A cozy gem, much better than a hotel for about the same price.

The property was very close to the airport, roughly 20 minutes and is about 10 minutes drive to downtown Austin. The property was very quiet and the neighborhood felt safe to me. It's about 5 minutes from an HEB grocery and a quick walk to a nearby market. There is every amenity inside the property that I needed. Very comfortable bed. All the possibly needed heaters or fans/AC units. There was a nice Dyson hair dryer, the little office is nice but I didn't use it. There's LOTS of windows which let in great natural light. They have a coffee maker and coffee, cream and sweetener. The kitchen is the perfect size for really just one person at a time but would work if there was a need to cook a meal. There's some cute cats that enjoy the yard too, thought, they seem to prefer to keep to themselves. Overall is was a really nice stay and I would stay again.

Another successful vacation lol

Hosts were amazing! The place was easy to find and very nice and quiet while still being within walking distance of most places. Extremely nice place and easy instruction on check in and out. Hosts were extremely nice and offered help wherever they could! Fantastic place! 10/10 would stay again.

Good, a very helpful host

For my purpose (a meeting at the UTA in the corner of the campus) it was an excellent location. Each morning an easy, short, and pleasant walk. In the evening good internet to work.

The place was very quiet, peaceful and convenient, even in the middle of Austin.

This was very convenient for us since I had a conference at the ATT center. Peaceful neighborhood and pleasant surroundings. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay with attention to detail

The apartment was lovely overall - helpful hosts, clean cozy and comfortable - but where it really shines is all the details. high end bed and pillows. little information placards all over. all needed items provided, incl well stocked kitchen. a Japanese-style toilet! the location, while a bit outside of downtown, works well for me because it's close to a bus stop that goes both to downtown and the nearby grocery store.

Superb

This was an over-the-garage apartment that was very cute and well-stocked. The bed was comfy and it was overall very nice and quiet. The host had many helpful recommendations. There are plenty of stores and restaurants in the neighborhood but it is about 3 miles to downtown Austin. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The bathroom is teeny-tiny, although I used the attached office space as overflow and that worked pretty well. The TVs were a little wonky to use.

A home far from home

I could write a huge long report, but that would be too much. I was looking for a home for a 4-week stay at UT and I found it. The apartment is designed with love, perfectly equipped, has a great location in the green but still in the center of the city and the owners are awesome. So I felt at home from the first second and would have loved to stay longer. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The place was lovely, clean and very functional. The host also left for us a lot of little nice things like tea, coffee, water in the fridge and toiletries. They also gave us great recommendations about where to eat and what to do in Austin.

The best place to stay

The Pecan Tree House is the place to be. Wonderful attention from the owners. Beautiful place. It has all you need and more. Really enjoyed my stay. Would go back without a doubt.

Great space and value for a stay in ATX.

Very cute, clean, and comfortable space. The space and amenities made the stay feel like being in a home.

The street and neighborhood were pretty isolated so we could not really walk to any restaurants, bars, or nightlife.

great spot with everything!

honestly, everything was great. location, privacy, amenities. It was a perfect balance between classy, quirky (hidden art gallery!), and comfortable. so many extra touches- good coffee, lollipops, ice cold filtered water, even a bottle of wine! great a/c, a bidet… I could go on and on. hosts were super responsive. it’ll be my go-to in Austin.

Everything - communication with the owners was brilliant. Apartment was charming, well equipped, comfortable and clean. Location was great, there was a bus close by that took us downtown easily so no need to use the car

One of THE best VRBO's we have ever stayed in......Thank you so much!

We loved and appreciated all the host's extra special touches to make us more comfortable. The place was immaculate and there were many amenities we didn't expect that made us pleasantly surprised. They had make-up removal pads, coffee, tea, honey, butter, beer, white wine, and plenty of fresh drinking water. All the remotes were labeled for less confusion and they provided so many cool things like heated towel rack and toilet seat, and a raisable bed that was sooooo comfy.

A little hard to find but well worth it. I was able to park right in front by a beautiful garden and outdoor patio. The place was immaculate and had so many great amenities. Thankful for the beautiful fireplace and the beyond comfortable bed. Full kitchen with snacks and drinks was a wonderful surprise. The bidet with heated seat and remote control was a game changer - I am totally obsessed now! I 100% recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Only wish I could have stayed longer.

A perfectly nestled Austin haven that was comfortable and quaint.

Aside from the location being absolutely perfect, the property was terrific. They thought of everything, I don't even know where to begin. I also liked that, although it was a vacation rental, it felt like home. I could write a book on all the small things that made our Pecan Treehouse stay just perfect.

I would have to be an extremely particular/pompous traveler to dislike anything at all.

Clean, comfortable, convenient

We can’t say enough about our stay at the PecanTreeHouse. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. We only saw them once but they could not have been nicer. Communication was excellent. Besides the accommodation, they left many things to save us from having to make an immediate trip to the store. Would definitely recommend.

Very impressed!

The pecan treehouse was a super fun little area to stay. The location is awesome. The house itself is small but perfectly equipped with everything you need. We especially appreciated that everything was so well labeled! The hosts were exceptional! They responded very quickly to the only issue we ran into and gave us lots of suggestions for what to do in town! If we ever come back to visit Austin we will definitely be staying here again!

Only downsides we experienced were that the driveway is a little hard to navigate (but on street parking was available and easy to find every time) and there’s one flight of stairs to get into the treehouse.
