Exceptional

Lots of extras provided. Everything thought of. Enjoyed the arcade games. Luxurious.

The internal bedroom got hot overnight. Fan provided was useful.

Excellent - Pete’s a lovely host!

Good value accommodation with a very pleasant host

Being able to park on the drive right outside the front door was nice. Being greeted on arrival, was a nice bonus. The property was in a nice quite location just off the main road. There was amble gratis goodies ready & waiting for us to utilise (breakfast, bottled water, toiletries, board games, DVD's etc). I nice small garden with fish pond. Everything was clean & comfortable.

The local area was a little less appealing than it was when I was last there several years ago, but that is obviously not the fault of this accommodation/host. The bathroom was quite small, but it wouldn't stop me from staying here again short term.

Some finishing touches and it would be great

Friendly welcome. Peter checked my arrival time and was there to meet me. I liked the layout of the kitchen (waist high island style gas hob) and there was lots of complimentary items that they didn't have to provide. The garden was a nice restful space on a lovely day. Really quiet and a good place to relax.

If you lean towards a minimalist look; this is not the place to go. The furniture in the main bedroom is not modern and I had trouble opening the wardrobe which needs updating. The bathroom is small with a louvre style door that doesn't favour tall or larger people and there are no shelves that the average height person can reach. The sink could be bigger. There was no where to put any toiletries. At least a 25 minute walk from the town centre.

A great little holiday space, and yes, we would all like to go there again.

The space contained everything we needed for our short seaside stay. Children were well catered for, the Xbox was a bonus. Having the teabags, milk and breakfast cereals there already was very welcoming. It was an easy walk to Walpole Bay and a leisurely stroll along the coastal path to the old town. Shops, cafes and buses were at the end of the road.

Long weekend in margate

Well situated near to the beach only a 15 min walk lots of food and supplies in the kitchen too so thank-you for that.

Nothing I didn't like It was a great place and met our needs perfectly including our dog. Thank-you for the supplies too in the kitchen xxx

Comfortable, very clean and well stocked

Every little detail was covered with all electrical appliances supplied. A large variety of breakfast foods were supplied. The shower was lovely powerful and good temperature. We look forward to coming back

Exceptional vacation

The host provided surplus food in the fridge, freezer and cupboard.. we didn't lack. It was more than we had expected. Everything was thought of to the last details. Very kind hosts! The boys enjoyed the fish pond and feeding fish.

Brilliant stay

One of the best places we have stayed as a family. Normally we have to check in then go do a run to the shops for the essentials but it was all there which was a lovely bonus. This place is really home from home the owners have thought of everything. We have stayed in many places around the world and this has been our best stay all the touches like board games colouring which I pack was all there for my little one. Shops and the bus stop and the end of the road and really everything you need is on the door step. This is now going to be the place we stay when we come visit family in boardstairs.

Everything was thought of and provided for, Peter and his partner are excellent hosts and the area was extremely quiet, which is great when you have a little one. We would definitely return.
