About this house rental

Completely updated home only a 5 minute walk from Lake Superior. Enjoy the beaches, bike path, as well as all downtown Marquette has to offer (Washington and Third Street), all within a 10-15 minute walk. This east side home has 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, living room with full pull out couch, dining room, and kitchen with updated appliances. Window AC units are installed in both bedrooms and the living room during the summer months. On-demand hot water system ensures all guests have a hot shower -no waiting for warm-up with multiple guests! Home also features Keurig coffee maker with coffee, 42 inch smart TV, cable, DVR, and wifi. Guests can also enjoy a relaxing sauna during the winter or on cooler summer days.

Hang out and grill on the back deck and fenced in yard with a 6-ft privacy fence. Back deck includes a grill and patio furniture, and back yard games available for use! Pets are welcome for an extra fee.

Basement has an open room with plenty of space for out-of-weather storage for bikes, skis, fishing gear, etc. and contains a washer and dryer that can be used by guests. Storage/ game room also features a Foosball table. Basement also has a finished "cantina style" second living room which contains a smart large screen TV (55 inch), couch, and bar area with DVD player, stereo, and cable. Guests can use both TVs (upstairs and downstairs) to log into Netflix, Pandora, Hulu, etc. for those rainy vacation days.

Drive way can accommodate two cars (street parking available May-October) and there is space within backyard fenced area for a small trailer (~14 feet; special arrangements will need to made in winter if trailer parking area needs to be plowed and accessible).

We had a weekend of softball at the dome. It was a perfect location for it. Could let the dogs out and come back to the game. The house was clean and had everything you would need. The hosts were amazing. I can’t say enough good things about our weekend. Thank you again

Originally booked for my wife, my dog and me. Unfortunately my wife came down with an illness and coudn't travel so she stayed home with the dog and I traveled alone for some family time over the holiday. The house is in a very quiet residential neighborhood, but just a couple of blocks from businesses and restaurants on 3rd St. Lots of room including a basement rec room, which is different from a lot of VRBOs. The home was clean and well furnished. I was able to walk to 3rd street to take advantage of the restaurants. The Casa Calabria has outstanding Italian food and just a quick walk to 3rd st. Vango's is also good and again a short walk. Definitely recommend and I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Park Street house. We were in town visiting my mom, and celebrating our anniversary. It is a great house, and we felt very much at home there. You’ve thought of everything. We were able to relax and watch tv or play games in the evenings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on E Park St! Amazing home in a quiet neighborhood. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog and we loved being able to use the grill! We will be back!

House is clean, comfortable, and has nice decorating touches. Sauna is a nice thing to have available. House is just a couple of blocks away from enjoying the wonderful beach on the lake shore. House is also close to downtown restaurants. Many of which are in walking or biking distance. Would definitely book again.

This was base camp for us and our dog while we explored the U.P. House was clean, check in/out was a breeze! The only qualm we had was that the beaches within walking distance are NOT dog friendly. However Kyla quickly provided links with dog-friendly suggestions and we drove a few miles to south beach and had a great time. Highly recommend Kyla, Brad and this property!

We booked a year ahead for NMU graduation. Great communication with the host with questions even a year in advance. The place was perfect for its proximity to graduation, the neighborhood was cute and quiet and the house had everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen. Fun game and movie room in the lower level although we didn’t have time to use it this time.

Wonderful location and super cute house. The location is great, easy walking to everything in Marquette and drive to adventures further afield. The backyard is perfect for dogs. Kitchen is well equipped and clean. Sauna is a nice added bonus. East walk down to the lakeshore walk and beach. Great spot!

Kyla’s house is absolutely amazing! Kyla let us know about check in and we arrived to a warm house with wonderful holiday decorations. The house is spotless and so warm and welcoming! There is everything you could possibly need for a stay. It was December in Marquette so we weren’t able to enjoy the back patio and yard but I bet in the summer it would be a great place to grill and enjoy an evening. Beds were great, plenty of amenities for cooking and anything else you can think of. The location was great and Kyla is available for any questions This house is one of the best we have stayed at. Thank you Kyla for an amazing vacation!!

We loved the location of the Park Street House. It’s a cozy retreat within walking distance to the lake, downtown, and the NMU campus. The fenced-in yard is perfect for pets. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The house could have been cleaner,there were dishes in the dishwasher. Since fans were in the windows, cold air came in. The house next door had young guys that were noisy quite late.. Just wasn’t the experience we expected.

Myself, my husband, and our two toddlers stayed here for a week. The house is in a great location, with a short walk to the beach and a short drive to downtown Marquette. The house was clean and included just about everything we needed, with more than enough room for us to spread out. Would definitely stay here again!

This was just such an amazing property. It felt so much like home and my dog seriously loved this place. There was so much attention to dog owners- baby gates, a finished basement (great for kennels or crates)- even a cubby near the back door with towels to wipe their paws. We have gotten so used to bringing our own stuff- even our own pooper scooper- but they provided that as well! The neighbors are quiet, the road isn’t at all noticeable, and the distance from downtown is perfect. Will definitely be renting this again! Thank you for such a great stay.
