About this farm stay rental
The Quinta do Regato extends over 12000m2, between a small pine forest and the banks of the river Tâmega, and only 1km from the river Douro! The airport is 35km away and the center of Porto is 40km away.
With a privileged location, green landscapes and a microclimate, the environment invites to diverse activities of adventure, sport and leisure. The monuments that are part of the Route of the Romanesque, the Alto Douro vineyard or the gastronomy are reasons to spare for a little escape! If you prefer water sports, the Bitetos river beach is scarce 4km away.
If you prefer to stay on the farm, you will find a relaxed and family atmosphere, stumbling in various leisure spaces, from hammocks, a large swimming pool, a porch with a superb view of the river, stone tables to taste a good wine and a rest area right next to the bank.
The farm offers a free room with billiards, table football and other traditional games. If you want a bit more excitement, you can play a game of football, volleyball or, then, play in the net!

What an amazing place! Pedro and his wife have put so much love into their farm. It was a perfect accommodation for 4 couples and a quiet respite from the big city. Great walking path, very clean, private rooms and multiple places to just hang out and enjoy the peaceful view of the river. Pedro was very responsive with any questions we had and the bonus was the baker that came to us!

We had a great time at Pedro's house - would recommend and stay again. The pool is a good size and very nice for cooling off on warm days. The whole outside space was perfect, particularly liked the fruit trees and great views. Pedro was a superb host, very responsive and accomodating.
The only thing I would note is that the bedrooms are in a separate block to the living room and kitchen - wedidnt realise but it worked out well. They are lovely rooms, spacious with big windows looking out over the river and air conditioning.
We really liked the location, its quiet but with a few good restaurants and nice towns within short driving distance.

Our group especially enjoyed the ability to simply relax at the property. The views are beautiful and the grounds are full of interesting plants, many of them fruiting at the time of our visit; there is a seemingly unlimited number of areas to sit and enjoy those views. The swimming pool is magnificent. The dining room area is excellent. Pedro, the host, was unfailingly and impressively responsive both before we arrived and during our stay. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay - we were a group of extended family travelling from around the world and the property worked so well. We had enough space for everyone, the kids loved the pool and Pedro arranged a small paddling pool for our youngest guest (8mths). Pedro looked after us and was so helpful throughout our stay.
The property has fabulous fruit and views across the river. We rented paddle boards and canoes as an additional extra which were great to use on the river. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing week for a large groupe of friends.
We had a blast in Pedro’s Quinta. The house is just perfect, the room are clean, moderne and confortable.
And chilling by the pool after a good game of beach volley, admiring the view on the Rio Tamenga is just something you can’t get bored of.

A Quinta do Regato é exactamente aquilo que se vê nas fotos: um local calmo e paradisíaco e com tudo o que é necessário para uns dias em família ou com amigos. Fomos super bem recebidos pelo Pedro e todas as questões que tivemos foram respondidas atempadamente.
Toda a propriedade tem zonas tranquilas, bem equipadas e com soluções para todos os gostos. Totalmente recomendado!

A Quinta do Regalo é um espaço fantástico, aliando a beleza da natureza ao conforto e o bom gosto das instalações.
Somos um grupo de 12 adultos, apanhamos Sol, passeamos à beira rio, mergulhamos na piscina, descansamos nos solarengos pontos de interesse da quinta, jogamos à bola, bilhar e matrecos, enfim, divertimo-nos imenso.
O anfitrião é muito simpático e preocupado com o bem estar dos seus hóspedes.
