If the WHITE HOUSE is booked out on the preferred dates, please have a look at our other property (also with Stayz) THE ESTATE TRENTHAM it is only 15 mins drive from Daylesford and a little closer to Melbourne.

PLEASE NOTE weekends are a two night minimum stay!

the White House, features collections and vintage furniture sourced all around country the surroundings and make yourself very very comfortable.

the house is an 1850s miners cottage that has been restored to feature as much of the past as possible.

Library - we have loved collecting all the books for the library, so now we want you to relax, curl up, get cosy with your favorite book!

3 Bedrooms - all feature hand-made linen tailored for each room. wallpapers by deborah bowness UK

Bathrooms - soaps have been hand-made and wrapped individually using vintage papers, maps and books.
enjoy the claw foot baths, indulge and luxuriate for hours.
lie underneath a rare antique chandelier from France.

Kitchen - features a commercial stainless steel oven, microwave and all the essentials you will need during your stay
huge ex-factory work bench to prepare your breakfast.

breakfast provisions sour dough loaf of bread, free-range eggs, tea, coffee, milk and fresh oranges to juice.
enjoy your breakfast overlooking the peaceful garden on the huge dining table surrounded by ex-boardroom chairs.

Lounge-room - lots of comfortable club chairs and lounge suites to curl up in. one-off hand made cushions featuring union jacks/old flags, flour lighting, vintage artworks, ex-industrial factory furniture pieces.

Garden - lie on the grass or on one of the day beds under a tree!

We even have a picnic basket if you would like to prepare your own lunch/dinner and head down to the lake or to the botanic gardens.

Fantastic property with a fabulous host. Everything you could want for a Daylesford getaway. Really well equipped kitchen, local produce for breakfast to greet you. A cozy, wam house full of comfortable spaces with views of a beautiful garden through every window. Close to town and the lake for a walk. Thoroughly recommend.

Such a lovely home, lovely touches through out. A coffee machine would’ve been nice. Bath was a little difficult with the hand held shower.. but otherwise location and house was perfect.

This cottage was everything and more than we expected! The attention to detail, the coziness and period charm won us over as soon as we arrived. We would definitely stay again! Beautiful stay, gorgeous feeling of the White House. We loved our Daylesford getaway. Pancho cafe, seafood spaghetti and churros at Frangos and frangos. Shopping and exploring the wombat gardens. Ahh a wonderful stay. Thank you Lynda.

Lovely stay in the most beautiful house in my favourite part of Victoria... Daylesford... ...walking distance to the lakw & main strip of shops added to the houses attraction. Lynda proved to be very easy to communicate with & ensured we had everything we required. At late notice..... a great way to ring in the new year ! Thank you Lynda

Wow! What an amazing experience. This property was absolutely amazing. From the minute we opened the front gate we fell in love. Every fine touch in the property makes it feel like home! I could not thank Lynda enough for her kind hospitality. We will definitely be visiting again!!

Lynda has amazing style in the way she puts everything together. The home is eclectic and a great place to just stop and stay. Open fire, wine and cheese made for a great girls weekend. Needs a good dusting but I guess that’s all part of the vibe. Breakfast and goodies were a treat. A place with a difference.....in a good way. Loooking forward to staying at the trentham property next year. Thanks for having us Lynda.
