily go back again and again.

Wonderful Cosy Cottage with everything you need for a relaxing get away
John couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. The check in and check out process was very easy, all information was provided. The cottage was clean and cosy, had everything we hoped for, beams, fireplaces, private outdoor jacuzzi + sauna + pizza oven, eat in kitchen and large living space for the 4 of us and old dog to enjoy. A bottle of Prosecco and milk was thoughtfully placed in the fridge for us to enjoy on arrival also. Great experience all round, highly recommend.

Perfect, secluded hideaway. Loved it!
The property is very tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and equipped. It was lovely and warm, clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the brand new sauna. We have already recommended the place to several of our friends and I can't wait for an excuse to go back. Hosts were very prompt with all of my questions before and after our visit, the welcoming bootle of prosecco in the fridge (alongside the complimentary bottle of milk) went down very well.
