For my overnight stay coming in late at night, and leaving in the morning, this was suitable lodging

We enjoyed this modest and comfortable stay and would stay there again.

The room we were given was large, beds were comfortable which was important after a super busy event day. Glad for a fridge and microwave. Renovations had been done to update it a bit. We really enjoyed having our own carport. The manager was kind enough to offer us this bigger room when we checked in.

I know that uncarpeted rooms are the trend now but a few throw rugs or runners near the beds would be helpful.

Great place, and wonderful owners

Not going to lie, I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews on here. I'm so happy I went with my gut and booked anyway. We stayed in room 10. The room was updated, extremely clean and fresh. No lingering motel musty smell at all, if you're worrried about that! The owners live right on the property and were very attentive. I asked about a microwave a day or so before our stay. I was told they would put one in the room when we arrived and they had it in the room before we even got there. The carports were an absolute bonus, especially when leaving a softball game we got rained out of. The ability to unload the truck out of the rain, YES. Plus they have a little table and chairs under each so you can enjoy the fresh air even when the weather isn't the best. We needed extra towels and wash cloths, she ran to get them. A friend asked for an extra blanket for another room, it was right there. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and want to thank them for being so kind and inviting.

Location. That’s about it.

The toilet leaked water out of the base because it was wobbling around. There were slugs around the toilet when we came back at night. The walls are so thin you could hear everything that happened next door. The AC was so freaking loud, couldn’t sleep half of the night. I’m very disappointed and won’t be returning especially for the cost. But that’s Skaneateles.

We were very pleased with everything!

The room was exceptionally clean and cozy. The hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. All amenities were as advertised.

The only flaw was the drain in the shower. The water went down very slowly and forced me to rush to get out before the water overflowed onto the bathroom floor.

There were bugs all over the room. Ants crawling in the room and the bathroom. It was outdated. There was no breakfast. The floors were dirty. They had a refrigerator in the room but you had to buy the drinks they had put in there. No room to put our things. No ice! No back yard to look at like specified. A dump for that ridiculous price.

HORRIBLE!

Location

Room smelled like pot. Spiders and flying bug all over.bathroom covered in cobwebs. With door closed I could clearly see outside. The heat did not work. This was a horrid experience. Will never return!

The breakfast was continental. There was a basket in the room with breakfast bars, tea bags, coffee, it also included cheezits and peanuts.

The place is old, it could use some updates.

Pleasant

Location was fantastic - just minutes from downtown skaneateles and an easy 30 minutes into Syracuse by car. Rooms were definitely dated but very clean, and the big lawn out back was really nice to relax in in the morning.

The 'continental breakfast' was a bit lacking - just a few pieces of fruit and packaged snacks in our room. Also the check-in process could be better by adding lockboxes or something of the like.

Good location.

The cost was on the expensive side compared to the accommodations. $140 for the night. Maybe the going rate for the area. Looked better online. Worth about $69 a night. Old bathroom. Very small.

Superb

Remote and very pretty. Clean and just so welcoming! If you’re looking for the holiday inn keep driving. This is mom and pop - modern and old school mix. Have recommended to everyone I talk to about our night away. 5 stars!!!

Short but sweet, rooms were rustic but comfortable . Location was close to the town -Skaneateles

It was rustic but cozy, enjoyed our stay

Pool was closed and no continental breakfast all of which were due to COVID precautions which is understandable
