Siesta Key Vacation

I liked how close the property was to the beach and the village. You can walk everywhere.

I wished they had bathrooms by the pool, so you didn't have to go back to the room.

The resort serves its purpose of being close to everything for a short trip.

The location was directly across the street from the beach yet not on the main road so it wasn’t noisy.

The entire unit was very old and dirty. The furniture was very stained and uncomfortable. The shower wasn’t scrubbed down, the floors were tile throughout, but never cleaned so our feet and socks were black. The pull out couch never had the sheets cleaned so we had to strip it. Gross! We addressed it with the front office and they were very apologetic. They immediately had cleaning staff out, but it shouldn’t have to come to that.

The unit was great! Very clean! Excellent location. Access to the beach is good and about a 10-15 min walk to the "Village ", but there are plenty of free/tip-based shuttles options.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about the property.

Simple, solid option if all you need is beach access

If you are looking for a simple place with decent beach access this is a solid choice but don't expect modern amenities or furnishings. Gigi at the front desk was wonderful and friendly. We were glad it had a king bed. We enjoyed having chairs and umbrellas with a little cart to borrow since the walk is longer than we thought to the actual sand.

The pool was so tiny that if 2 kids were playing in it then that was really about the max. The "resort" is more of grouping of previous cottages or condos that have been grouped together. It's a basic place and in our hallway there was clutter from housekeeping, extra supplies, etc. It reminded me more of going to like a relative's old beach cottage than what we are used to at the beach. The A/C are the old school window units that blow all night. Unfortunately in our bedroom it was about 2 feet from the bed so we had to build a blockade to keep it from blowing directly on us all night. The kitchen was tiny and could have used a toaster.

Love this place

I look for location and convenience when staying on the beach this is literally almost right across from the beach close to the village has a swimming pool and plenty of places to ride a bike and explore

We stayed during July 4th holiday weekend and there was some late night pool excursions till about 1:00 in the morning but it was only for a couple days

The best beach vacation to date!

Bob and his entire team were amazing. Sweet and engaging. Such a lovely resort, we will absolutely be back!

There is really nothing I would change, except maybe more pillows in the bed. That’s not a negative, just a personal preference.

Great beach access, close to the village, great location!

Great place to stay on Siesta Key! Beach access just a short walk from the property with chairs/umbrellas and beach towels provided and available for use. The beach is less crowded at this access than it is further south where the hotels are, too! Free Siesta Key trolley access right next to the beach access point. Quiet neighborhood and walking distance (about 12-15 min) to the village where there are shops and restaurants. There are kitchenette accommodations but not an actual stove, so be aware if you were planning on making meals in. There is a hot plate, toaster oven, and microwave as well as a kettle and coffee maker. Close to the airport, it took about 30 minutes without traffic to get to/from SRQ airport.

The stairs to the second floor needed to be vacuumed, but it's understandable it's hard to keep up with the sand everyone tracks in. Not a negative, but be aware that the path to the beach is somewhat lengthy, so use the carts provided to haul the chairs/umbrellas, and just be prepared for the walk and pushing the cart in the sand. The beach itself is worth the walk!

The Sea Spray Resort has everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation. Every amenity in the room, especially the kitchen & beach items such as chairs, umbrellas etc.

The resort is a little ‘tired’. The room wasn’t as clean in certain areas as it should have been. The hallway & stairs outside our room were filthy.

Old school Florida at its finest.Great location, close to beach and the village. The resort is not state of the art, but clean and comfortable. Bob, and other staff, were super nice.

If we were staying longer than 3 days would have requested unit with full kitchen.

I liked the SeaSpray would come again but I wouldn't be on the third floor.

I liked the accomodations they were as expected.

Need to have a blanket in the bedroom, Didn't realize we had to go up several flights of stairs to get to the room after walking for five miles around the island
