About this apartment rental
This privately owned modern apartment is 1 of 15 in a very Spanish style building. Access is by 1 flight of stairs direct from private car park at rear of building. The property is situated about 200 meters from the beach and has a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea from its front balcony. HIGH SEASON PRICES REDUCED BY 20% IN 2018! Its back balcony overlooks the rear garden and private car park. The apartment contains all mod cons you would expect in a luxury self-catering apartment: fully fitted Pine Kitchen, Solid Pine dining table with six Pine chairs, comfortable lounge area fully stocked with reading material for all interests, FREE WI-FI (Fiber-optic), SAT DISH. SMART TV , DVD Player, Hi-Fi System with selection of CD’s, One Master Bedroom containing double bed and single bed, complete with built in wardrobes. Second Bedroom with Pine Bunk Beds, (beds are adult size) plus pull out roller bed for an extra sleeper. Bathroom has a full-size bath and shower unit. Hot water is by electric immersion heater. Hair dryer, Iron and Ironing Board. During the winter months, Electricity is charged extra according to the current cost and usage.

During the summer months, there are various local 'fiestas' where the visiting tourist is invited to join in with the fun! No bull fights, but plenty of bull running!
TARRAGONA: Wonderfully Spanish! Not yet affected by mass tourism, except, perhaps for Port Aventura and Salou. Then again, the kids will want to visit Universal Studios Spanish answer to Disney World! Some may even fancy a trip to Barcelona FC at Camp Nau. Beautiful scenery along the River Ebro Basin with plenty of little villages along the way just waiting to be explored. The Catalans are very welcoming and proud of their own traditions - just watch them working with pottery! The Ebro Delta is famous for its rice growing and protected natural wild life centre. The apartment had everything we needed for a week's stay, and as there were only two of us we found it very spacious. The balcony with a view towards the sea was an excellent place to enjoy breakfast and dinner. Private parking behind the property was a bonus, although there was plenty of additional parking available in the street.

Des vacances réussies
L'appartement se situe dans un quartier résidentiel très agréable et calme, à quelques minutes à pied de la plage. Il est très bien amenage et equipe et spacieux pour nous qui étions six L'ampolla est une très jolie petite ville avec un centre ville chaleureux avec toutes les commodités.
Le contact avec Paul, le propriétaire a été parfait, une très belle personne et de bon conseil sur les endroits à visiter.
Nous y retournerons très certainement!

Lovely December Stay
We had a great 10 days at Paul's apartment - weather was sunny, sometimes windy, but each day we were able to go for walks along the coast - very lovely and quiet at this time of year. The flat was perfect, clean, with everything we needed and easy to make warm and cosy on cold nights. Would definitely stay again.

Das Apartment liegt sehr schön und bietet von der Terrasse einen Blick auf das Meer. Die Wohnung hat eine gute Aufteilung und bietet alles, was man braucht. very calm and peaceful holiday
The Beach is beautiful, the water very clean. The Restaurant hasn't disturbt us a bit, they are quiet. The Wlan is quicker then mine at home. Paul is very nice and helpful. We have enjoyed our stay. But you need a car for the shopping.

Nous venons de descendre à l'appartement excellent de Paul dans Cap Roig, L'Ampolla. Nous sommes restés là depuis cinq ans et chaque année est le même avec un accueil excellent de Paul. L'appartement est très propre et a tous les appareils modernes que vous voulez avoir sur votre vacances. Les lits sont toujours préparés, le drap très propre et l'appartement est si confortable avec toute la peinture et les photographies. À nous, il a l'impression d'être à la maison! Maurice et Chantal.

It was great!
Very nice owner, near to the sandy and protected beach with a beautiful blue sea, the appartement was tidy and all important furnitures were avaiable. Though there was no air conditioner, the room was not stifling. One negative point for people who need silence is that the restaurant in the ground floor is opened till 2 a.m which is a disturbing factor.

Definitely intend to return! Our first holiday in Paul's apartment was certainly home from home. Very spacious with everything there you could wish for and Paul's hospitality was second to none. Excellent beach within walking distance. Really peaceful location. Car would be recommended as no supermarkets within walking distance although you can walk around the headland to L'Ampolla which took us approx 40mins. Totally agree with all the previous reviews. Peniscola is a lovely place to visit - approx 45 mins away. Good pizzeria on the corner. We had a very relaxing holiday and look forward to a return visit!

Value for the money
Totally agree with with the reviews posted earlier. A really peaceful location. There's hardly any traffic on the streets of Cap Roig so you can keep the bedroom window open in the night if it gets too hot. This resort is ideal for beach holiday as the nearest beach is just a few minutes walk away but there's plenty to see within 45 minutes driving distance as well: the delta of river Ebro, Salou, two waterparks near Salou, nearby towns etc. The owner Paul is a true gentleman with at your service -attitude. He speaks the local language fluently and that is a considerable advantage in case you end up in a situation where your own English or Catalan doesn't cut the mustard! Car is a must because there are no supermarkets within walking distance. There's a cozy pizzeria at the other end of the building.

We have just returned from staying at this apartment. It was great. The view from the balcony is lovely and the location of the apartment was very quiet and tranquil. The beach is less that a 5 minute stroll and is set in a small bay. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you could want....even UK sky tv. Large apartment with big balcony. Definately recommned it. The owners were very nice too and extremely helpful. Will hopefully stay again.

On our 4th vacation it is and has always been a delight and pleasant experience, the accomadation is very spacious, clean, with all mod cons that expect from your own home, ie , widescreen tv, sky, dvd player, video player, cd player, iron, hairdryer, microwave, i would here all day if i listed everything , it's home from home. The location is very quiet and peaceful with the beach being in view from the balcony , the beach being very secluded with a beach restaurant and pedlos for hire. There is lots of info in the apartment on all the surrounding areas, history , attractions ect, the Peniscula is a must !!!, Salou is only approx 35/40km, my children age 10 and 11 always look forward and enjoy returning to L'ampolla.

LUXURY AND PEACEFUL
My wife and I stayed in Paul's apartment last Easter and we were impressed immediatly from the time he met us at the motorway exit, to his punctuality on the morning of our departure. The apartment itself is spacious and well fitted out with a wonderful peaceful sea view from the large balcony. Paul's attention to detail ensured that the apartment was spotless and clean. All beds were made in advance, just like staying in a luxury hotel! No local discos and revelers at night ensured that we always slept perfectly. The most relaxing holiday we have been on and certainly we will return again and again.
