Quiet, cozy home stay

Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. The home was very cozy and the neighborhood quiet.

The internet connection was not very strong or reliable throughout the property

Peaceful stay with a lovely host

Just stayed here for a quiet night nearish the airport for our final night in Bishkek, and it was very suitable for that purpose. Room was comfortable and we slept well (the host also provided a powerful fan which helped a lot). Host is a very friendly and interesting man (fascinating field of work!) who organised an airport taxi for the early morning and made sure all our needs were accommodated.

It was the last day of an amazing journey. We lived in an family athmosphere with a view of the Tien Shan.

Superb

I stayed just one night as my luggage didn't arrive with me at Bishkek airport. When I booked this place from airport owner was quick to message me and advise on proper taxi cost, so I didn't get ripped off. Very friendly owner who spoke good English and was helpful with giving me directions. He booked a taxi for my early morning departure and was up early to see me off.

The room was poor only a bed. No closet no air condition. Place ls weird and sad. Around only houses. So no good place to stay.

A Specific Booking

I opted for this establishment based on my late-flight arrival and its position slightly further away from the main hub of the city. The property has a nice exterior and seemed like a nice family home. It is, however, a fully-functioning family abode, so expect children and work/school routines to be present. The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. There wasn't a wardrobe, or anywhere to hang clothes though 🤔. In conclusion, I would say that this homestay is for very particular clientele - i.e. people who might think (as I did) that it would be beneficial to choose somewhere a little closer to the airport/bus station, when realistically, Bishkek is small enough for this not to be an issue. For the price paid and the minimal breakfast - there are a multitude of more advantageous accommodation options elsewhere - so I wouldn't recommend it unless you have specific location needs. The owner, though busy, was pleasant enough and spoke English well. 🙏👍

Perfect. I'll come again!

Kurak Homestay is a very special place. It offers you all the comfort, the rooms are large and made in a very elegant taste (also with some traditional flavour). The owners are extremely helpful, speak fluent English, and give the place a pleasant family touch. They take care of you and can assist you in many ways. One can even organize a private tour to visit historical locations and other places worth seeing close and far. I did a tour to Issyk-Kul and it was a highlight! If you feel like learning traditional cooking, you can do it here. And if you need some privacy, there is enough space for it. It definitely is a good starting point to explore Kirgisistan or take rest after a longer journey.

There was nothing like this. I loved the place and the family.

A taste of Kyrgistan.

Bakytbek and his family, Zarema, Janai, Perijan, Yasmin, Elmira, and Ayjan, were most welcoming. I felt at home. The house is spacious and very comfortable. Zarema prepared excellent food every day, and enjoyed every bite, every sip. I will go back to Kurak every time I visit Bishkek.

Very sweat and nice family and a beautful house. Tasty breakfast. And the host was very helpful about organizing taxis and yurtstays.

Good to stay for short period.

Hospitality of staff and food like home and bed comfortable to sleep. Comfortable toilet with hot water all the time.

Far away from city centre, no lock on the room door from outside and no key for the house as when you come from outside you need to wait till they answer and come to open the door.
