About this cabin rental

This place is a gem. It's a d-log structure that was both a bookstore and coffee shop in it's past life. We have remodeled it back into a two bedroom home with a loft, sleeping a total of six. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a futon in the loft area with a full sized 10" foam mattress that very comfortably sleeps two more. Upstairs you will also find an office nook with a desk. WI-FI is on site.

The kitchen features a gas range, dishwasher and all of the dishes and cookware you will need to feed your crew. We keep basic oils and spices on hand so that you don't have to buy a cart full of staples in order to cook delicious meals. There is also a gas grill available for you to use.

The living room is cozy and very relaxing with a leather sectional, the most comfortable rocking chair that you will ever sit in and a roku tv. The bathroom features a shower stall and a barn wood vanity with a vessel sink.

Stayed for 4 days. Rustic yes,. But very comfortable and clean. Super well equipped kitchen. Wonderful location. Would stay again. Only note is that there is no air conditioning. Not a problem for us because of cool nights and pleasant days.

Had a great week here in Pagosa! The cabin itself is very cute and eclectic, some really interesting finishing touches like the light switches - you'll have to visit to see! The pups loved the way the sun came in through the front door in the morning. Location is amazing as we could walk or bike into town effortlessly and was a perfect base camp for my moto adventures and my wife's hot spring relaxing. Highly recommend.

We had a great time staying in the cabin in Pagosa Springs. It was easy to walk to the Hot Springs and the music festival. Everything we needed for our state was available. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay in this cozy cabin in downtown Pagosa. The kitchen was well supplied; the only thing we bought for our stay was food. We were able to check in a little early; the host was friendly and welcoming. Three bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and airy. While it was not a problem for us, a consideration for some might be that the bathroom is downstairs.

This is a cozy property as advertised. It was fine for a close family as the bedrooms are in a loft. We loved the front porch and the close proximity to town and the hot springs. My husband loved the ability to take long runs with a mountain view. I would caution anyone with mobility issues that the stairs are tough. The bathroom is downstairs, so nighttime descents on the stairs are a bit of a challenge if you aren't paying attention- leave a light on. Otherwise, it was cute and cozy and we had a great time there.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was super cozy. The fact we were so close to town was a perk because we were able to walk to many of the locations. We were so thankful for the boot warmers/dryers! That came in super clutch after a day of skiing. Communication with the property manager was fantastic. Thank you again!!

Really enjoyed the stay. A couple of things. If I wanted hot water for the shower, it didn't take long at all for it to heat up. The cabin also warmed up pretty quickly once thermostat was set where I wanted. Access to the main road going up to Wolf Creek was one block from where we stayed, so I had minimal worries about snow obstructing my drive or getting stuck. Access to a 24 hour gym was a half mile away and super convenient. Also, I had to speak to the VRBO rep one time and she was easy to contact and very familiar with the property. She also had detail answers to any questions I had. In summary, the property and location was everything I expected and will certainly stay there again.

My husband and I loved the cabin and would definitely stay here again. A few tips to keep in mind is that there is only one bathroom downstairs, so there would be a line if more than one family stayed in the cabin and if you are elderly and have difficulty going up and down stairs, keep in mind that all of the beds are upstairs. Definitely not a problem for our stay since it was just me and my husband. Perfect location and dog friendly, can't wait to come back.

We had a great time in Pagosa. This house is easy walking distance to everything in town and a short drive to hiking trails. The house is clean and comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews there are some steep stairs to the bedroom and the bathroom is downstairs which might not work for everyone. Very happy with our experience and would recommend.

The cabin is handy to the shops and restaurants and to the main roads that lead to hiking areas. Everything was very clean and convenient, and I enjoyed my stay, I don't care for hot tubs, but the materials should probably be changed to note that there isn't one. And as someone else said before me, those who need a bathroom at night should pay special attention to the fact that the beds are in a loft and the bathroom on the lower level.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ohea's cabin! It was close to town and even closer to Wolf Creek for skiing than most we have stayed at in years past. Our only frustration, was the hot tub was not working properly. Ohea was very quick to try to fix it and told us tricks to try to get it to heat, however after the first day we were never able to get it to reheat again. Since that was out main reason for choosing this location for our ski trip, we were super bummed. Otherwise, we loved the cabin and would rent again!

Cabin was clean, however we could not get the hot tub to work. This was a major issue during my stay as I extremely looked forward to relaxing in the tub after a long day of skiing. The broken hot tub truly hampered my stay here considering the private hot tub was the reason I chose this property.

Great experience renting here. It was clean, comfortable, and had all we needed for a family of five. Ohea was very responsive with her communication. I read other reviews mentioning how sound is in the cabin and they weren't kidding. I had a conversation in the bedroom upstairs with my daughter and my SO heard me downstairs in the bathroom. Just a heads up if you are seeking some.. privacy. We did bring a small sound machine with us however and it did help. The location was prime to everywhere we wanted to go, either for groceries, gear, or activities. The cabin is a straight shot to the main road getting to Wolf Creek Ski Area. Would definitely stay here again.
