Struttura molto carina e accogliente con tutto il necessario, pulitissima e FRANCK è stato gentilissimo ad accogliere e a dare i giusti consigli per dove andare a cenare.

L’unica pecca la stanza risultava un po’ freddina per il resto ottima struttura

Spacious room, well located and incredible host

Very spacious and charming room. Alessa the host was above and beyond. Incredibly kind and insightful with all the good local tips. She even give us a ride from the train station to help us combat the heat.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!

We had the most wonderful stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Ragusa. The owners were easily contactable and met us outside the apartment, and showed us where was good to park (there's plenty of parking around). It was the most welcoming and friendly check-in process we've ever experienced and made us feel right at home. The recommendations for Ragusa were excellent, including where to go, advice on transport, beaches, food and drink. The apartment was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable and the wifi was very reliable. The room showed great attention to detail and everything worked perfectly in the kitchen. We really loved it here; it was our favourite accommodation in 6 weeks in Italy and we hope to go back soon.

absolutely enjoyable

Alessia and Frank were very involved. The location is close to attractions, the facility is comfortable and clean. We were going to the beach and they helped us with umbrellas.

Great location, lovely apartment, very poorly equipped

We did not have breakfast in the apartment

The apartment is tastefully decorated, well located and comfortable. Alissa provided very comprehensive information about Ragusa, included a video of a walking tour of the most important sites. We were, however, disappointed by the discrepancies between the amenities listed and those provided: there was no washing machine, no ironing facilities, a very limited selection of cooking utensils (only three glasses when the apartment can sleep four people), and neither oven or microwave. We could only make one cup of coffee at a time in a small traditional coffee maker (all our other rentals have provided a decent coffee maker). All right for a one night stopover, not suitable for a longer stay.

The appartement was refurnished recently. Is not very large, but has all amnesties to spend the night there. It has a kitchenette, where can be prepared some thing to eat. The host also prepared some snacks, and offered all needed information how to reach the old city, where to eat, where to park.

The only one source of heating was the air-conditioning, which is not the ideal solution to heat the room. Another room was cold. From this point of view it was not really comfortable. The floor is covered with marble, so if you go during winter time take with you some socks.

There is sign with the name of the apartment thus you will find entrance without any issue. The apartment itself is perfectly clean, comfortable with loads of useful equipment. The owner (Alessia) is helpful and nice person who will bring interesting hints about going around Ragusa.

Our hostess contacted us in advance and gave us directions to the flat that Google Maps would have given incorrectly. She met us at the door with extra information, including a video that she made showing some neighborhood highlights and how to find them. She took the extra time to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the accommodations.

Lovely flat. Great communication with the host and a seamless check in and check out. Property really clean and well maintained with a lot of attention given to even the smallest of details. Although no breakfast was included there was still some food left in the room which was very courteous. I was given detailed instructions on how to find the property and then on how to get around to enjoy the city and its main attractions. The heating via the air-conditioner in the room worked a treat and it was a very comfortable night. Quiet street without any noise or too much traffic even if it is only 5 min walk from the train station.

I couldn't find any fault at all.

Had a great stay there, I was travelling for work and this was the perfec location and space to get some work done, get some rest and connect to he rest of the city.

Pur Vida Barroca was comfortable, convenient, with numerous thoughtful touches.

Alessia and Frank provide a wonderful space with a kitchenette in Ragusa. It was well organized with many thoughtful touches. They were very communicative, eager to ensure that all our needs were met.

Relaxing stay, with super hosts.

Spacious, clean and comfortable with amazing hosts! Easy access to both old and new Ragusa. Easy walk to the station. A great trattoria around the corner.

The room needed a sofa and/or a dining table. There is a table, but it’s used in the kitchen. The lighting was very harsh, warmer light bulbs or some uplighters would help.

Alessia is a wonderful host, she was extremely helpful and nice providing personalised tips how to reach the destination and what to do while in Ragusa. The place is wonderful and has all the necessary basic amenities and it is very close to the centre. Highly recomended!

Lovely place to visit, full of history, very good local food and wine

Breakfast was coffee and pastry in a nice local cafe- a very short walk from the accommodation. Local restaurants were very good for evening meals. Ragusa very clean, beautiful city , easy to walk around for sightseeing. It is full of hills - but there is a local bus service should you require it.

Wonderful apartment in Ragusa

Everything was perfect, it’s the best apartment I have stayed in, very well-thought and beautifully done, it has everything one needs. Alessi was very responsive and when we had a small issue with water, she and her husband fixed it in 15 minutes in the middle of the night. I’m very impressed and very happy with stay, if I’m ever in Ragusa, definitely going to stay here again.

Alessia was the perfect host. We were able to arrive early and she was really helpful with details of how to get to Ragusa and Ibla (both walkable). We stayed in the room "Manhattan" on the top floor which has a really nice terrace with a mix of sun and shade. Great facilities: large fridge and even a full cooker. Stove-top Espresso machine supplied including the coffee. Lots of snacks too. The room was very quiet at night, spacious and comfortable. We were able to park in the street outside for free.

Good location, a short walk from the station Nice to be able to sit out on the roof terrace and well worth the climb. Lots of facilities including a washing machine. Host very helpful with recommendations for the local area. A quiet area so I slept well.

Fantastic!

Super nice rooms with everything what you need for the stay. Very confortable beds. Everything is completly new. Very close yo the city centre. Alessia and her husband are very nice and they explain everything what you need about the city, they are super friendly. We like a lot the place and we will come back!
