Had a great stay with my husband and 3 kids (ages 1, 3 and 6). Kids loved the bunk beds, and the staff was all so nice

Free breakfast was wonderful (and so convenient). The restaurant was also great for supper, and the e proximity to both the train station and cable car can’t be beat.

Things close very early around the hotel. This is not a knock on the hotel itself, but just know that the area will have very few dining options after about 7 o’clock!

A very pleasant stay in a lovely location, convenient for sightseeing

The hot spring bathing was wonderful, the place small and friendly, the rooms a nice cross between traditional Japanese and modern western

The meals could be improved. The set evening meal was very expensive and the a la carte options small in size and of variable quality. Best were the Japanese rice hot pot dishes, worst the strange ‘curry’.

Great location and comfortable stay - good value for families

The room had a nice layout (4 bunks) and the bathroom was nice. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Location is fantastic as we wanted to do the ropeway and the open air museum.

Air con in our room wasn’t cold enough. Other rooms had cooler air con (friends stayed in a different room). Food at the restaurant was ok but would probably have looked at other options in the area. Presentation of the food was nice just the options didn’t really appeal to me for dinner or breakfast but that is probably just my preferences.

Gora natural experienc3le

The private onsen was amazing. Since the weather was bad over the weekend having your own private onsen was amazing. It's conveniently located near the train station and has some restaurants near by that you can have dinner at. Their food is very thoughtfully prepared. I had my best breakfast ever in a hostel. Great service and very clean facilities. The bed was comfortable and had complete privacy. Loved my stay here. They also give you a personal robe to use which was very comfortable too.

The underpass that connects the train station to the hostel was under renovation so I had to take the long route but that is not the hostels fault. So have no negative thing to say

強羅駅から徒歩数分で、施設もお洒落で綺麗でした。温泉があり、フロントで言えば浴衣を貸してくれます。化粧落としや化粧水、乳液、洗顔料が揃っており、女性にもお勧めです！無料のバスタオルや歯ブラシなどアメニティも充実しており、気軽に泊まることが出来ます。

女性6人ドミトリーを利用させていただきましたが、布団の脇に乾涸びたコンタクトが落ちており掃除をしてないのかなと残念な気持ちになりました。浴衣を想定してパジャマは持って行かなかったのですが、浴衣が部屋に用意されていなかったので、過去の口コミから有料と勘違いして外出着で寝る羽目になってしまいました。チェックイン時に浴衣貸出がある旨を教えてくれると有り難かったです。

La ubicación no es la mejor pero tampoco es mala. Esta cerca de la estación, por lo que es cómodo, pero no es la zona más bonita de Hakone. Los baños termales están un poco antiguos pero limpios

Das Abendessen im Restaurant war gut un der Onsen ebenfalls, das Personal war freundlich

Leider sind die Zimmer nicht mehr wirklich in gutem Zustand unseres hat wirklich Jungendherbergsatmosphäre. Das Frühstück war sehr merkwürdig. Es gab für jeden einen Teller ohne Auswahlmöglichkeit und dann noch Marmelade, Saft und Müsli vom Buffet. Aber wenn man mehr Brot wollte musste man schon nach bestellen. Meinen Geschmack hat es nicht getroffen.

I really enjoyed my time here!

It is conveniently located only a 2 minute walk from Gora station and close to a great Café and a few good restaurants! The onsen that belongs to the hotel is amazing and a great experience. I stayed in a dorm room which has spacious beds and a safe and overall is very comfortable!

Next to GORA sta. and clean place to stay in HAKONE

Modern, Clean place and English Friendly staff. They are located literally next to GORA Station ! They also have an elevator for people with suitcase. The onsen was really nice and relaxing, make sure to try it !

Overall the hotel was very nice, however the beds were very uncomfortable.

The hotel itself was very nice; restaurant, onsen, and the rest of the facilities were great.

The air conditioning does not cool down to room and lets out very little air. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.

The lady at front desk is very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The quadruple room we stayed in is spacious and comfortable. The location is right next to the station.

Highly recommend!

The location from Gora Station was really a minute away! We were pleasantly surprised that the cable car to the Ropeway was also a minute away. The staff at reception was very friendly, helpful and we were happy they spoke English. Our room was clean and comfortable. And we enjoyed our first experience in the onsen on site. Highly recommend!!

Outstanding service and ambience and spacious room. Just don't miss it!

We were looking for accommodation that is traditional yet equipped with modern facilities. We absolutely loved how spacious our room was with a small balcony overlooking the cable car. The staff were extremely helpful and ensured that the food is catered to our needs - extremely content with the service and the food choices and ambience. Staff have done their duties beyond excellence. Onsen was great and not crowded. My kid loved the room so much that he was reluctant to leave the room. He was thrilled to wear Yukata of his size for the first time. The whole experience left us speechless and extremely grateful to the staff. I highly recommend.

The food was delicious, staff very helpful and locations perfect. You are basically next to the station and ropeway . We had a wonderful time . Not sure why it’s only a 2 star ⭐️

Our beds were a bit hard but think it was because it was on the floor. We will definitely choose a different style next time .

A Great Place to Stay While Visiting Hakone

This is a great place to stay if you're visiting Hakone. The facilities are very modern, and the setup is very cool with a bar/restaurant integrated into the property. The on-site onsen is tattoo friendly which was nice.

Very closed to Hakone station(3mins walk through an underground passage). Staffs speak English very well without any communication issue. Room is very large and comfortable. Guest can use public bath(spring) for free.

No restaurant for dinner around.

Two nights in Hakone

The proximity to the train station (literally around the corner) Western style hotel, room was very big & the bathroom was nice.

- The variety in coffee (something other than filter coffee would have been great) - breakfast was not my favourite, although my boyfriend loved it (50/50) - It would have been nice to receive some tourist information on arrival. For example the popular Hakone shrine on Lake Ashi is closed off to visitors whilst we stayed.
