About this apartment rental

One Block to Ocean and One Block to Bay in Secluded South Mission Beach. Stay here with us to enjoy the beach and bay away from the crowds. Restaurants, Markets, Rentals Amusement park, Indoor Pool and Health Club are within walking distance. Rentals for Bikes, Boogie Boards, Surfboards etc are extremely close. Belmont Park is only a stone throw away as well. Stay in South Mission Beach and Enjoy the perfect picturesque sunsets everyday.

The studio has hardwood and tile floors throughout, Redwood walls and closet, tile and travertine marble bathroom, some have granite countertops with bar seating and a pleather queen size couch/futon. Full kitchen with everything you need: Pots, Pans, Plates, Utensils, Glasses, Cups, Coffee Maker, Stove & Oven, Coin Washer/Dryer, Full Sized Refrigerator and Stainless Steel Appliances. Relax seated on the porch reading a book or playing a guitar taking in the luke warm and breezy air.
Extremely close to all restaurants, shops, bike rentals, surfboard rentals, para sailing, jet skis, etc.

For 1 vehicle in reserved tandem parking space. You will be sharing with unit #3 parking in tandem. One vehicle for each unit.

Walking distance to Shops, Restaurants, Market, Bars/Pubs. Drive 5 minutes to Seaworld, 10 minutes from Gaslamp/Downtown, Petco Park, Qualcomm Stadium, 2 blocks from bay.

NO ANIMALS. NO SMOKING PLEASE.

Note: All guests will need to agree and sign the terms stated in Rules from the attached contract in the listing when they make reservation. A Confirmation Contract and Reservation Request Form will be emailed and must be completed and returned. Also we require guest(s) to show Identification when checking in. A picture can be emailed prior to arrival. Subleasing, Parties, Smoking and Pets are Prohibited. If we have received these documents we will be sending check in information when the property is ready on the day of arrival.

While the place is small (studio), it was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. A full kitchen with pots and pans and dishes and we were steps to the beach and the bay. Perfect location. I would stay here again.

Being on the bottom unit was a little hard with the heavy walking of people upstairs. But it quieten down quickly. The area is busy but by 11pm it became very quiet. I would stay again. Centrally located near everything. Management were lovely and the unit was very clean

The property details listed paint a quaint beachfront picture; our experience was nothing like that: 1) The parking is ridiculous. If you have any vehicle larger than a sub-compact you'll be struggling to get it into the allotted space. And then you'll be climbing out the window to get out of the car. 2) There is no air conditioning and no cross ventilation because the bathroom window is too small. Our only salvation was a box fan hung by a camera strap in the front window. 3) Street noise is very high due to the building facing the main street and having to leave the window open for ventilation. Also, because the room doors face away from the ocean there are no ocean breezes coming your way. 4) The kitchen is minuscule with no room to actually sit at the table because the "full size appliances" are too big for the room. The kitchen did have very basic items for cooking but absolutely nothing extra (like paper towels). The toaster was barely functional. 5) Sitting on the porch reading a book was impossible because of the street noise plus the rickety chairs and tables there, as well as the very limited walking space for the other units. In summary, this was the most disappointing VRBO unit we've stayed in, and we've used several from Washington, DC to Hawaii. We believe the ad details are not reflective of the true property details, and we want to share our experience so others know what their getting up front.
