We had a good stay in good facilities in a prime location

Well presented, it had everything facilities wise that we needed. It had been well cleaned and the bed linen and towels were of a good quality .

Due to it’s compact nature the stairs would be difficult for someone with slight mobility issues. One stair tread is sloped forward which could be a source of difficulty. Everything was fine for us but I do think it could be a bigger concern for others.

A great stay for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great location! The property is small but very cute. It was very clean upon arrival and our host was easily contactable. A great little holiday for us and I’d thoroughly recommend this property!

Relaxing with a home from home feel, all you could ask for and amazing location.

Excellent location, very close to the high street and facilities. The accommodation is small but has everything you need for a short stay and very comfortable

a gorgeously romantic cottage retreat

The cottage was compact and bijou although they had used the space well and it had everything you needed - well equipped and dog friendly. There was a guest welcome pack which was a nice touch with wine, crisps and biscuits. The property has a court yard which is a suntrap and nice to have the back door open. They also have you enough wood for the fire for your first night with fire lighters and matches. The cupboards had some basics including tea and coffee pods and salt and pepper. Had a bath and a shower located in the large bedroom. We had a lovely time and would stay again.

Shower caps would be a nice touch as you cant avoid the shower head. Whilst dog friendly dogs are not allowed on the leather furniture or upstairs it would be more practicable to say use throws on furniture and bed as its hard to keep animals downstairs. Beaches do not allow dogs May to September I think this maybe should go into the cottage details. Stairs are precarious although they have used a non-slip paint. The toilet flush is very loud was conscious not to flush late in the evening so as not to disturb neighbors'. Have to park on double yellow lines to unload the car or park at the top of the town steps.

Ideal

The property was in a superb location , everything you may need was there . Beds were really comfortable with great big fluffy towels( miles better than I’ve had in other cottages) Lovely village atmosphere, very friendly shop keepers and neighbours.

Hadn’t realised how small the bathroom was as my partner is 6ft 5 and the bathroom sink was very low. ideal for me at 5ft 2 😀

The cottage was adequate and the wonderful town and locations nearby made up for any shortfalls.

The beds were comfortable. It was very useful to have a shower and an upstairs bathroom which was easy to navigate in the night! The property is very pretty from the outside. Very convenient for access to the town and facilities.

It should be pointed out that the property is right on a busy pedestrian thoroughfare. This is noisy, especially at night. The courtyard is not very private and you can join in with conversations on both sides as well as unwanted noise! The dishwasher didn’t clean properly so I used a cleaning solution on an empty cycle. The fridge had a leak so the condenser is probably blocked. These things should be routine inspection and cleaning in a rented property. Apart from washing up liquid and a few dishwasher tabs, there were no cleaning products. The host could not be contacted, twice, so I rang the main office. The lady I spoke to was not very sympathetic.

A great little town house. Loved the decor and the location. Would have liked to have scored this property a ten but a few things let it down.

The staircase in the house - when going up step no.6 was dangerous. It was not level and slopes downwards making it slippy when descending - take great care. The mattress protector in the main bedroom was stained - needs a good wash or possibly replacing. The extractor fan over the shower was getting blocked up with fluff - needs clearing to function properly. The table mats had been hacked up - need replacing. The kitchen chairs were very shabby chic to the point of being rickety - take care. The pans needed a good clean - but I did that before I used them so they were left in good condition!

Lovely cottage, great location,wonderful place for a holiday

The location was very good, close to the beach & shops.

If we had been told we could reverse to the door to unload/ load. The WiFi router was in a cupboard unconnected.
