Excellent location with an up-market feel, comfortable beds, ample parking. A stress-free stay!
The hotel is a small “boutique” style hotel - a one-off property. The hotel itself is located in a converted house on a main road on the outskirts of Haarlem, but still within the town area. The conversion has been professionally done to a high standard. There is one room in the roof space and another 3 or 4 (?) downstairs. Everything is digital, there is no reception. Check in and check out were seamless and very easy. There is ample parking right in front of the hotel. Our room was spotless and well appointed. The bed had a quality topper that was very comfortable and we slept well. Our room, in the roof space, had an open plan bathroom with the glass shower cubicle and the bath in the actual room. I am not a big fan of this concept but in this instance it worked well and did not seem strange. The rainwater shower was excellent. There was a small kitchenette, an iron and board as well as some comfortable chairs.
Overall our stay was faultless. If pushed to find fault I would judge that the attic room was a bit on the dark side despite one full length window overlooking the garden and lake. This really wasn’t an issue but nowhere is perfect, right?

Lovely room, shame about the morning commuter traffic.
Large room, comfortable bed, keyless entry, the walk through to town.
Early morning commuter traffic noise is quite apparent. Opinions are divided on the clear glass shower enclosure in the bedroom, no facility apart from a single hook for hanging damp towels.

The accomodation was absolutely wonderful and a bliss to stay. Bas has made our stay even better. He was so incredibly helpful and kind. Really went the extra mile on making sure we had everything we needed. The way he communicated was amazing and we will for sure recommend it to everyone and will come back!
Nothing.

Don't go!!
The room
It is not a hotel, it is a house, it is not run by professionals, no one assisted me at any time physically, everything by phone, the room was 13 degrees, the cushions dirty with dust, the furniture idem, when I made the reservation I explained in my observations , quiet room and the house is close to the road! Please, the booking team first check what you publish!!

The facilities were good and we enjoyed the walk into town.
The breakfast was good - was left on a tray outside and was quite comprehensive. Room had everything we needed
The breakfast arrived an hour earlier than expected - arrived at 8am. There were hot hard boiled eggs so we had to get up to eat early. I hadn't realised that it was a place with no reception or dining room, so everything is done on codes and whatsap messages. It's not really a negative, just something I wasn't expecting. I suppose it felt more like a soulless motel and it reminded my husband of a hideous quarantine experience he had in Adelaide. I would probably stay here again though because its hard to find somewhere with easy parking in Haarlem and I think the garden would be great in better weather
