Lovely property, very comfortable would recommend

Very comfortable, warm, everything we needed and good communication . 3 good size double beds, well equipped kitchen and dedicated private parking. Easy scenic walk along canal into town.

Shower cubicle a little small but great to have a separate standalone shower - hot with good water pressure

Angel cottage nice place access not good but it was very clean which was the saving grace

The property was very clean .had everything that we needed

The beds were very clean but all the pillows need replaced they were very flat as were the cushions on the furniture and the sofa,s were very worn .

Very enjoyable

Good location. Delightful house. Useful to have sofa in the dining room as well as the lounge. We would recommend Skipton as a great base to visit the local area including the Dales.

Angel Cottage was so well stocked, anything you could think of they provided, even a bottle of wine!

Location was perfect. Railway station 2 minutes walk. Supermarket 4 minutes walk & Skipton town only about a 8-10 minute walk either alongside the road or beside the canal.

The front bedroom was a little noisy from road noise & lights from the railway at night, but we slept in the back bedroom (choice of 2) & you couldn’t hear a sound out there.

Superb

This cottage was fantastic and cosy for a long weekend away. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have both a lounge and separate dining room as social spaces. The location was perfect, right next to the station and close to town while also having easy parking right outside.

The only thing to consider is if you're sensitive to noise this cottage is located on a main road which you can hear from inside the property. It wasn't a problem for us, but worth considering.

Exceptional

Central position, very clean & well equipped for a lovely break. Lots of well cared for plants .

All quiet until Friday night , next door neighbours were very loud & arguing. We couldn't adjust the log burner, it seemed to be on full air intake all the time so logs didn't last long.

An hot tub would be an added nicety but this is not important we felt it was the only thing that was missing from this wonderful home for guests . We love your cottage and felt completely at home thank you

Cosy cottage with very good facilities.

Water pressure very poor.Traffic noise from busy main road.noise from shunting yard opposite. Front bedroom could not get dark because of spotlight for the trains.

Lovely, comfortable and spacious property, well equipped and nice finishing touches. A lot of effort has been put into the decor and furniture. Host left a complementary bottle of wine which guests appreciated. The sofas and beds were really comfy. There wasn't much to dislike! Had a lovely couple of days in Skipton.

Shower room was really small making it dufficult to move around in the tiny space. There was a lovely free standing bath though but for those unable to get in and out of it, the shower alternative was disappointing.

Perfect place to stay in lovely little town 🙂

Cottage was very clean & well equipped, no problem with parking in designated spot directly behind cottage. Lovely little courtyard garden. It is by a fairly busy Rd but not very noisy. Skipton was lovely with plenty to do around Skipton and locally. 10 mins either down the pretty canal path or follow the road in to town. Super market 5mins walk. Lots of sit outside cafes and bars. Market is on most days.

Generally a good experience.

good location, well equipped, nicely decorated.

in the two double bedded bedrooms there was night time and early morning noise from the house next door which disturbed our sleep. It was mostly non stop loud talking, particularly bad on the Friday night, less so on the Saturday and Sunday nights. perhaps some additional wall insulation would help.

Absolutely perfect location and cosy, comfortable house.

3 mins walk from station. Large rooms, well equipped kitchen, 2 toilets.

Parking space at rear was in a very crowded yard shared with neighbours - ended up parking in the road to avoid awkward manoeuvring.

Weekend away with friends

The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay , the only criticism we had was the water pressure for the shower which was very low and also for the bath , not sure if this an issue with the pressure on the street. We would return though as had a wonderful time and loved the location and the house.

Great location short walk to town center. Lovely homely touches, comfy beds and little extras which help to enjoy my stay more relaxing. Very clean and lovely log burner.
