A nice apartment in a brilliant location.

Location. Apartment is in 5th floor so v much appreciated the lift. Apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. Very good shower. Pretty good value for money.

Apartment was superficially clean but very much in need of a deep clean. Many things were very dusty. Sheets were marked (appeared to be from washing machine). Main light did not work. We never managed to get any reception on Tv. Toilet is tiny with no shelving or anywhere to put anything. The communal areas are quite grubby and no one seems responsible for cleaning any mess that is left there.

We would recommend age 70 or less

Location except for homeless fellow and his dog near entrance not Strada’s fault

The Host Jean-Philipe was very nice and helpful. The flat was as displayed. Very spacious and nicely decorated.

Perfect appartement in central location

-location is just perfect. Metro A line 20m from apartament. Within 5min walk plenty of good restaurants - apartament was equipped with everything you may need ( hairdryer, oven, washing machine etc) - old building but with elevator - apartment was quiet however in summer with windows open you can probably hear some noise from restaurants nearby (apartament is on 5th floor)

great place for college age couple who like bars & rock music.

Nice apartment with elevator most of te way up. we enjoyed the place in the mornings. it’s very convenient to bus & métro. owner was super helpful!

this is the street for teens & 20s to enjoy bars below so it was really loud till around 1:00 am. Saturday there was a really loud rock concert at the corner that started at 4:00 pm and lasted till midnight. Then the bars continued. then the bar staff (or some others) yelled for another half hour. there’s no AC so closed windows made the apartment stuffy. The noise was still offensive with the windows closed.

Fully equipped apartment in excellent location - for those that are heavy sleepers.

Location was very central and convenient. Apartment had all the facilities we needed and was nicely decorated.

The noise from the street which carried up the five floors to the apartment.

Loved the location, central to all shops, walking distance from Old Town and areas of interest, 65m from Underground. Good facilities in apartment, it was comfortable and well equipped

No air-conditioning so had to sleep with windows open and very noisy with all the bars surrounding flat

lovely apartment, great location

The apartment was in an excellent location and very close to amenities. Very good restaurants are only a short walk awayThe Metro is about a minutes walk. The apartment is on the 5th floor with a lift and in a very secure building. It is spacious, nice and light and had everything we needed. TV is a smart tv and so we were able to access our Netflix account. The hosts were were really quick to respond to any messages and they were very accommodating in allowing us to check in early and also when a certain airline cancelled our flight on the morning of departure!

I do feel the apartment could benefit from air conditioning as it was really warm at night and needed the windows open, but as others had mentioned it is very noisy from bars below.

We had a great stay at Strada and the bars are beyond the owners control!

The location was great, just around the corner from Rue de Republic the main thoroughfare on the peninsula. The apartment was spacious, sunny, very comfortable with a good bathroom, separate toilet and washing machine.

The apartment over looked a narrow street full of bars which were very convenient if you wanted a drink but very noisy if you wanted to sleep. The windows were double glazed so if you closed them it was fairly quiet-but then on a summers evening a bit hot and stuffy. The apartment is heated but not cooled, though there is a portable fan.

A pleasant stay in a central location

The appartement is well situated in a good location, easy transport links (bus stop right outside) and in walking distance of main parts of Lyon; opera, bellecour etc. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen facilities, utensils and cleaning supplies as well as appliances. The design of each room is very contemporary and attractive, the shower was a large walk-in which was great. Check-in and collecting the keys was very easy with a friendly and helpful host.

The flat is in a central location but it did become very noisy at night as it’s near pubs/bars below. Although we stay up late and the bars became much quieter after around midnight, neighbours were noisy playing music and singing in the early hours. This is no fault of the apartment, we expect some noise in a residential area but it was difficult to sleep on the last evening (a Thursday) because of locals having parties until around 4am. The hot water in the shower did not last very long. We ended up sharing the shower as the water ran cold after 10 minutes.

We loved Lyon ... a great discovery.

City centre location great ... very close to the Metro and buses. And close to restaurants and bars. Full of life, and so perhaps not for folks who want a quiet life.

It has a lift, but five floors up is tougher if the lift breaks down. It was fixed quickly, however.

Great location in the city centre next to the metro station. Walking distance to all the main attractions, bars and restaurants. Fully equipped, cozy and stylish. Designed with care and attention.

The place is located just above a beer pub. So it was noisy especially at night.
